NZ Parliamentarian, Police and Judiciary Are Equally Crooked
The Greedy Ex-MP
Former National MP and Children’s Commissioner Roger McClay has admitted to defrauding charities by charging them for flights which had already been paid for by the taxpayer.
“McClay pleaded guilty in Auckland District Court today to three [of 56 ] charges of fraud relating to double dipping on flights taken over the last three years,” according to the NZ Herald website.
Another Bad Copper
Constable Neil Robert Ford, of Alexandra, a “long-serving” copper is on trial in Dunedin today for perjury. He lied under oath about his account of a car crash, TVNZ reported.
“The Crown said Ford was driving a police car on a rural road near Alexandra in July 2005 when he did a U-turn and was struck by a car being driven by 17-year-old Shane Cribb.” The official NZPA said.
