‘Victory in Europe Day’: A Very Bloody Sad Farce

Victory in Europe (V-E) Day is the day celebrating the formal acceptance by the Allies of World War II of Nazi Germany’s unconditional surrender of its military forces on Tuesday, 8 May 1945, marking the end of World War II in Europe.

100 million people were killed, died of disease, or starved to death so that we could preserve “our way of life”?

“This was no ordinary war of divine-rule kings fighting for territory on a Europe soaked in the blood of centuries. It was an existential struggle for our way of life.” [REALLY?]

Our way of life:

  • Ecocide: Human Assault on Nature, Violence to Earth
  • Violence: War, Genocide, Rape, Torture
  • Denial of Human Rights: Racism, Modern Slavery, Forced Labor, Poverty, Food Insecurity
  • Sexual Depravity: Human Sex Trafficking, Sex Tourism, BDSM, Bestiality, Child Sex, The Olympic Orgy
  • Animal Cruelty: Animal Blood sport, Pouching

Estimated Carbon Footprint of the Postponed Tokyo Olympics

Tokyo Olympics carbon footprint is estimated at about 67 billion kg (67,000 kt) of GHGs.

“Staging the Olympics comes with a huge environmental footprint. Flying an estimated 28,500 athletes and staff to Brazil for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio generated more than 2,000 kilotonnes (kt) of greenhouse gases (GHG) — not to mention the 2,500 kt of GHGs associated with bringing in about half a million spectators.”

Flying the athletes and staff to Japan: 2,000 kilotonnes (kt) of GHGs

Japan’s government expects the “Olympics effect” will bring approximately an extra 10 million visitors to the country in 2020.

Tokyo 2020 Olympics: Expecting 920,000 spectators and workers per day (average travel of 100km traveled per person x 30 days x 80g/km of GHGs traveling on a combination of trains, buses, taxis and local flights): 220 kt of GHG [https://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-49349566]

Giving condoms to the Athletes to heighten global levels of sexual depravity

Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte told ESPN before the 2012 Summer Olympics “70 percent to 75 percent of Olympians” have sex at the Olympics, later adding: “My last Olympics, I had a girlfriend — big mistake. Now I’m single, so London should be really good. I’m excited.”

Condoms were first freely available at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea, in an effort to prevent the spread of HIV.

“The distribution of condoms continued from there, as tens of thousands of free condoms grew to a height of 450,000 condoms at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.”

Some 2,925 athletes from 92 countries set a record for the largest number of competitors in the 2018 Winter Olympics. Olympic athletes received a record-breaking 110,000 condoms, or more than 37 condoms per athlete — the most of any previous Winter Olympics — that year in PyeongChang.

For the Japan Olympics to be permanently cancelled, Tokyo must undergo a significant or complete paralysis. We propose including the projection in the ongoing Vigil.
