Evil Aussie Arthur Phillip Freeman Convicted of Murder

Ajury of five men and seven women found Freeman, 37, of Hawthorn, Melbourne guilty of murdering his 4-yo daughter.

Jurors had been asked by Freeman’s barrister, David Brustman, SC, to decide whether Freeman was “mad or bad”.

The jury found that Freeman was evil because he had “consciously, voluntarily and intentionally” thrown  Darcey Iris Freeman to her death off Melbourne’s West Gate Bridge on January 29, 2009.

“Ben Freeman, now 9, said his father stopped their car on the bridge, took his sister Darcey from the front seat and threw her over the rail,” according to a report.

Four-year-old Darcey Iris Freeman who sustained massive injuries from the 58-metre fall ultimately died of drowning on January 29, 2009.

Apartheid NZ Police Shoot Maori Teenager Dead

Posted by te2ataria on March 28, 2011

BANG, BANG … You’re Dead You “Black B*stard!”

Lachan Kelly-Tumarae, 19, who was shot dead by police today, had just escaped the Christchurch earthquake.

Police bullet shells on the road after the murder. Photo by NZPA.

The young man  left  Christchurch following the earthquake and returned to Hawke’s Bay, his uncle James Tumarae told reporters.

“He’d been down there for the earthquake. That’s why he came home two weeks ago, to have a break from all that,” James Tumarae said.

Before going to Christchurch the victim had been on a six-week Limited Service Volunteer course with the army at Trentham, his uncle said.

“Kelly-Tumarae was an only child and was born and raised in Hastings and had planned to join the army, Tumarae said. He had two half-sisters”, according to a report.

Kahi Hanara, who lives near the murder scene said the shots sounded like they came from a machine gun.

“There were about seven, all straight after each other,” he said.

“We thought it was a machine gun, like an AK47, you know like you see on TV – that’s why we were so surprised this morning when we heard it was a handgun.”

Police’s usual excuses for murdering Lachan Kelly-Tumarae are posted here.

Japanese cyclist paralysed in crash

Posted by te2ataria on March 25, 2011

Japanese Tourist Who Survived the Christchurch Earthquake Left Paralysed After Being Hit by Car

A Japanese tourist who survived the Christchurch earthquake by has been left paralysed from his upper chest down after being knocked off his bike by a careless driver.

The driver, who claims he was distracted by an insect, drove into the back of the bicycle knocking the Japanese man off his bike on March 10.

“The cyclist slid across the bonnet of the vehicle, struck the windscreen, catapulted over the top of it and landed on the road. As a result he suffered serious spinal injuries, had limited use of his arms, and could not breathe without assistance,” according to a report.

District Court Judge Philip Moran (Christchurch District Court sitting at the Rangiora Court House) sympathized with the “traumatized” driver and said he was not speeding, and that “the carelessness was not high”, but the consequences were horrendous. “He said the sentencing for this offence was a difficult exercise but he felt Howard’s response was heartfelt and appropriate.”

Instead of a custodial sentence, he ordered the driver to pay  a $10,000 “emotional harm reparation payment” and disqualified him from driving for six months.

The report did not say how old the victim was.

Australian Woman Killed in Karako Glacier Named

Posted by te2ataria on March 24, 2011

Background Story:

Australian Woman Killed in New Zealand

Police have named the Australian woman killed in Fiordland national park as Melissa Therese Martin, 38, of Sydney.

Mrs Martin’s husband is said to have received non-life threatening injuries, after he fell 40 metres down an ice face in  Karako Glacier area.

About 30 times as many Australians are killed in New Zealand, as New Zealanders are in Australia.

Melissa Martin, 38, and her husband Brad Skinner from Sydney, Australia. They had planned to spend 3 years “adventure-neering” in New Zealand, Asia, Europe and South America, according to their blog. But like “many”  other Australians, she never managed to get out of New Zealand alive.

On average, at least one foreigner will be killed in New Zealand every day throughout 2011.

Secret Deal Keeps Child Rapist Off the Hook

Posted by te2ataria on March 23, 2011

The Awesome Power of Judicial CORRUPTION

Corrupt Judge Hints at Custodial Sentence for Child Rapist

NO judiciary is as corrupt as New Zealand’s!

The well-known TV comedian who raped a 4-year-old child  has pleaded guilty to committing indecent assault on his young victim,  a far lesser offence to what he committed.

He wasn’t even charged with rape,  but with unlawful sexual connection with a child under 12.

[Rumor has it in an earlier statement, the rapist had told police that he thought he was having sex with his wife at the time!]

“I-shrunk-your-mum-again-kids” rapist is allowed name suppression allegedly to protect the child’s identity.

He was supposed to stand trial in Auckland District Court today, but her defence team, headed by barrister Marie Dyhrberg QC, and prosecution counsels struck a deal.

Judge Philippa Cunningham indicated she would not impose a custodial sentence when the man next appears before the court on May 26.

The reasons for the change of charge were given in closed court, and the media were not allowed in.

The man was arrested after an incident in December 2009.

He was remanded today on bail.

Chch Quake: A Critique of NZ ‘Scientific’ Community

Posted by te2ataria on March 19, 2011

The following post has been reprinted here with the permission of Fire-Earth Blog:

What sort of science is that which mandates an allegedly democratic regime to condemn hundreds of thousands of people by locking them in an area where two significant earthquakes have struck within five months, killing or injuring thousands, destroying many homes, livelihoods and much of the infrastructure?

NZ scientists: Intellectual rigor mortis set?

Posted by feww on March 18, 2011

Written and updated by a Member of FIRE-EARTH Science Team

SCIENCE IS DEAD IN NEW ZEALAND!

WHY HAVE SCIENTISTS STOPPED LEARNING?

The Government and its Royal Society of New Zealand have  released a “scientific paper” at a briefing in Wellington, concerning future earthquake risks for Christchurch and New Zealand, a report said.

“Nobody can predict when an earthquake will strike, the Prime Minister’s chief science adviser says,” according to the report.

THE BIG WHITE FACT IN THE ROOM remains that FIRE-EARTH Blog has successfully forecast earthquakes including those in New Zealand Region, Japan Region and elsewhere. AND the forecasts have been posted on this blog for everyone to see.

“The Government and the Royal Society of New Zealand today released a scientific paper at a briefing in Wellington, looking at earthquake predictions and future earthquake risks for Christchurch and New Zealand.” Report said.

“During the briefing, Sir Peter Gluckman hit out at Ken Ring’s controversial prediction that another big quake will hit Christchurch on or near March 20.”

FIRE-EARTH Moderators do not know who or what “Ken Ring” is. However, here’s a short list of possibilities as to his identity and brief:

  1. Ken Ring is another one of those ‘Internet prophets’ feeding on FIRE-EARTH quake forecasts
  2. He is a straw man created by NZ government to discredit by association earthquake forecasts released by FIRE-EARTH Blog
  3. All of the above!

[NOTE: Prior to successful earthquake forecasts being posted on FIRE-EARTH blog, the Ken Ring character had not surfaced. What’s the plan? IF Ken Ring’s latest prediction for another major earthquake on March 20, 2011 to strike Christchurch, New Zealand fails to materialize, and it probably would, then he would be “eaten alive” by the NZ Prime Minister and his cabal, the Royal Society of New Zealand and the country’s corporate media. Once Ken Ring has been discredited and severely dealt with, they hope New Zealanders would no longer take any earthquake hazard warning forecasts by any source seriously. Note also the confidence by which Gluckman et al make their ‘NO-quake’ statements, as if fully briefed on the plot!]

“Scientists could identify regions vulnerable to quakes and predict the likely magnitude of a quake but not the precise locality, depth or timing, he said.” The report added.

“Certainty as to a particular event or outcome just cannot be achieved. What therefore may happen, can only be described in terms of risks and probability.” Gluckman said.

And here’s the crunch:

“Scientifically there’s no reason not to rebuild in Christchurch,” he said.

Scientifically there’s “no reason not” to build a house of cards, or a castle in the sand …  but you don’t authoritatively influence people to occupy them, or invite thousands of visitors and their uncles to come along, too, FIRE-EARTH contends.

[More than a third of the Christchurch earthquake victims, those whose name have so far been revealed, seem to be clueless foreigners who probably thought New Zealand was a safe place.]

What sort of science is that which mandates an allegedly democratic regime to condemn hundreds of thousands of people by locking them in an area where two significant earthquakes have struck within five months, killing or injuring thousands of people, destroying many homes and much of the infrastructure?

“GNS Science chief executive Alex Malahoff and Royal Society of New Zealand vice-president Keith Hunter were also on the panel.” The report said.

May they live long enough to eat their scientific paper! And that’s a prayer, not a “curse!”

Scientists who turn politicians, or those who fail to help people staying alive shouldn’t receive any money from the public purse!

Truth is the bottom line, income from tourism, is more important to your government than human lives.

“and our govt are just people, citizens, like ourselves…”

REALLY? Are you a multimillionaire like your PM John Key?

Your PM is a greedy individual who has amassed a massive fortune, albeit from “immoral activities,” and who has shown no interest in the livelihood of quarter of a million NZ kids living in abject poverty.

Canadian Tourist Killed in New Zealand

Posted by te2ataria on March 15, 2011

One Canadian Tourist Killed, Another Seriously Injured

Police have finally revealed identity of the Canadian tourist who was killed in a car crash near Hamilton last week.

He has been named as 19-year-old Cameron Chad Adrian, from Alberta, Canada.

Mr Adrian was violently killed when his car collided with a truck on State Highway 1, near Karapiro, 30km southeast of Hamilton, on Friday, according to reports.

“A 20-year-old female passenger suffered serious injuries and was taken to Waikato Hospital,” a report said.

Cooking the Death Toll

Meanwhile, as the death toll from the tragic earthquake in Japan rises, Mr Key’s gang cook the books to reduce the death toll from the Christchurch quake in an attempt to make a major tragedy look like a minor accident.

Come back a week from now and they might even deny the Christchurch quake ever occurred!!!

As for the “anti-Chinese” stance, don’t be fooled. Th egovt has already agreed to pay the family of each Chinese victim a “reasonable” cash gift, informed sources say.

However, there are two reasons why the government won’t admit the fact that they have agreed to pay additional compensation [blood money] to the Chinese victims family:

1) They score  massive political points and look good

2) The avoid having to pay similar compensation to the families of other foreign victims  including the  Filipinos, Japanese, Turkish, Iraqis, British, Australians, Irish…

On average, at least one foreigner will be killed in New Zealand every day throughout 2011.

Swedish Tourist Killed in New Zealand

Posted by te2ataria on March 14, 2011

A Swedish tourist was killed in Nelson Lakes National Park

The body of Ivar Sturesson-Bolin, 25, was found at the bottom of a waterfall in Nelson Lakes National Park this morning, police said.

Mr Bolin reportedly arrived in New Zealand with a companion for a hunting holiday a week ago.

“Police said the hunters got separated in the Shift Creek area of Nelson Lakes National Park late on Saturday and Mr Sturesson-Bolin’s companion became concerned when he did not arrive at Coldwater Hut, at the head of Lake Rotoiti.” NZ Media reported.

On average, at least one foreigner will be killed in New Zealand every day throughout 2011.

Police Add Insult Manslaughter

Posted by te2ataria on March 13, 2011

The “Thick Blue Line” Assassins Deny ‘Murder’ Again!

  • NZ Police deny assaulting “suspect” which led to Manslaughter!

  • NZ Police deny coverups!

  • NZ Police deny “blue code of silence.”

Police constables involved in a manslaughter case said they faked job sheets for three years and lied through their teeth to p4otect a colleague. They knew how to cover up effectively because a senior officer coached them.

Here’s what Waikato Times said about the case:

Police deny ‘code of silence’ in coverups

Court action stretching over seven years against police charged with coverups of an alleged assault on a suspect, who later died, ended this week with police denying a “blue code of silence” culture exists.

This week the High Court at Auckland granted an application for proceedings to be stayed against Clinton Lyall Hill, 36, a constable from South Auckland.

He had been through two trials in 2009 and 2010 with juries unable to reach verdicts after being charged with assault on George Tipene Harris, 24, and attempting to pervert the course of justice.

While off duty Mr Hill had arrested an intoxicated Mr Harris in the early hours of October 3, 2004, for trying to steal his mobile phone. He hailed a passing patrol car which he put Mr Harris in, and was later accused of beating him up in the back seat.

Mr Harris got away, ran on to Great South Rd and was hit and killed by a street sweeper truck. Mr Hill was initially charged with manslaughter, but in his first trial the jury threw that charge out.

He remained with the police throughout his trials but on February 26 this year resigned. Two weeks later it was decided he would not face a third trial. He maintained his innocence through a coroner’s inquest, a Police Complaints Authority investigation and all trials.

But while the charges against Mr Hill have been stayed, the two other constables in the patrol car the night Mr Harris died have already admitted and been convicted of conspiracy to defeat the course of justice for covering up the alleged incident.

Benson Murphy and Reuben Harris were sentenced to 15 months’ jail, receiving a 60 per cent reduction for agreeing to testify against their former colleagues – later reduced still further on appeal to 10 months’ home detention. The two constables said for three years they faked job sheets and lied about the night to protect Mr Hill. They claimed a sergeant coached them.

The sergeant was acquitted in a separate case. His name is suppressed and he remains on the force.

In Murphy’s court case it was revealed he twice tried to discuss the death of Mr Harris with his supervising sergeant but “the sergeant refused to discuss the matter with him”. He finally confided in a fellow officer and golfing buddy who then dobbed him in and the case was re-opened.

Manukau police were criticised in 2005 when retired High Court judge Sir David Tompkins QC concluded there was a “blue code of silence” in the district.

Sir David specifically referenced the work of Canadian academic Janet Chan who said new police recruits were “quickly socialised into a culture of not telling, and discovered that, unless the offence was very serious, it was extremely inadvisable to blow the whistle on one’s colleagues”.

Civil liberties lawyer Gary Gotlieb said coverups of police misdeeds “happens more than it should”.

“By and large the police will give evidence as it is but when it involves an officer, one of their own stepping over the line a bit, they will often do their best to make sure that officer doesn’t get into trouble.”

He said serious misconduct was not tolerated but “lesser indiscretions are often not dealt with”.

However, Counties Manukau district commander Superintendent Mike Bush said of the issues around the death of Mr Harris: “This matter was fully investigated at the time by an assistant commissioner and in my opinion was an isolated incident and does not reflect on the culture of this district.”

Mr Gotlieb said stamping out the culture depended on police managers cracking down, and the prosecutions around Mr Harris’ death showed this was happening, though managers were away from the coalface and often unaware of day-to-day practices. He said the incoming commissioner of police, Peter Marshall, was a “pretty refreshing” man who insisted on very high standards.

The 2007 report of Dame Margaret Bazley’s Commission of Inquiry into Police Conduct said there “are indications that bonding among officers can still inhibit both the disclosure and the investigation of alleged misconduct by police officers”.

Smart Foreign Students Go to … GERMANY

Posted by te2ataria on March 10, 2011

WHY NOT STAY ALIVE WHILE YOU STUDY IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY?

WHY NOT LEARN TO SPEAK ENGLISH WITH AN ACCEPTABLE ACCENT?

WHY NOT STUDY YOUR FAVORITE SUBJECT IN A FIRST CLASS UNIVERSITY IN GERMANY INSTEAD OF A THIRD GRADE PLACE IN NEW ZEALAND?

To ALL Foreign Students Currently Studying in New Zealand or Planning to Come Here

You probably didn’t know …

1. “Germany has been named as the most supportive country for overseas students, in an international league table.”

2. YOU can complete a degree course entirely in ENGLISH and without ever having to speak German.

“In the international zones of these classes, students from Germany, the United States and China participate in seminars conducted by German professors speaking in English”

Herbert Grieshop says international English might be easier to understand than a Yorkshire accent. Source: BBC

“I wonder whether a Chinese student can understand us better than someone with a Yorkshire accent or some strange American accent,”  says Herbert Grieshop, director of the Berlin University’s Centre for International Co-operation.

3. A survey conducted by the British Council has placed Germany in first place in its  international league table.

“The strongest overall performance was from Germany, which has promoted a deliberate policy of internationalisation.” BBC reported.

OVERSEAS FRIENDLY COUNTRIES [Source: British Council]

1. Germany
2. Australia [Except for Indian students]
3. UK [You’ll have to mortgage your ancestral home to pay the tuition fees]
4. China
5. Malaysia
6. US
7. Japan
8. Russia
9. Nigeria
10. Brazil
11. India

Thankfully, New Zealand is NOT on the List, a fact that makes the list marginally more credible.

AND HERE’S THE TOTAL WINNER:

No tuition fees!

Overseas students do not pay higher fees in Germany.

“Freie Universitat Berlin, a top-ranking research university, has been part of this internationalisation project. It anticipates that a third of its students could be from overseas in the future.” BBC reported.

“It’s a well kept secret, that students are able to come here and there are very few barriers,” says a foreign student.

“To go to university in Canada means taking on debt. It’s essentially free to do it in Germany. It’s incredibly appealing not to have to mortgage your future.” An international student said.

“I think the biggest factor is financial. In the US a graduate programme would cost hundreds of thousands of dollars, in Germany it doesn’t cost anything. And it doesn’t cost more for foreign students than it does for German students.” Says a U.S. student studying in Berlin University. Read more…

Thanks for update.
Our advice to YOU and all intelligent people in Wellington area
1. There’s a frighteningly large buildup of tectonic stress energy right under your feet.
2. RUN while you’re still alive, before the next exodus bottleneck makes it impossible to flee the danger zone.

Moderators are aware of a M4.7 that occurred at 09:07UTC about 15km NW of Wellington, New Zealand.
Earthquakes are natural phenomenons (as opposed to sci-fi action you alluded) and as such constitute part of the earth’s natural defense mechanism, among other functions. What you’re witnessing is a planetary response to harms caused by humans.

In “Christchurch Earthquake and ‘Somali Pirates’” posted on February 27, 2011 FIRE-EARTH issued the following warning:

[SEISMIC HAZARD WARNING: Areas in and around the Golden Bay, the Tasman Bay, the region north and south of the Cook Strait, the entire northern seaboard of North Island, especially the Hauraki Gulf area, as well as the western and eastern seaboards of the NI are believed to be among NZ’s potential disaster hotpots. “FIRE-EARTH believes that unprecedented cataclysmic geophysical events [seismic, volcanic …] WILL destroy much of New Zealand islands within the next few years.”

IF you’re interested about saving lives, these are the sort of messages that you really ought to spread, NOT the sci-fi nonsense about “mega weapons.”

Why did YOUR govt bury earthquake warnings which were meant to alert people, especially foreign tourists/students visiting New Zealand?

Truth is the bottom line, income from tourism, is more important to your government than human lives.

“and our govt are just people, citizens, like ourselves…”

REALLY? Are you a multimillionaire like your PM John Key?

Your PM is a greedy individual who has amassed a massive fortune, albeit from “immoral activities,” and who has shown no interest in the livelihood of quarter of a million NZ kids living in abject poverty.

That’s what you call democracy?

kiwi of the Month: Amy Knowles

Posted by te2ataria on March 2, 2011

NEW Zealand teenager and  the Christchurch earthquake

Amy Knowles, 16, described on her Facebook page how she enjoyed stealing ice creams from store ruins and mocked survivors caught up in the earthquake, the New Zealand Herald reported. [They have since removed the article and deny they ever published it!]

Amy Knowles, 16, a typical kiwi teenager.

She was visiting Christchurch when the earthquake struck last week.

“Stole Ice creams, got drunk and mished around seeing f***** up s***, earthquakes aren’t soooo bad,” she wrote.

“Haha people give me s*** about living in rangiora. F*** you all, i have power, water and can s*** and flush it.”

Other kiwis of the month: The kiwi landlords

No refunds for tenants who want out of properties

Some people renting houses and flats in earthquake-devastated Christchurch are getting little charity from landlords who want to lock them into leases and contracts.

One property investor told the New Zealand Herald said some people wanted “to pack up their luggage and leave the property owner with the mess. They just want to walk out.”

Nigel Lundy said some tenants were using the earthquake as an excuse to avoid their responsibilities.

Mr Lundy, manages 160 tenancies through his firm Metro Advances and said he would not allow any renters to break their contracts if their homes were still habitable. His company was charging six weeks rent as a break fee for those wanting out.

Tenant, Victoria Avilova, refused to pay the fee but while Mr Lundy relented, she lost her bond. She had been in the property for only four days before the earthquake and had signed a lease until October.

Mr Lundy said early leavers left landlords paying mortgages on vacant properties that generated no income.

He said property owners had lives and families and were not trying to make someone else suffer financially. NZPA

Anti-American Feelings Run High, Despite the Earthquake Help

Another disgruntled tenant , American exchange student Rosanna Cochran, was part of a group staying for around two months in Christchurch Central Apartments.

They prepaid their tenancy and had been their for four days when the earthquake struck.

Ms Cochran was evacuated to Wellington but the property’s owner, John Wally, refused a refund.

He said she was demanding and rude and wasted time in the middle of a crisis.

Real Estate Institute’s Canterbury branch head David Rankin, said landlords should not worry about filling accommodation as there would be a high demand for undamaged properties. NZPA
