UPDATE: Search for missing fishermen, Slope Point –police

Thursday, 31 January 2019 – 11:44am – Southern

“A coastal search for the two fishermen who went missing off rocks at Slope Point, near Bluff, on Sunday afternoon continues.

“Police are now in a position to name the two men. They are 23-year-old Shaun Orchard and 28-year-old Hendrix Kamo, both of Southland.  The families of the two men are being supported by Police and Victim Support.”

A 13-year-old boy was killed in a crash on Railway Road, Monday, January 21. Or, was it Monday 28 January?
The young victim was named as Joshua Mou, nationality/origin undisclosed.
But who was Jason “X”? Was he the victim killed on Monday, January 21, instead??

Police can now release the name of the 13-year-old boy killed in a crash on Railway Road, Monday 21 January.
He was Joshua Mou of Raureka.
Our thoughts are with the family and loved ones of Jason at this time.

“Police investigating a fatal motorcycle crash in Hamilton this evening are appealing for the public’s help. The crash occurred at the intersection of Enderley Avenue and Peachgrove Road, Claudelands about 6.25pm.”

UPDATE: Serious crash, Northland
Wednesday, 30 January 2019 – 8:07pm – Northland
“Police can now confirm one person has died in a crash at Ruakaka. The crash, involving three vehicles, occurred on State Highway 1 about 6.55pm.”
One person was killed and two others sustained injuries.
