Another Foreigner Reported Missing in New Zealand

And You Thought Bermuda Triangle Was Too Far Away!

Hungarian man disappeared while kayaking in Lake Wakatipu

Queenstown police say they have been searching for a Hungarian who  disappeared while kayaking in Lake Wakatipu last Friday.

“Gellert Csaba Mudra, 41, was last seen paddling on the lake about 4.45pm Friday after hiring a kayak for one hour, Queenstown Sergeant Brian Cameron said.”

Then he rubbed the New Zealand vanishing cream all over his body, and voila!

The kayak was found floating with the paddle and lifejacket stowed inside about an hour later, and its interior was dry.

“Police have grave concerns for Mr Mudra given the light clothing worn and the relatively chilly conditions of the past few nights,” the policeman said.

Police described Mr Mudra as 185cm tall, 95kg, with short grey hair and with a “middle-aged spread.”

Mr Mudra described as an experienced kayaker was wearing wire rimmed glasses,  light blue polo shirt, beige long-sleeve woolen pullover, blue jeans and beige trainers.

At first the police said that they had not “excluded the possibility” that Mr Mudra “walked off after beaching the kayak.”

And then:

The detective said police wanted to speak with another kayaker who was in Queenstown Bay, near the Botanical Gardens, between 4.30pm and 5.30pm on Friday.

“We are pretty sure he would have seen Mr Mudra on the lake – they were only two kayakers out there at that time ,” Mr Bartlett said.

The other kayaker, also a European man, was paddling a yellow river-style craft, and driving a dark-coloured station wagon.

But finally, they changed their tune and sang the old familiar “has recently been depressed” song!

Missing Person’s Report [Amended] by New Zealand Police Farce

Queenstown Police are appealing for help from the public in their search for a Hungarian man who went missing on Friday November 13th after failing to return a hired Kayak used in the Queenstown Bay area of Lake Wakatipu.

41yr old Gellert Csaba MUDRA, who has been living in New Zealand for the past 2 1/2 years, was last seen paddling on the Bay at about 4:45pm on Friday afternoon, having hired a Kayak for an hour.

Mr MUDRA, who was wearing a beige coloured long sleeve woollen pullover, blue jeans, beige coloured trainers and a light blue polo shirt, is an experienced Kayaker and was wearing a light blue life vest when he left the beach.

At about 6:00pm the yellow and orange Minnow brand Kayak was found floating in the middle of the Bay with the paddle tucked inside the cockpit and the Life Jacket stowed behind the seat.

The strong winds present in the area at the time indicated that the craft may have drifted from the direction of the Lake Esplanade beach area.

The interior of the Kayak was dry as was the Life Jacket.

Police and Coastguard made shoreline searches of the Queenstown Bay and Frankton Arm areas of the Lake on Friday evening and again on Saturday without locating any sign of the missing man but have not excluded the possibility that Mr MUDRA may have walked off after beaching the Kayak in the Lake Esplanade area.

Sergeant Brian Cameron of the Queenstown Police says that Police have grave concerns for Mr MUDRA given the light clothing worn and the relatively chilly conditions of the past few nights.

Mr MUDRA has lived in Queenstown together with his wife for the past 18 months and has recently been depressed about his inability to find work.

Mr MUDRA is described as being about 185cm tall with a middle aged spread weighing approximately 95kgs and has short grey hair. He is clean shaven and wears wire rimmed glasses. Mr MUDRA speaks English well but with a strong European accent.

Police will reassess their search options again on Monday morning.

Police are asking that anyone who was boating in the Queenstown Bay area at the time the Kayak was found or anyone who may have seen Mr Mudra since to contact them on 03 4411600.

New Zealand Kills another Flying Dutchman

Posted by te2ataria on November 10, 2009

Michael Joseph Rozijn, 29, a young father from Holland, was killed after falling 60 meters onto rocks

It’s believed that Mr Rozijn was killed after falling from a tree branch onto rocks below at a cliff near Tapeka Pt, north of Russell in the Bay of Islands early Saturday morning.

“All we can say is that he has fallen and by the time the emergency services had located him he was dead,” Senior Sergeant Peter Robinson of Kerikeri police said.

Mr Robinson said the incident occurred early on Saturday, however paramedics got to him just before midnight on Saturday, a St John Ambulance spokesman said

It’s not known why it took the police and paramedics so long [nearly 24 hours] to get to him, or whether Mr Rozijn’s life could have been saved had they got to him earlier.

Mr Rozijn leaves behind a wife and a young child.

NEW ZEALAND: Turned into the Darkest Land

Posted by te2ataria on November 5, 2009

They find ‘em here, they find ‘em there… corpses, bodies, cadavers, stiffs everywhere

Not a day, not an hour goes by without a body being found somewhere in New Zealand

Take any city, “township,” road, blind alley, house, abandoned structure, cupboard, garage, burnt out wreckage of a car… look carefully, and you’ll find a body!

It’s no wonder New Zealand is among Top Ten destinations for “murder tourism.” [The others on the list are Afghanistan, Iraq, PNG, Somali...]

Interestingly (!) in most cases the police-instructed coroners want the curious public to believe that a victim can commit suicide by first hanging/ shooting  self  in the head, then walking to the  nearest bridge/ harbor and jumping in, or bludgeoning self to death, but making it look like ‘accidental death‘ caused by fire [where fire was started accidentally, though the murderer used a hydrocarbon accelerant.]

Here are some recent examples, which cover approximately 8 percent of such finds that have been reported or recorded by this blog, but demonstrate the point.

Most kiwis would say they’re  ’shocked’ when confronted with the evidence!

An inordinate number of bodies are found in burnt out cars throughout New Zealand each year…

  • Man’s body found in burning car in Wellington. A man’s body was found in a burning car at a Lower Hutt property this morning. The Fire Service and police were called to the property in Normandale Rd, Belmont, about 7.40am. Police said there were no suspicious circumstances and the matter would be referred to the coroner. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=10566079
  • Identity of body found in burnt-out car yet to be confirmed. Police are awaiting forensic tests to confirm the identity of a body found in a burnt-out vehicle in Tasman District this morning. The body was discovered on the beach front of Kina Peninsula near Baigents Reserve, 13km southeast of Motueka, about 9.30am, Motueka Senior Sergeant Grant Andrews said. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=10564666
  • The body of a man was found near his burning car. The man whose body was found near his burning car was identified as Lindsay Mark Antony Bell, 45, of Cambridge, New Zealand.  The nincompoop-come-secretive NZ police said the death was not being treated as suspicious. When asked what happened to the guy, they said they couldn’t reveal the cause of death. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=10562654
  • Person found in burnt out car died in fire. A body was found in a burnt out car near Auckland. The body, believed to be that of a man, was found in the driver’s seat of a white hatchback at Kawakawa Bay, about 55km southeast of downtown Auckland. • Burnt body found near Motueka. The charred remains of a body was found in a burnt-out car near Motueka. A local resident walking his dog made the grisly discovery – at Baigent’s Reserve on the tip of Kina Peninsula – about 7.30am, said Senior Sergeant Grant Andrews of Motueka police.  Police were unsure how the fire had occurred or what colour the car had been.  http://www.stuff.co.nz/nelson-mail/news/2307101/Burnt-body-found-near-Motueka
  • Body found in car fire at beach. Police forensic experts are at the scene where a body was found in a burnt-out car at Maori Bay, Muriwai. Police spokesman Kevin Loughlin said the cause of the fire had not been determined and police were likely to release more information this afternoon. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=10512680
  • Onehunga car fire death not suspicious. The body of a man was found in a burnt out car in Auckland after it had been seen doing a large “burn out.” Police say the fire which killed the man in Onehunga, south Auckland, last night was not suspicious. http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/34677
  • Identity of body should be known on Tuesday. The body of the man found dead in a burnt out car near Owaka in south Oatgo on Sunday was taken to Dunedin today for a post-mortem examination. Senior Sergeant Lane Todd, of Balclutha, declined to name the man. A passing motorist raised the alarm about 8am on Sunday after finding the burning car on the Southern Scenic Route.  http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=10386245

What’s So Fishy about this Dolphin Story?

Posted by te2ataria on October 23, 2009

sent by a reader

What Next, NZ Police Swapping Dead Americans?

First they were married; then barely engaged. One second she was alive;  the next she was dead floating face down on water.

One second she was alive and well, as healthy as a healthy 27-year-old woman can be; almost exactly 5 seconds later she was so dead she was floating face down on the water. Even immediate CPR couldn’t revive her.

In How NZ’s Dolphin Watch EcoTours Make Dolphins Hate Humans

You read: A 27-year-old American woman was killed today while swimming with dolphins in Tory Channel in the Marlborough Sounds, South island, New Zealand.

Local police said the woman was on a ‘Dolphin Watch EcoTours’ trip with her family. She was swimming among dolphins when other swimmers noticed she was floating face down.

Police is on record as reporting that she was traveling with her husband and his mother.

Meanwhile the police, acting in their capacity as the “caring attorneys” for Dan Engelhaupt, the owner of  Dolphin Watch EcoTours, prevented their “client” from making a statement to the press.

The locals, whose livelihood depends on causing stress to the dolphins, declared their interests, too:

Arrow Water Taxis owner operator Paul Quinn said operators in the area were right behind Mr and Mrs Engelhaupt.

Soon, help arrived from the government:

Provisional autopsy findings from Christchurch coroner Sue Johnson indicate the woman, 27, died of natural causes rather than drowning. Further test results were expected in a few weeks.

Wouldn’t it be a damn shame if the body was cremated by mistake!

Then came reports of the unusual request:

Her family, including her husband and his mother who were travelling with her, asked police not to release the woman’s name.[Actually, it was probably the police trying to figure out what to do next]:

The next day, everything changed:

An America tourist is grieving after the girlfriend who accepted his proposal of marriage died 24 hours later while swimming with dolphins.

Could we also know who the victim was?

Emily May Harper, 27, from Denver, Colorado, is thought to have died from natural causes as she swam in Tory Channel in the Marlborough Sounds on Tuesday.

What about her husband?

Actually, the police lied. Because in the latest version of the story, she wasn’t even married.

Oh!

Her boyfriend Matthew Hawkins proposed to her on Monday and she said ‘yes’.

Mr Hawkins said yesterday he believed his girlfriend was fit and healthy.

And here’s rest of the latest version of this sad love story:

Their last night together was memorable for all the right reasons, he told The New Zealand Herald.

He said they had been walking together at Picton Harbour, watching the lights reflecting off the water.

“I came up to her from behind and gave her a hug, and I said to her, ‘We should get married’. And she said, ‘What, are you serious?’ And I said, ‘Yeah, I think I am’. And then she said, ‘Yes, absolutely’.”

He said he had planned to ask her two days later and she never saw the ring he had bought because it was with his mother.

“I meant to ask her in Auckland, but the setting was just perfect.”

Next morning, the pair sailed out into the Marlborough Sounds with Mr Hawkins’ mother Sandra and brother Andrew on a Dolphin Watch Ecotours vessel.

He said she loved animals and wildlife and was very excited about the dolphin encounter.

“Emily kept giving me a thumbs-up signal while she was in the water.

“I took my eyes off Emily for barely a second, and I saw someone face down in the water.”

He said CPR began immediately but she could not be revived.

Two More Foreign Tourists Viciously Attacked in New Zealand

Posted by te2ataria on October 15, 2009

Two More German Tourists Viciously Beaten and Robbed in Paihia, the Bay of Islands, New Zealand

The Germans, aged 19 and 23, were beaten about the head and robbed near Paihia School early this morning by at least three Caucasian attackers.

The muggers stole the tourists’ passports, cash, German driver’s licenses, and other personal possessions.

Bay of Islands-Whangaroa Community Board chairman Paul Gorringe says he was disappointed by the attack because his people won’t have as many tourists to fleece, in the future.

In fact there have been reports of tourists attacks in the Bay of Islands for the last three years. However most of these reports are censored by the news

Mr Gorringe was reported as saying that attacks on tourists could just as easily happen in the main street of Auckland. And of course the attacks do happen on tourists not only in the main street of Auckland, but in all parts of the country.

Headline of the Week: “Motive Unclear”

Posted by te2ataria on October 9, 2009

sent by an Aussie reader working in India [Contextualized by TEAA's Team]

‘Indian student attacked in Melbourne, motive unclear’

The most creative [sic] headline of the week title goes to IBN Live, Press Trust Of India.

A 28-year-old student, who remains anonymous, got off from a bus at Keilor Plains train station in NW Melbourne and was attacked by two men, who repeatedly bashed him on the head with a baseball bat.

“Callous and unprovoked” is how Constipated Kevin Squires of Footscray police described the attack:

“They just kept whacking him in the back of the head.”

The victim received 20 stitches to close the gash on his head.

It’s estimated that up to 200 Indian students in Australia have been hurt in racially motivated gang attacks in 2009. Most of these attacks go unreported out of fear.

New Zealand Kills One More Foreigner

Posted by te2ataria on October 6, 2009

One Foreigner is Murdered/Killed in New Zealand Every Two Days  (9-year average)

A 22-year-old foreigner was killed when the car she was driving, most likely an average defective car driven on New Zealand Death Roads, went out of control and  slammed into a tree in Broadwood, south of Kaitaia, Northland yesterday morning.

The police say they will not release the victim’s name until her relatives overseas can be contacted. They have also refused to release her nationality, which has no bearing on  their privacy claim.

There are many outstanding cases in which the police has made similar statements about the foreigners who were murdered or killed in New Zealand, only to permanently suppress their names details later.

They didn’t use NZ-brewed kiwi-flavored Agent Orange this time to kill the Vietnamese man !

Thuong Si Nguyen, 32, and father of two young kids, was hacked to death with swords in Papatoetoe on August 27.

Police said they have arrested two Auckland men, aged 27 and 34, this morning and charged them with Mr Nguyen’s murder.

No one else was being sought in relation to the death.

The victim’s family returned his ashes to Vietnam earlier this month.

He Survived the Extreme Perils of North Sea

Posted by te2ataria on September 20, 2009

Only to be Mowed Down by a Drunken Old Witch in New Zealand

Frank van Kampen, 46, worked on oil rigs in the North Sea for many years before going to New Zealand to work for the Department of Conservation.

Later,  he trained to be a teacher;  got married and had a first baby with his wife only 10 weeks ago.

He was killed when a drunken 70-year- old female crashed into him from behind. The fatal collision occurred on State Highway 1, New Zealand’s narrowest Death Road.

A colleague of van Kampen who witnessed the crash  described the way the 70-year-old female was driving long before she crashed into the victim:

“She was totally out of it, she was absolutely blotto,” he said. “She was all over the road. She nearly ran into me a couple of times.

“I looked up and Frank was there and she ran straight into him. I think he died instantly.”

He described the woman as “a menace” saying that he hoped she would be jailed for killing van Kampen. “Her actions along the road before she hit Frank were just unbelievable.”

The incompetent police, which invariably fails to prevent such accidents, said the drunken female driver driving the station wagon that killed van Kampen failed a breath test. “Her licence has been suspended and she is likely to face charges once the serious crash unit completes its investigation.” Media reports said.

[Boy, isn't that a relief for poor van Kampen; only if the police could see how him right now, jumping with joy at the news!]

If only van Kampen knew his NZ Death Clock had started ticking, the moment he left the offshore oil rigs  near the coast of Scotland.

Teen missing in ice shelf presumed dead

Missing 18-yo student named as Edward Sai Louie

The missing student who allegedly fell through an ice shelf on Mt Rolleston near Arthur’s Pass on Saturday , was named as Edward Sai Louie.

sai louie
Edward Sai Louie

Police said a friend who was skiing with Mr Sai Louie did not want to be named, and presumably is not a suspect in a possible foul play, either.

“About 5pm, while Mr Sai Louie and his friend were descending from the Low Peak of Mt Rolleston, he is believed to have fallen through the ice after shouting out to his friend for help.” A report said.

The Mt Cook Rescue Team [sic] abandoned its half-hearted search plan Sunday night, while “police said earlier attempts to get to the area where the man went missing were hampered because of a high risk of causing an avalanche.”

Don’t these people suck big time?

While tobacco companies are made to put warning signs on their products in most countries, New Zealand govt has exempted itself from warning ski enthusiasts about the deadly perils of skiing on or climbing Southern Alps.

New Zealand Kills Another Visiting Indian

Posted by te2ataria on August 12, 2009

Welcome to NZ: Tourists Killing Fields!

Another Indian tourist killed in a car crash in New Zealand

An Indian tourist was reportedly killed in a car crash near Gisborne on Friday.

“Ayjay Singh, 23, died when a blue Subaru Legacy WRX he was travelling in hit a concrete shed on the northern side of Makaraka, near Pilmer Rd about 9.45pm.” NZPA said.

Gisborne police reportedly contacted Interpol and the New Zealand High Commission to notify the victim’s  family.

“Police were looking at reports the car clipped another as it attempted to overtake near the Pilmer Rd intersection, before it went out of control and hit the shed.”

Based on personal experience, similar incidents reported by friends and acquaintances, countless personal observations and numerous reports of similar incidents that have occurred previously, the Moderator believes that Mr Singh was intentionally forced out of the road in an act of homicide, which was probably racially motivated.

It is understood that a family member will fly to New Zealand to take Mr Singh’s body back to India in a body bag [see 36" x 90" sample featured in this photo.]

Dolphins and penguins are dying too!

The Deadly, Toxic-Algae-Green New Zealand

First read:

Dogs in Rigor Mortis and Dead Pilchards…

Health authorities now say toxic algae may be the most likely cause of death and illness in dogs walking on the Auckland beaches; they had initially suspected malicious poisoning, and for good reasons too. Murdering people and animals by poisoning them with powerful poisons such as 1080, Brodifacoum [dubbed "bloody-f*ck-em"] and the likes, are all too common everyday occurrences in New Zealand.

It has since been revealed that dead dolphins and penguins have also been found on Auckland beaches. See excerpts from a new story breaking out:

auckland mass deaths
Scientists are trying to find out whether there is a link between dog deaths on the beaches and dying dolphins, penguins and pilchards. Photo /Greg Bowker. Image may be subject to copyright.

Toxic algae prime killing suspect

A spokeswoman for the Auckland Regional Public Health Service said officials believed a dog-poisoner was at work when they first heard reports of sick dogs, two months ago on Kohimarama beach. The dogs had been seen eating something above the high-tide mark so natural toxins seemed unlikely, she said.

Reports of sick dogs in Blockhouse Bay parks last year turned out to be deliberate poisoning with laced sausages.

A dog-poisoner was again suspected when two dogs were reported dead at Narrow Neck beach, said medical officer of health Denise Barnfather.

It was not until health officials heard of sick dogs at Waiheke and Browns Bay and deaths of other wildlife, on Monday, that they suspected something was in the seawater.

About the same time, the Department of Conservation connected the dog deaths to increasing numbers of dead penguins in the past week.

Scientists are trying to find the link, if any, between the dog deaths and unusually high numbers of dead dolphins, penguins and pilchards in the Hauraki Gulf.

Andy James, who lives locally, had “reported to the Department of Conservation of seeing up to 40 dead little blue penguins in the past two weeks on beaches north of Auckland at Mangawhai, Pakiri, and Te Arai.” Nzherald said.

Russell resident Alan Wilkinson found five dead little blue penguins at Brick Bay and nearby Tapeka Bay on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Another reader reported seeing eight large jellyfish, possibly Lion’s Manes – a large pink-red creature whose venom can affect the respiratory system – at Takapuna yesterday.

However, Michael Beasley, from the National Poisons Centre, said jellyfish stings would be unlikely to cause the kind of symptoms reported in the ill dogs. The medical toxicologist suggested algal poisoning was more likely, although he stressed he was not an expert in the area.

He listed several symptoms of algal poisoning matching those of the dead and ill dogs. People and dogs can become ill if they eat shellfish or other marine animals that feed on toxic algae.

Shellfish can accumulate much toxins , without being harmed, and pass it on up the food chain. Victims’ symptoms may include weakness, paralysis of limbs, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, breathing difficulties, possibly seizures and death.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry is believed to be treating toxic algae as the most likely cause of the dog deaths, although a spokeswoman stressed that the only cause ruled out was 1080 or Brodifacoum poisoning.

Meanwhile the Ministry completed the third of three drops of the rat poison Brodifacoum on Rangitoto and Motutapu islands yesterday, Nzh said.

NZ Police Licensed to Kill

Posted by te2ataria on July 29, 2009

sent by a reader in Brazil [edited by TEAA]

This entry replaces The B*stards Have Killed Yet Again!

NZ police is the only one in the world, save for the UK, that can kill ordinary people with absolute impunity

If one tenth as many people were killed by the police in any other country as they are in New Zealand, there would be bloody riots, even a revolution.

If the police force in any other country were as vicious as the motherf*ckers are in New Zealand, they’d have their heads removed and impaled on 10-foot long sticks and displayed outside the town halls to teach the next generation of the bast*rds an unforgettable lesson!

In space of less than 24 hours, the vicious, brain dead bast*rds have killed at least one person, near-fatally injured another by shooting him in the chest, and seriously injured a dozen more.

At worst the average criminal police officer [partially-trained, psychopathic, brownhead assassin] gets 100 hours of community service for murder.

Even here, in Brazil, people wouldn’t put up with such criminal police force.

[Even in Myanmar, North Korea, China... the police force are more accountable. TEAA]
