Young Tongan man murdered on return to New Zealand

“Yesterday morning, about 4.40am, Police were called to a report of a shooting in Seaside Park, Otahuhu. Ambulance and Police located the victim, Samiuela Anania Tupou, who was critically injured and died at the scene,” police said.

Fatal crash, Hurunui
Friday, 24 May 2019 – 9:35pm (Canterbury)
A fatal crash occurred in the Hurunui District, Canterbury. Shortly after 8pm two vehicles collided on Culverden Road (SH 7), about 2km north of the Hurunui Hotel.
One person was killed and another has been taken to Christchurch Hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.

Friday, 24 May 2019 – 10:36pm (Counties Manukau)
A motorcyclist was killed in a crash with a ute in Pukekohe around 8:20pm Friday evening.
