At least EIGHT road kills and counting this weekend
The number of road fatalities reported [leaked] on Queen’s Birthday Weekend climbed to eight earlier this afternoon after a motorbike rider was killed in a collision with a car in Huntly, Waikato.
Also, at least another man, who had been flown to Wellington Hospital with critical injuries, following the crash near Mt Bruce, Wairarapa, reportedly died on Monday. http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/80772601/New-Zealand-roads-kill-eight-during-long-weekend
The manipulated road toll for previous years were as follows.
The Queen’s Birthday toll on 2012 was seven kills, and the released figure for 2009 was 10 fatalities. [Statistically, the road toll is 12 for the long weekend. ]
In 2013, the road toll during Queen’s Birthday Weekend was completely suppressed by the authorities. In fact, a strict campaign of news censorship by the police/government meant that only 253 road fatalities would be reported during the entire year.
Truth about the daily road carnage hurts New Zealand’s $10 billion tourism industry…
Today is DAY 1,720 of the NZ TOURISTS or truth? (police censorship of road fatalities) campaign
- Blog estimate: About 900 people are killed on NZ roads each year. [Most probably] up to 390 road fatalities have occurred in NZ since 1 January 2016
- No of road fatalities recorded by Minitru: 141 [as of Friday]
