80-year-old admits road-murder of Swiss student Stefanie Von Bueren
Stefanie Von Bueren, a 32-year-old Massey University student from Switzerland, was just months away from completing her PhD in precision agriculture when she was mowed down by a near-blind woman, who shouldn’t have been allowed to drive a car.
The evil octogenarian, Dorothy Maude Isabelle Alley, struck and killed the Swiss student and injured her partner, Dylan Ball, on a pedestrian crossing in Palmerston North on August 25, 2014. She was not wearing glasses at the time – despite it being a condition
of her driver’s licence.
She had initially pleaded not guilty to the charges, which did not include…, but changed her pleas on Friday.
