The Really Gross Visitors Who Fly to New Zealand

Posted by te2ataria on November 17, 2009

Sent by a reader

Air travel is a significant source of the greenhouse gas emissions that are contributing to the global climate change…

The visitors who fly to New Zealand are directly responsible for the greenhouse gas emissions and are therefore committing eco-terrorism.

The atrocities committed by the foreign visitors do NOT stop there. [Some of their destructive activities are cataloged on this blog. Moderator.]

So you would expect these people to be really gross and depraved individuals. And they are!

Meet Lisa Lutz, a 19-year-old female tourist.

Throw the Rabbit: Event organizer Barry Woods flings a rabbit at his Waitomo event. Photo:  Amanda Roobottom. Image may be subject to copyright.

She and a dozen or so others gathered in Waitomo on Sunday to throw rabbits.

The really sick organizer Barry Woods commented:

“Basically this was a stand against the PC brigade who think there is something wrong with what goes on in the real world.”

Yes Socrates, like war, murder, rape … and rabbit-throwing.

Then he put his environmentalist hat on his demented head:
“Why shouldn’t kids be able to see how it’s done, handle a dead animal and learn about pests which destroy the environment?”

“Miss Lutz won a trip for two on the Waitomo Riverjet and a $100 meal voucher for her throwing ability but admits to being embarrassed about the win. ‘I couldn’t believe it, I just laughed. It was very funny.’” Maryanne Twentyman of Waikato Times reported.

Let’s hope the jetboat does a Chinese somersault. EoF.

A European/UK couple on a return flight to NZ produce more CO2 than in EIGHT years of driving.

On a return flight from the United States to New Zealand, each visitor produces about 7.4 metric tons of CO2e pollution [11.1 metric tons of CO2e if flying from the US Atlantic coast]; a UK visitor produces about 17.64 metric tons of CO2.

[Note: Driving an average passenger car in the US over a year, traveling 12,500 miles (20,112 km), which burns about 581 gallons (2,200 liters) of gasoline, produces about 11,450 pounds (5.2 metric tons) of carbon dioxide. A couple on a return flight from the US to NZ produce as much CO2 as driving their car for about THREE years! A European/UK couple on a return flight to NZ produce more CO2 than in EIGHT years of driving.]

Unfortunately, three American tourists were last seen visiting the exact spot on Wellington’s Mount Victoria, where F**king “Frodo from Lord of the Rings stood looking troubled.”

Saatchi and Saatchi, the vampires of commercialism, with their corny slogans and downright dishonest tricks on “selling” New Zealand, are back, again, on the government payroll: “Our remoteness is our strength.” [Recall George Orwell’s famous slogan perpetuated by The Party: “War is Peace; Freedom is Slavery; Ignorance is Strength.” ]

No Saatch & Saatch! That is false.

Your remoteness means 17.6 metric tons of CO2 pollution produced per UK visitor.

What’s So Fishy about this Dolphin Story?

Posted by te2ataria on October 23, 2009

What Next, NZ Police Swapping Dead Americans?

First they were married; then barely engaged. One second she was alive;  the next she was dead floating face down on water.

One second she was alive and well, as healthy as a healthy 27-year-old woman can be; almost exactly 5 seconds later she was so dead she was floating face down on the water. Even immediate CPR couldn’t revive her.

In How NZ’s Dolphin Watch EcoTours Make Dolphins Hate Humans

You read: A 27-year-old American woman was killed today while swimming with dolphins in Tory Channel in the Marlborough Sounds, South island, New Zealand.

Local police said the woman was on a ‘Dolphin Watch EcoTours’ trip with her family. She was swimming among dolphins when other swimmers noticed she was floating face down.

Police is on record as reporting that she was traveling with her husband and his mother.

Meanwhile the police, acting in their capacity as the “caring attorneys” for Dan Engelhaupt, the owner of  Dolphin Watch EcoTours, prevented their “client” from making a statement to the press.

The locals, whose livelihood depends on causing stress to the dolphins, declared their interests, too:

Arrow Water Taxis owner operator Paul Quinn said operators in the area were right behind Mr and Mrs Engelhaupt.

Soon, help arrived from the government:

Provisional autopsy findings from Christchurch coroner Sue Johnson indicate the woman, 27, died of natural causes rather than drowning. Further test results were expected in a few weeks.

Wouldn’t it be a damn shame if the body was cremated by mistake!

Then came reports of the unusual request:

Her family, including her husband and his mother who were travelling with her, asked police not to release the woman’s name.[Actually, it was probably the police trying to figure out what to do next]:

The next day, everything changed:

An America tourist is grieving after the girlfriend who accepted his proposal of marriage died 24 hours later while swimming with dolphins.

Could we also know who the victim was?

Emily May Harper, 27, from Denver, Colorado, is thought to have died from natural causes as she swam in Tory Channel in the Marlborough Sounds on Tuesday.

What about her husband?

Actually, the police lied. Because in the latest version of the story, she wasn’t even married.

Oh!

Her boyfriend Matthew Hawkins proposed to her on Monday and she said ‘yes’.

Mr Hawkins said yesterday he believed his girlfriend was fit and healthy.

And here’s rest of the latest version of this sad love story:

Their last night together was memorable for all the right reasons, he told The New Zealand Herald.

He said they had been walking together at Picton Harbour, watching the lights reflecting off the water.

“I came up to her from behind and gave her a hug, and I said to her, ‘We should get married’. And she said, ‘What, are you serious?’ And I said, ‘Yeah, I think I am’. And then she said, ‘Yes, absolutely’.”

He said he had planned to ask her two days later and she never saw the ring he had bought because it was with his mother.

“I meant to ask her in Auckland, but the setting was just perfect.”

Next morning, the pair sailed out into the Marlborough Sounds with Mr Hawkins’ mother Sandra and brother Andrew on a Dolphin Watch Ecotours vessel.

He said she loved animals and wildlife and was very excited about the dolphin encounter.

“Emily kept giving me a thumbs-up signal while she was in the water.

“I took my eyes off Emily for barely a second, and I saw someone face down in the water.”

He said CPR began immediately but she could not be revived.

Kippah and Toupée Cabinet Plan Final Assault

Posted by te2ataria on August 31, 2009

sent by a reader in NY [Edited by TEAA]

“$100 billion of untapped minerals,” that’s how the international money cartel sees New Zealand

“Stocktaking minerals” on Crown-owned conservation land was a “long way away” from mining the land, says PM of New Zealand, John Key.

Gerry Brownnose, NZ’s Energy and Resources Minister announced last week that the [Kippah and Toupée] government was planning to stocktake mineral resources in conservation land, which are supposed to be protected under the Crown Minerals Act.

The untapped minerals are reportedly worth about US$100 billion, some 70 percent of which are buried under conservation land.

“We certainly have no intention of digging up the Crown’s conservation estate. This is a stocktake, which is perfectly reasonable,” Mr Brownnose said.

Mr Key, too, has started his sales pitch saying  concessions were sometimes given for mining on conservation land.

“Under modern mining techniques it’s not these big open cast wounds on the landscape that results, it’s a surgical incision in the land,” Key told NewstalkZB.

“Some of these debates [about mining] are a little ahead of themselves.

“Let’s just understand what’s there.”

Paul Majurey, a lawyer acting for Marutuahu iwi confederation, said the stocktake had Treaty implications.

“Tribes have claims over conservation land and mineral wealth but the assets had not been on the negotiating table before, he told the New Zealand Herald.” NZPA reported

“Any commercialisation could change that.”

“When we finally get a chance to negotiate with the Crown those are two big-ticket items that are going to be on the table.” Majurey said.

The Curse of the curse of Hinenui-te-pō is keeping tourists away from New Zealand

Inordinate numbers  of murders, road deaths, rapes, serious assaults, muggings and viral disease epidemics are keeping tourists away from New Zealand

“If you look at numbers out of places like Japan, Korea and China there has been quite a significant reduction in arrivals in the last month or so, it is down about 50 percent,” said John Key, New Zealand CEO [PM.]

key - tourism minister
John Key, the owner of the biggest nose in NZ, who has been appointed both as PM and Tourism Minister said:  “The tourism industry is being hurt by swine flu as travelers in some countries put holidays on hold.”

And if you ever wondered whether Aussies are intelligent people, here is your answer:

“The one millionth Australian visitor is a major milestone for the New Zealand tourism industry and a great achievement given the challenges being faced at the moment.”

[So it’s more than one challenge, challenges, and NOT just the swine flu, you dishonorable b*stard!]

The blog Moderator and contributors sincerely hope that they have been successful in their efforts, warning foreign visitors, especially the Asians,to avoid New Zealand.

British MPs, binge-CO2 pollution and NZ call girls

Posted by te2ataria on April 5, 2009

British MPs, binge-CO2 pollution and “high-class” call girls

Seven &^%$#@ British MPs spent £70,000 ($NZ180,000) of the UK taxpayers money on binge-CO2 pollution flying to New Zealand to investigate binge-drinking in this country.

The members of the Commons Health Committee, clearly no affiliation with the Common Sense Committee, flew business-class to Auckland, then on to Wellington to find out how New Zealand’s health service coped with binge drinkers, Britain’s Mail on Sunday reported.

The MPs spent up to five nights in expensive hotels, and at least two of them arranged for “high-class” call girls to meet them in their hotel rooms, according to an informed source who revealed this information on the condition of anonymity. “The committee was given approval to travel to New Zealand as part of an inquiry into patient safety in the national health system.” The report said.

“But their brief was broadened to look at how alcohol and binge-drinking affected people’s health and the national health service.”

Presumably, their brief also included a study of paid sex addiction, but they forgot to mention it!

New Zealand Lamb Week

Posted by te2ataria on February 6, 2009

Submitted by a reader

Why did 63 percent of all British households abstained from eating New Zealand lamb in 2008?

Because they are smarter than the other 37 percent who consumed the tainted meat.

  • New  Zealand exported about 100,000 tonnes of lamb to the UK last year, which was 44 percent of NZ lamb sold to EU countries, and constituted 32 percent share of the British retail lamb market.
  • In 2008, 20 percent of New Zealand’s total sheepmeat exports went to the UK; about 37 percent of all British households bought New Zealand lamb.
  • EU buys45 percent of New Zealand sheepmeat exports (425,000 tonnes) and accounts for 62 percent of its earnings from export lambs.
  • New Zealand exports about 1.1 million metric tons of lamb, mutton, veal and beef each year (and perhaps as much in processed meat products).

Spiderlamb … this New Zealand six-day-old lamb has three extra limbs and uses five to walk on, it is also a hermaphrodite and has part of its bowel missing.

A seven-legged lamb was born in New Zealand. Is there a link between the mutant lamb and hundreds of thousands of tons of toxic chemicals dumped in New Zealand? It’s high time for New Zealand government to tell the truth and reveal the exact locations of their chemical dumps, especially the areas where they have buried thousands of tons of “leftover” Agent Orange! [Source: FEWW]

Agent Orange was manufactured in New Zealand from about 1962 until 1987. Dioxin has a 30-year envelop and its effects would continue to poison the people and environment until at least 2017.

Why consuming New Zealand meat products is abhorrent, detestable, immoral and  a crime against nature

1. Committing Eco-Terrorism – Dead Zones

The pressure in New Zealand to produce food for export has turned the country into a giant sewage dump. “Hundreds of millions of tons of agricultural waste and farm runoffs are discharged into the lakes and coastal waters, and millions of tons of methane gas are released to the environment each year.” Extensive dead zones regularly appear off the coasts of New Zealand. Both  NZ and Australia are major sources of industrial agriculture as well as sheep and cattle factory farming. “New Zealand cattle and sheep also produce methane emissions equivalent to 33 million tons of carbon dioxide each year.

New Zealand is the size of Colorado yet it hosts up to 94 million farm animals (livestock excluding poultry), which discharge an estimated 300 million tons of effluent to the environment each year. New Zealand’s intensive animal industries produce about 4 times more manure than they could safely use as fertilizer. [The leftover is discharged or washed off into NZ coastal waters.] An excerpt from: Truth About ‘100% Pure New Zealand’ Advertising Campaign

Quotes from: FEWW and PRO

2. Committing Eco-Terrorism – Climate Change

Shipping Millions of tons of meat and meat products around the world has its consequences. It helps accelerates the climate change and reduces the chances of human survival. (The author is aware of the false calculation—pathetic excuses—made by Lincoln ‘University’ concerning the carbon footprint of their export meat).

3. Healthy Eating

New Zealand lamb is reportedly grass-fed. The soil in many areas of the country is contaminated with heavy metals, lethal chemicals and carcinogenic agents like dioxin. Let’s hope consuming NZ meat is not your idea of healthy eating. “Young people in the 10 to 14-year age group were more likely to die of cancer and a range of diseases which afflict various sites and systems of the body (nervous system, sense organs and endocrine system).” New Zealand Statistics reported. A direct relationship between the poisoned food and young deaths cannot be ruled out.

“Unsustainable industrial and farming activities [have resulted] in chemical contamination of soil, air and water. Arsenic, copper, DDT, dieldrin and lead are the lethal legacy of decades of unsustainable agriculture. Successive governments have advocated for the use of toxic pesticides in New Zealand. [Administrator] Officials assured New Zealanders these pesticides were safe, even in the face of evidence that showed otherwise. Some persistent pesticides, like endosulphan, are still allowed, creating the contaminated sites of the future.” ~ Green Party of Aotearoa NZ

A former top official for the manufacturers has confirmed that the leftover Agent Orange was buried in secret toxic waste dumps: “We bulldozed big pits and dumped thousands of tonnes of chemicals there.” http://www.safe2use.com/ca-ipm/01-05-05.htm

4. Food Hygiene

Food hygiene is non-existent in New Zealand. The country  has the lowest levels of food hygiene and safety in the industrialized countries. [See Health Warnings for more information. TEAA]

Green Part of NZ recently reported:

Much of New Zealand food is “contaminated with disease-causing bacteria and viruses as a result of over-crowded factory farming conditions and unhygienic processing plants.”

“New Zealand has the highest rates of Campylobacter food poisoning in the developed world, nearly 3 times higher than the next highest countries, England and Wales, and 10 times higher than America and Canada.”

“An extraordinary 75,000 New Zealanders [nearly 2 percent of their population] are affected by Campylobacter food poisoning every year.” [See report highlights.]

5. Cruelty to Animals

New Zealand lamb reaches your dining table only after the poor animals have been routinely abused and tortured, before they are finally put out of their misery and slaughtered. There have been numerous reports of lamb and sheep, among other farm animals, being sexually assaulted by New Zealanders. See also Cruel Wool from Barbaric New Zealand.

6. Economic Treason

NOT eating locally? Consuming produce that has traveled halfway across the world to reach your table? Make no mistake. You are committing economic treason against your country. What sort of citizen destroys her own farming, retailing …  thus jeopardizing her countries  economic security?

To British consumers:

By buying New Zealand meat (and other products from that country, or other distant countries) you are committing not only a double act of eco-terrorism against our planet, but multiple acts of economic treason against your fellow Britons (and other EU citizens).

Visitor Health Warning: Elevated Risk of Leptospirosis Infection in New Zealand

Posted by te2ataria on June 25, 2008

New Zealand Deadly Infections Syndrome (NZDIS), Health Bulletin # 14. Elevated Risk of Human Leptospirosis Infection June 25, 2008

New Zealand: KEEP OUT!

New Zealand has the highest rates of human leptospirosis in the developed world, according to a new study.

The disease, which is passed to humans through the urine of sheep, cattle, pigs, rodents and deer, attacks the kidneys and liver and can cause death.

Meat workers, inspectors, farmers and veterinarians are among the most common occupationally exposed groups.

A meat worker died from the disease, and an increase in the number of cases of leptospirosis in meat workers in Hawke’s Bay has been reported.

Massey University’s veterinarian Jackie Benschop said in the last 20 years there had been a big push to vaccinate dairy cattle and pigs against leptospirosis, but exposure from deer, beef cattle and sheep was also high.

“Our results add weight to the hypothesis that sheep are an important source of leptospiral infections to humans.” (Source)

This scanning electron micrograph (SEM) depicts a number of Leptospira sp. bacteria atop a 0.1. µm polycarbonate filter. Leptospires are long, thin motile spirochetes that may be free-living or associated with animal hosts and survive well in fresh water, soil, and mud in tropical areas. Organisms are antigenically complex, with over 200 known pathogenic serologic variants. Molecular taxonomic studies at CDC and elsewhere have identified 13 named and 4 unnamed species of pathogenic leptospires. Leptospirosis causes a wide range of symptoms, and some infected persons may have no symptoms at all. Symptoms of leptospirosis include high fever, severe headache, chills, muscle aches, and vomiting, and may include jaundice (yellow skin and eyes), red eyes, abdominal pain, diarrhea, or a rash. (Source: phil.CDC.gov)

Leptospirosis Data

  • In New Zealand meat workers are one of the occupations most at risk of contracting leptospirosis, comprising 30 percent of notifications in 2006
  • Infection can result in severe illness and in some cases death.
  • During 2003-2005 leptospirosis resulted in 207 hospitalisations
  • The majority of cases of leptospirosis are relatively mild and may be misdiagnosed as influenza.
  • The true incidence of leptospirosis is probably many times the reported incidence.
  • Leptospira species have many animal hosts including the main livestock species, wildlife and rodents.
  • An NZ slaughterhouse survey in lambs found 59 percent of lines had one or more carcasses with antibodies to two of the strains of leptospirosis – hardjo-bovis or pomona.
  • Leptospirosis occurs more frequently in humans in NZ than in any other country where it is notifiable.
  • Beef herds exposure to hardjo-bovis and pomona is high with prevalence estimates over 50 percent for serovar hardjo-bovis.
  • A survey of 110 deer farms found hardjo-bovis was present on 61 percent.
  • A slaughter-house survey in lambs found 49 percent of lines had one or more carcasses with titres to either hardjo-bovis, pomona or both
  • There is evidence that clinical disease in sheep and deer is emerging with morbidity and mortality in lambs and weaners. (Source)

A Definition of Eco-terrorism:

“An act that terrorizes other species and threatens the ecological systems of the planet.” ~ Paul Watson

“After warfare, tourism [euphemistically eco-tourism,] is the most destructive human activity.” ~ EDRO

“Eco-tourism, like plague, destroys everything in its path.” ~ a concerned reader

More Eco-Terrorism in Antarctica

Posted by feww on February 28, 2008

The critters who commit acts of eco-terrorism (the tourists and the tourism industry) need urgent rehabilitation. And if that fails, they should be put behind bars for the rest of their wretched lives to protect the environment.

“BUENOS AIRES, Nov 23 (IPS) – The second accident this year involving a cruiseliner in the Antarctic is alarming the countries that protect and conserve the frozen continent, which are persisting in their demands for penalties in cases of disasters that cause pollution.”

“Mariano Mémoli, the head of the National Antarctic Directorate at the Argentine Foreign Ministry, told IPS “we are extremely concerned by the frequency of these accidents, but the other countries, which are also alarmed, are taking their time about signing laws to defend the environment.”

“[T]he M/S Explorer, a tourist cruise ship, collided with an iceberg close to the South Shetland Islands, north of the Antarctic Peninsula, shortly after five a.m. on Friday. The 154 people on board, passengers and crew, were taken off in lifeboats and inflatable dinghies, and the damaged ship was left listing at an angle of 45º.”

“… The liner was carrying 185 tons of fuel, and the first assessments agreed that towing it would be risky and costly.” (!)

“Mémoli said that the diesel oil carried by the cruiser is a light fuel, most of which will evaporate, but the residue is highly toxic and soluble in water. “This is an area of high biological value, with penguins, seals, elephant seals, and a range of fish and bird species,” he said.”

“The ship, 73 metres in length and with a beam of 14 metres, flies the Liberian flag. It was built in Finland and is operated by GAP Adventures, a Canadian tourist company.”

“Most of the passengers, who paid an average 8,000 dollars for the cruise, were from the UK, the Netherlands, the U.S. and Australia.” Read more …
