Another Australian killed in New Zealand
An Australian man was killed when he reportedly fell in front of his wife and three children after a canyoning trip with his family near Queenstown on Monday.
“Senior Sergeant Paula Enoka, of Queenstown, said the man, 52, had been taking part in a canyoning trip with his family on Monday and had returned to base, between Glenorchy and Queenstown, when he fell and hit his head.”
He died in front of his three children, aged between 12 and 17 years, and his wife.
Canyoning Queenstown managing director Stefan Crawford blamed the death on “some sort of medical event”.
The victim’s wife said he did not have any pre-existing medical conditions. http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/75881208/melbourne-man-dies-in-front-of-family-after-adventure-trip-near-queenstown.html
