Ship’s captain arrested after trouble berthing ship

An incident involving an intoxicated ship’s captain has occurred at Port Northland – Marsden Point, police said.

“Police helped the Maritime Safety Unit by breath testing the captain of the Shansi – a 40,000 tonne logging ship – who appeared intoxicated.
“A pilot, who was assisting the docking of the ship, thought the captain of the ship appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and contacted Maritime NZ, who asked Whangarei Police to assist.
“The ship’s captain, a 53-year-old Englishman from Devon, blew what was described as an exceptionally high reading.
“The limit for a ‘seafarer’ is 250 micrograms of alcohol per litre of breath and carries a 12 month term of imprisonment or a $10,000 fine.
“He was subsequently arrested and charged with an offence under the Maritime Transport Act 1994 s40c – contravenes specified breath or blood-alcohol limit.  http://www.police.govt.nz/news/release/ships-captain-arrested-after-trouble-berthing-ship

Corrupt Government

Did you know Peter Thiel screwed the NZ taxpayers out of tens of millions of dollars, while sodomizing corrupt NZ government ministers, and got a preferential citizenship, too?

Beware of Extreme Bad Karma!

At least 4,000 overseas visitors, international students, foreign workers, recent emigrants and refugees have lost their lives and more than 24,000 others seriously injured in New Zealand between Jan 2000 and Jan 2017. All those Kiwis who remain silent are complicit in the mass killing of foreigners.

Karma boomerangs in mysterious ways!

People living in Wellington, Christchurch, Auckland, Tasman Bay and Hawke’s Bay regions are either very brave, or extremely stupid. Then again, karma returns in mysterious ways!

Sudden Death [NZ euphemism for suicide]

Farmer of the Year who died suddenly was a fifth-generation farmer

“Paul Butch’ Renton, 54, who with wife of 27 years Marie accepted the 2017 Farmer of the Year title at the Hawke’s Bay Primary Sector Awards just four months ago, was found dead on Wednesday morning at Glenmore Station, the Mangatahi property west of Hastings on which he grew up.”

“Glenmore Station has been in the Renton family since 1858 and in 1996 Mr Renton became the fifth generation of the family on the diverse 544ha property, farming beef, deer and sheep, with 32ha in forestry.” http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=11898944
