Heavily Censored Police Road Fatality Reports:

  • NO vehicle-related fatality report allowed by police today, as of posting, despite at least 14 serious crashes that have been reported locally.
  • UPDATE – April 17 – reports of two road fatalities have since been withdrawn, or they have magically disappeared by themselves. [What are the chances of going with no road fatalities over 88 hours in April? About one in three million?]

Woman suffers facial and skull fractures during burglary at her home in Palmerston North

A 26-year-old woman arrived home around 10:40am to find her house being burgled. She was then assaulted and suffered facial and skull fractures.

Police say they have arrested a 35-year-old man following the assault which happened at a property on Keith Street, in Palmerston North, on Tuesday. http://www.police.govt.nz/news/release/arrest-following-serious-assault-palmerston-north

Teen suicide show reveals ‘gap in the law’ – Grim Censor

The Deputy Chief Censor [“Grim Censor”] is again calling for a law change to prevent “controversial programmes” being viewed online in our nanny state without being given a New Zealand rating first, said a report.

“Jared Mullen’s call comes as a Netflix series called 13 Reasons Why, depicting teen suicide and rape, has divided opinion on whether it should be allowed.

“The Mental Health Foundation has described the programme as irresponsible, unsafe and unethical, but teachers and young people said the programme was resonating with its target audience.”
