A child is in critical condition after the car they were in with six others crashed into a power pole during a police chase in Whanganui Sunday night.
One of seven people in the car, the victim is reportedly aged between 11 and 16.

Young crash victims named
Police have named the two young people who were killed on Friday afternoon following a collision between two vehicles at Rakahouka, Southland.

Missing hunter found dead in Wairarapa
The body of a man who went missing in Tora Bush on Sunday has been located, police said. Victim’s name and nationality were not released. The cause of death also remains a mystery.
