Couple froze to death near summit of Mt Taranaki: Police
A Japanese climber and his partner died in a snow cave near the summit of Mt Taranaki.
Hiroki Ogawa, 31, and Nicole Sutton, 29, froze to death on the 2,520-metre-high mountain, NZ police confirmed on Monday.
“Ms Sutton lived through the night but passed away in the arms of rescue staff shortly after they arrived at 7.30am,” according to a report.
“I knew he would look after my daughter really well”
Ms Sutton’s parents had hoped she and Mr Ogawa would eventually marry and Mr Sutton said he knew the 31-year-old “would look after my daughter really well”.
At least 80 people have died on Mt Taranaki in recent times, however, the 3,754-metre Aoraki Mt Cook in the South Island, New Zealand’s highest, remains the deadliest with more than 200 deaths.

The title of article posted below should have been
“How the police state has made two-thirds of young NZers suicidal”
Those of you who read this blog regularly may recall previous headlines like “NZers are among the happiest nation in the world [despite having the highest suicide rates in the world,]” and so forth…
As for the other one-third, they join the police force or the military, kill a few brown people at home or murder in cold blood a dozen women and kids in Iraq, Afghanistan … , and then commit suicide.
Here’s the article:
Nearly two thirds of young kiwis depressed
By: Bruce Russell| Newstalk ZB| Sunday September 8 2013 14:58
Nearly two-thirds of young New Zealanders are showing signs of depressed mood.
Recent results from the New Zealand Sovereign Wellbeing index have revealed the need to improve our wellbeing by encouraging a flourishing community.
University of Canterbury lecturer Tracy Clelland says the country rates very poorly compared with most European countries, particularly in the area of connecting with others in the neighbourhood.
“Things like more local events where people can come together, just making sure you knock on the door of the neighbour’s house, just making sure you know who your neighbours are.”
The theme for Mental Health Awareness Week next month is connecting with others.

- China has stopped all milk powder imports from New Zealand.
- Russia has banned all goods made by Fonterra.

New Zealand to export more cow manure to Chile by outsourcing additional milk production!
“New Zealand’s intensive farming industries produce 4 times more manure than they could safely use as fertilizer. The leftover is discharged or washed off into NZ coastal waters.“

Fonterra can become the biggest dairy exporter in the world by outsourcing more of its milk production, says John Key!!
To that end, Chileans are being hoodwinked by the NZ Prime Minister to produce more milk for the dairy giant.
Fonterra produces 17 billion litres of milk a year in New Zealand and buys an additional 5 billion liters “to produce product in other countries like Chile to process and export to a third country,” according to a report by Newstalk ZB.
“We’re already producing five billion offshore, that number could grow dramatically and all of a sudden Fonterra becomes not just a large dairy company on a worldwide scale it potentially becomes the global champion and the biggest in the world,” said the PM.

Two English tourists left with only swimsuits
“Dream trip” to New Zealand for Ben Horner and Claire Barham, both 25, turns into the usual New Zealand nightmare.
“Two English tourists were left with only the swimsuits they were wearing after returning from a swim in Taupo to find their van and possessions stolen,” according to a report.
“We’ve just been upset. It’s hard to enjoy anything at the moment,” said Mr Horner.
“It hasn’t tainted our view of New Zealand because since it’s happened we’ve met some people who have been incredible to us.”
Well, stick around another couple of weeks, and who knows … you might easily join more serious statistics!

Sexually transmitted infection (STI) rates continue to rise in New Zealand
100 percent pure STIs: Clinical surveillance figures show a five per cent increase in chlamydia and gonorrhoea rates and a massive surge of 68 percent in the incident rate of syphilis in New Zealand over the last quarter.
One in three people in New Zealand get STIs, according to Family Planning national medical advisor Dr Christine Roke, and many would not even realize it.
“Roke said antibiotic resistance had meant higher doses were needed in treating some infections, but the main problem was the rate of undiagnosed infections out there at any one time,” according to a report.

“The document [posted at http://bit.ly/ourNZexperience] contains comments on our experiences from a large number of experts in NZ and around the world – over 30 professors and doctorates, NZ MPs, psychologists, members of the House of Commons and the House of Lords. The universal reaction to these NZ atrocities is horror and outrage. One MP in the House of Commons is so incensed that he submitted the above document to a UK parliamentary select committee.
“To date no-one has been held to account for these atrocities.”

The Air New Zealand “Bereavement Service”
So many tourists are killed in New Zealand that our national air carrier, Air New Z-land is now offering a special “bereavement service” for the victims’ families.
“They also singled out the service provided by Air New Zealand as part of their bereavement policy. From the moment both couples checked in at Los Angeles International Airport, Air New Zealand ensured they were “red tagged” right through to Auckland Airport and fast-tracked through Customs with the help of the New Zealand Police,” according to a report.

New Zealand is a source of underage girls for the sex trade and a destination for foreign workers subjected to forced labour: The U.S. State Department
The report calls the sex trafficking in New Zealand and the country’s use of forced labour as 21st century slavery.
“A small number of girls and boys, often of Maori or Pacific Island descent, are trafficked domestically to engage in street prostitution while some are victims of gang-controlled trafficking rings.”
New Zealand does not have effective anti-trafficking laws and does not criminalise all forms of forced labour, the State Department report says.
Women from China and South East Asia “may be recruited from their home countries by labor agents for the purpose of prostitution and may be at risk of coercive practices,” says the report.
“Although slavery is prohibited, its definition only covers situations of debt bondage and serfdom; thus, this prohibition does not cover forced labor obtained by means other than debt, law, custom, or agreement that prohibits a person from leaving employment.”

Czech tourist murdered in a South Canterbury forestry block
The female body found in a South Canterbury forestry block is that of 31-year-old Czech tourist, Dagmar Pytlickova, also known as Dasha, police said.
Czech tourist Dagmar Pytlickova, 31, was the 2,482nd foreigner to be murdered/killed in New Zealand since January 2000.
“Formal identification has yet to be completed but we are confident it is Dasha,” an investigating policeman said.
A second body found nearby in the forestry area was identified as missing Waimate man Jason Frandi, a 43-year-old convicted sex offender, police added.
Police told media on Tuesday afternoon it was likely Ms Pytlickova had been abducted and driven to a remote area where Mr Frandi attempted to have sex with her and then a struggle followed, according to NZ Newswire.
However, police has not revealed how or why Jason Frandi was killed. Was it suicide? Were other parties involved?
On average, 3 foreigners are murdered/killed in New Zealand every 4 days.

Desperate kiwifruit growers inject their crops with the antibiotic streptomycin
Kiwifruit growers from Te Puke region have admitted illegally injecting their crops with the antibiotic streptomycin in order to stop the spread of PSA bacteria.
“… farmers that are illegally using streptomycin are injecting it into the vines at a much later stage which means that the fruit will contain residues.” University of Canterbury toxicology professor Ian Shaw told APNZ.
The illegal use of streptomycin also had the potential to create antibiotic-resistant bacteria, he said.
About 94 per cent of kiwifruit produced in New Zealand is exported. In 2009, the kiwifruit export volume topped 365,000 tonnes, worth NZ$1.304 billion.
The outbreak of PSA bacteria, which was first discovered on New Zealand kiwifruit orchards in November 2010, has so far cost the industry about $900 million.
A large number of New Zealanders won’t touch their national fruit with a bargepole!
