Quotes of the Week by Keisha Castle-Hughes, and TEAA [the Moderator]

“I think it’s derogatory to state that it’s not okay for New Zealanders to stand up and take interest in the world around them… Discouraging New Zealand youth to participate, think and speak out is not for the Prime Minister of NZ.”

“Castle-Hughes is one of the celebrity faces of the Greenpeace ‘Sign On’ campaign urging the government to commit to a 40 percent reduction in carbon emissions by 2020. The government has said it will aim for a 10-20% reduction.” Sunday Star Times said.

TEAA Message to John Key:

I think you should stick to money-lending and defrauding investors in the foreign exchange market [because you cause less damage to the environment that way!]

On Tuesday John Key [the NZ PM and “honorary Israeli council in NZ”]  said Castle-Hughes, who is an ambassador for Greenpeace’s Sign On campaign, “should stick to acting.”  He  now says he is prepared to eat humble pies, or worse, and chat to actor Keisha Castle-Hughes concerning climate change.

Michael Campbell Wants Out!

Michael Campbell Has Had Enough

When a Banshee ‘Nation’ Wares Down and Drives Out Its Native Heroes

New Zealand golfer Michael Campbell is moving his family out of New Zealand, heading to Sydney.

Thanks to the sad, antihero culture in New Zealand, Campbell’s golfing career is going downhill, and his miss in the US PGA championships this weekend was a reminder of his mental agony.

Campbell, 40, and his wife Julie are relocating permanently to Sydney, Australia,  with their sons Thomas and Jordan, the Herald on Sunday wrote.

The golfer is concerned about the health of his children in this toxic country. He doesn’t want them to grow up in New Zealand’s culture of drugs, school-age sex and extreme violence; he doesn’t want his kids to be brain dead by the time they are teens, or die of cancer at an early age, and he is plucking his kids out of this shitpit.

“His two sons needed to settle at one school and Sydney offered an outdoor life, ” Herald quoted him as saying.

“While Campbell has earned more than $9m since he won the US Open and the World Matchplay Championship in 2005, his on-course earnings this year have been just $23,575, with only two months of the global season to go.”

“Broadcaster and sports presenter Peter Williams said yesterday that Campbell had become a ‘total enigma.'”

“People in the world of golf are just bewildered as to why it has all gone so wrong so quickly.”

Perhaps because people in the world don’t know about the scale of horror and agony concerned parents go through each day of the week their young children go to school, or play in a playground in this ‘rude-joke’ of a country.

“Although Campbell had suffered from a back and shoulder injury, Williams said, the British press had accused him of not showing heart and ‘withdrawing at any excuse to get out of a tournament whenever he’s scoring badly.'”

Campbell is one of the lucky ones to skip the sinking ship. Many others can’t afford the luxury.
