More Slaughter on NZ Roads, More Earthquakes,”Mass Exodus,” Unrelenting Mayhem, Wild Weather and Deaths

Deaths and Mayhem on New Zealand Roads

[At least] fifty four people have been killed on Central District roads so far this year – more than any other police district in New Zealand.

The next highest road toll is in Bay of Plenty, where 49 people had died before December 15, followed by Waikato with 48 and Canterbury with 46. Despite a record low of 40 deaths in 2008, last year was the highest in recent history with 59 people dying on Central District roads, which include Palmerston North, Whanganui and New Plymouth.”

[NOTE: The above figures are boiled down to at least one-third of the actual death toll on New Zealand Roads.]

‘Horror’ Highway Collision, At Least 12 hospitalised

Three people are in very critical condition and at least five others are said to be in critical condition in Hawke’s Bay Hospital after a “horror” smash between a bread truck and several  cars on State Highway 2.  At least 12 people were rushed to hospital.

Tourists from Italy, Germany and Uruguay are among the critically injured victims.

Latest quake more violent than first [But Magnitude Misreported as 4.9 quake]

Violent ground-shaking in central Christchurch during the Boxing Day earthquake exceeded that of the September 4 quake.

‘Mass exodus’ from Christchurch

Hundreds of Christchurch families who are  too frightened to remain in the city after the latest earthquakes are seeking refuge in Timaru.

Wild Weather New Zealand

Gale force winds are wreaking havoc around the lower North Island, bringing down power lines, trees and causing structural damage.

Rain and wind has closed roads, cut power and forced campers to abandon their tents across the top of the South Island this morning.

A number of roads in the Marlborough, Nelson and West Coast regions have been closed because of surface flooding and slips.

Holidaymakers face 8-hour traffic jams north and south of Auckland

Body found in a smouldering fire

The body, which was discovered south of Hamilton, “had been extensively burnt,” however the exact cause of death is not determined.

Brazilian one of Two Foreigners Killed Since Friday

Posted by te2ataria on January 10, 2010

At least two more foreigners have been killed in New Zealand since Friday, January 8

Anderson Luiz Dos Santos, 32, a Brazilian national was killed in a crash near Queenstown on Friday evening.

Mr Santos sustained critical injuries after a head-on collision on State Highway 6 near the Shotover bridge, about 5pm Friday. It’s not known whether he would have survived had the emergency services responded earlier, or the emergency personnel been more competent.

He died shortly after he was eventually taken to Lakes District Hospital.

Meanwhile, a 30-year-old man was killed after the motorcycle he was riding was struck by a car on Coromandel bridge on State Highway 25, near south of Tairua, about 11:30am.

His name has not yet been released, until his next of kin who live overseas are informed, police said.

8. NZ Govt Doctors 2009 Road Toll [as expected]

Posted by te2ataria on January 5, 2010

True No. of People Killed in NZ as a Result of Road Crashes in 2009 : At least 1,009 deaths [probably as many as 1,205]

The heavily doctored  figures “provisional 2009 road toll,”  supplied by NZ police farce:  384 deaths (!)

The heavily doctored figures are meant to confirm a down trend [sic]  in the number of deaths on New Zealand roads, in spite of the fact that the incidents of drunk-driving and drugged-driving in this country have multiplied by a combined factor of 12 folds.

In fact, you were Twice More Likely to Get Killed in NZ in 2009-10. See Drink-drive offences up 50 percent.

It’s frightening how murderously irresponsible the authorities are in this country. As of May 23, 2009, according to the blog’s carefully monitored estimates, at least 370 people had been killed on New Zealand roads since the start of 2009. Many more were injured, some near fatally, but their fates remain unknown.

To believe the official road toll is tantamount to believing that between May 23 and December 31, 2009 only 14 people were killed on New Zealand roads.

There’s carefully orchestrated campaign by the government and media not only to hide the truth from  the public, but to lie and manipulate the reality.

How could you believe a single statement made by the government?

Killed in New Zealand: 2nd Dutch National in 3 Days

Posted by te2ataria on November 10, 2009

Second Dutch National Killed in New Zealand in 3 Days

A 29-year-old Dutch national was killed in a 2-vehicle head-on collision north of Greymouth, New Zealand this morning.

Police earlier identified the victim of New Zealand Death Roads and defective vehicles as Helene Roosen.

Ms Roosen wrote in her on-line travel blog that she left Holland in 2007 to travel the world. She managed to stay alive in various places for two years, until arriving in Westport, New Zealand in August 2009, where her NZ Death Clock finally stopped.

Ms Roosen was reportedly applying for New Zealand residency, which she’ll no longer need.

It’s believed that her car went out of control on State Highway 6 at Rapahoe at about 8.20am, colliding head-on with a truck. She suffered fatal head and internal injuries in the “full frontal” impact crash and died at the scene, police said.

A Foreigner is Murdered/Killed in New Zealand Every Two Days  (9-year average)

One of the boys again, right?

Posted by te2ataria on July 17, 2009

Police Photo of the Day:  Must be one of the boys again!

Apparently, not this time, but you sure made a hash of dealing with the curious crowds. Say, how many of you nincompoop b*stards does it take to photograph the scene of an accident?

Rubberneckers add to crash chaos, an incompetent police farcer said. The crash scene was bad enough, without the added stress caused by the public, he added. [You must have felt like shooting a few of them in the head, right?]. Photo: WAIKATO TIMES. Image may protected by copyright laws.
