Dr Banshee Cobleworth, who’s based at the University of Ortago, has researched the Anzac Pie and the folklore surrounding it.

She says, if you don’t want to enrich the Chinese economy, here’s a simple recipe to make your own at or near your home!

INGREDIENTS

Flaked oatmeal, or indeed anything else that your pooch would swallow!

METHOD:

Put dry ingredients into the dog bowl, add some water and let the mongrel eat the mix and produce the golden Anzac pies.
