Foreword: In New Zealand the choice of how/where/when we die is often decided for us.

What type of death do you want?
‘The tough question we all need to think about: what type of death do you want?’
In Australia, at least, you seem to have that luxury; in New Zealand, many don’t:
“We can talk about good deaths and bad deaths, cheating death or embracing it, but the one thing that we all seem to reach for is this: when we die, we want to do it our way.” http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-03-21/where-we-choose-to-die/7263154

DAY 95 of latest TOURISTS or truth? campaign in NZ
Truth hurts New Zealand tourism. The average tourist will not visit this country, if they knew true extent of the daily carnage on our deadly roads. Therefore:
About two-thirds of the road fatalities in New Zealand go unreported by our political police, or unrecorded by Ministry of Transport [“Minitru”.] This week there’s been a near total news censorship…
Censorship, news blackout and disinformation are serious threats to democracy, even one as fake and dysfunctional as ours!
About 2.7 million licensed drivers, half million or so unlicensed/unqualified drivers and more than one million tourists (per year) drive on New Zealand death roads.
More than half of the above drive a vehicle under the influence (illicit drugs, banned substances, prescription medication…), while intoxicated, fatigued or mentally unfit, resulting in inordinate numbers of fatalities and injuries. [Other factors for the carnage include deadly roads, road unworthy vehicles…]
[Heavily Doctored] Motor Vehicle Crashes in New Zealand 2014
- 268 fatal road crashes
- 295 deaths
- 8,614 injury crashes
- 11,219 people injured
- 405 deaths
- 2,531 serious injuries
- 11,920 less serious injuries
In 2002, according to the official data, there were:
- 404 deaths
- 5,200 hospitalisations
- 14,000 injuries
- 1.5 deaths per 10,000 vehicles
- 10 deaths per 100,000 population
- The cost to the taxpayers was more than $3.5 billion.
Based even on the government’s doctored data, there should be about 25 crashes today, resulting in 31 reportable injuries and at least one fatality.
Ministry of Transport (heavily doctored) Road Toll:
- Blog estimate: [About 900 people are killed on NZ roads each year.] Most probably, up to 203 road fatalities have occurred in NZ since 1 January 2016.
