Two more women seriously injured in yet another police pursuit

Posted by te2ataria on January 6, 2018

Pathetic police’s contradictory statement would be laughable, but for the fact that two women were seriously injured…

Serious crash – Papakura
Friday, 5 January 2018 – 1:16pm – Counties Manukau

Please attribute to Inspector Dave Glossop, Counties Manukau South Area Commander:

At approximately 12.15pm today, police attempted to pull over a vehicle that was driving dangerously near Papakura Town Centre.  [Note: Reason for initiating the near-deadly pursuit was “driving dangerously”!]

It failed to stop for police and a short pursuit was initiated but quickly abandoned due to the offending vehicles [more than one vehicle involved?] reckless driving. [Note: Police allegedly abandoned pursuit due to “reckless driving”!]

The vehicle has then continued on, without being pursued [as falsely claimed by police after each pursuit] and crashed on Elliot Street, Papakura a short time later.

Two female passengers in the vehicle have received serious injuries and have been taken to Middlemore Hospital.

The driver attempted to flee the scene on foot but was apprehended and is now in Police custody.

Charges will be laid.

Firearms were located [just in case, this magic discovery will ensure police will threaten their way out of being sued for causing serious injuries!] in the vehicle and enquiries into this are ongoing.
