The evil bastard should not be allowed to get away with harming protestors
Chester Borrows, the gangster, ex-policeman, and National Party MP for Whanganui, has been charged with careless use of a motor vehicle causing injury to two people after an incident at an anti-TPP protest.
“Mr Borrows intends to defend the charge and says he will be making no further comment as the matter is before the court,” he said in a statement.
“Under section 38 of the Land Transport Act, the maximum penalty for careless driving causing injury is three months’ jail, or a fine of up to $4500.”
However, Borrows fully intended to cause injury to the anti-TPP protesters when he drove his car at them.
Borrows’ first court appearance is on Tuesday 2 August in the Whanganui District Court.
