Third Jetboat Collision Near Queenstown Leaves 3 Tourists With Broken Bones
Two tourists were left with broken collar bones and a third with a broken knee after the jetboat in which they were passengers flipped on the Dart River, near Glenorchy, north of Queenstown, New Zealand. The remaining 18 passengers, all of whome were tourists from the U.S., England and Scotland, sustained somewhat less severe injuries.
A tourist died in a jetboat crash on the Matukituki River on Boxing Day last year and last month, two visitors died when a jetboat and jet ski collided on the Kawarau River.” Media reported.
