“Police are continuing to investigate the death of 28-year-old Aroha Kiwara, who was found deceased at a property on Dominion Road in Nawton, Hamilton, on Sunday 4 February.
“The scene examination and post mortem have been completed today and Police are now treating the death as a homicide.”

Enquiries into the murder of 16-year-old Amber-Rose Rush at a property on Clermiston Avenue last week continues, police said.

“Based on our enquiries so far, we would like to hear from anyone who may have been in the Blackhead Quarry or beach area between 11:30pm on Friday 2nd and 12:30am on Saturday 3rd of February.”

A 30-year-old “medical professional” has been charged with the murder of Amber-Rose Rush. He  was granted interim name suppression and remanded in custody by consent until he appears in the High Court on February 20, according to reports.
