Three out of four of migrants arriving were non-New Zealand citizens

Some 130,400 migrants (many of them Chinese) arrived in NZ and 58,400 departed the country so far this year.

Meanwhile, a record 3.6 million tourists visited New Zealand in the year to May, leaving behind hundreds of thousands of tonnes of waste that NZ can’t cope with.

Police Road Fatality Reports [Extreme Censorship is in Effect for Commercial Reasons]

  • Wednesday (updated): ONLY one fatality report allowed by police, as of posting, despite at least 8 serious crashes reported locally.
  • Tuesday: No fatality report allowed by police, today, despite at least 9 serious crashes reported locally.
  • Monday: Only two road fatality reports were allowed by police, today, as of posting, despite at least 11 serious crashes reported locally.
  • Sunday: No fatality report allowed by police, despite at least 7 serious crashes reported locally.
  • Saturday: Only EIGHT road fatality reports were allowed by police, as of posting, despite at least 22 serious crashes reported locally.
    • At least three French tourists were killed.
    • The eight fatalities listed on Saturday log include one that occurred late Friday night.

At least one person was killed in a fatal collision involving two trucks on State Highway 1, Lichfield, at 2:15pm today, police said.

Serious crash near Edgecumbe [Bay of Plenty of Deaths and Serious Injuries]
A serious crash between two vehicles on Te Teko Road between Edgecumbe and Te Teko has left at least one person seriously injured. The seriously injured driver has been transported to Whakatane Hospital, police said.
