New Zealand: A World Leader in Violent Crimes

In  case you needed an hourly proof,  the partially clothed body of a 55-year-old woman was found in Murphy’s Park, Otahuhu, Auckland.

The victim’s body was found behind a toilet block in the park adjacent to a kindergarten and high school.

The victim had severe head injuries, a report said.

Meanwhile, Police finally confirmed the body found on Godley Heads [Devil’s Head might be a more appropriate name for the area,] on Christchurch’s Port Hills is that of missing woman Vanessa Pickering.

Police also said that the murder had taken place where the victim’s body had been found. [So the credit MUST go to Christchurch!]

“Vanessa Pickering was last seen on Monday, leaving her New Brighton home with her daughter and in the company of the man in a blue/green Toyota Estima. Police are still keen to receive information from the public regarding sightings of the van or Ms Pickering, particularly in the North Canterbury area, from Monday until midday on Wednesday, ” a report said.

“Malcolm Chaston, the man police sought in connection to the disappearance of Vanessa Pickering, has been charged with kidnapping and sexually violating [rape of] a a seven-year-old”.
