Shock after public told no risk from mass murderer Ross Bremner, then three bodies found

Bremner, 34, had killed his mother and critically injured his father in a frenzied knife attack at their home in Otorohanga on Tuesday before fleeing.
At the time, Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Greene assured the community they were in no danger from him.

“We want to send a message to the community that police have taken steps to ensure all is being done to keep people safe while we investigate this matter.

“However, if any local person has any concerns, they should not hesitate to call police.”

On Sunday, Police Minister Judith Colllins said public safety was always a priority for police. “The advice offered to the public following the initial incident in Otorohonga was the best available, however this was a dynamic situation,” she said.

[Translation: Our retarded police force is incapable of doing anything right. And, of course, I’m paid to defend them, no matter how bad the stench of their fuckups.]
