Weekend road fatalities: 12 killed, but only four deaths reported by police…

… and three victims already resurrected by the Ministry!

At least 12 people were killed on our death roads between Thursday, June 20 and Sunday, June 23, according to police insiders.

However, only four fatality reports were made public by police. And three of those victims have already disappeared [statistically resurrected] from the Ministry of Resurrection’s road deaths list.

Monday, 24 June 2019 – 10:58am – Waikato
“Police can now confirm one person died following a single-vehicle crash in Hamilton yesterday. The crash occurred at the intersection of Forest Lake Road and Te Rapa Road about 5.55pm. The driver, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was taken to Waikato Hospital where she died late last night.”

Police appeal for information after pedestrian struck in Taupo
Saturday, 22 June 2019 – 7:51am – Bay of Plenty [of Deaths]
“Police are appealing for information after a woman was struck by a vehicle in Taupo late last night. The incident occurred on Richmond Avenue about 11.15pm, leaving the woman, 36, with critical injuries. She was flown to Waikato Hospital.

“Police are in attendance at an incident on Scenic Drive, Titirangi after a vehicle was reported down a bank. The sole occupant inside the vehicle has been located deceased inside the vehicle.”

Fatal crash, Otaika, Whangarei
Thursday, 20 June 2019 – 7:51am – Northland
“Police can confirm one person died in a single vehicle crash on Otaika Valley Rd, Otaika, Whangarei earlier this morning.  Police were alerted to the crash between Stunnell Road and Mulberry Lane shortly after 12am. One person died at the scene.”

“One person has died following the serious crash on Lawcocks Road, Amberley, today. The crash occurred when a car collided into a power pole around 2:25pm. The driver, who sadly died at the scene, was the sole occupant of the vehicle.”

“Police are currently at the scene of serious crash on Hindmarsh Street, Henderson following a collision between a car and pedestrian. It occurred at around 3.15pm near the intersection with Bruce McLaren Road. The pedestrian, a child, has been transported to Starship Hospital in a critical condition. ”

Emergency services are responding to a serious two-vehicle crash on Stanley Road South, Te Aroha, Matamata-Piako District. Police were alerted around 10.05am. Early indications are one person has received critical injuries and another serious injuries.  A helicopter has been dispatched from Tauranga.”

“Emergency services are responding to a serious crash in Marlborough. The single vehicle crash occurred on State Highway 6 at Okaramio about 12.35pm. Of the vehicle’s four occupants, two have sustained critical injuries. A helicopter is responding from Nelson.”
