Only two of the three (or four) foreigners killed in Desert Road crash yesterday named
Two of the victims road-murdered in Desert Road crash Monday morning have been named.
Monalisa Alofaifo, 20, a Samoan national with New Zealand residency, and Twinkle Ansal, 21, an Indian national who was in the country on a student visa are the two victims named by police.
The car they were traveling in reportedly went out of control and collided with a 16-tonne truck carrying hazardous waste products.
The third victim, a woman from India, also in her 20s, has not been named
The driver, a 21-year-old man, originally from India, is said to be in a critical condition in Waikato Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit. [Blog moderators were unable to verify the police statement about the fourth victim.]
