Monday, 26 October 2015. An Australian woman was knocked down and killed while walking on State Highway 1 (Bluff Highway) near the intersection with Omaui Rd about 1am Monday. Monday, 26 October 2015. Wellington. At approximately 11.30am Police were called to the scene of a motor vehicle crash in Happy Valley Road involving a motorbike and a single vehicle. Monday, 26 October 2015. Invercargill Police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle accident that occurred around 7.10am Monday 26th October 2015. A charcoal coloured Nissan 2 door vehicle was travelling in a westerly direction on Yarrow Street towards Dee Street and proceeded across Dee Street, crashing into the wall of the Farmers Trading Company. Sunday, 25 October 2015. Waikato. Police have sealed off the main road of state highway 39 at the southern end of Pirongia after being called to a fatality involving a truck and a pedestrian. It appears a person on the highway was struck by two heavy trucks travelling north and passing through Pirongia. Tuesday, 11 August 2015 –  Counties Manukau

Fatal crash in Oamaru

A fatal crash has occurred on Oamaru-Alma Road in Oamaru where a truck and car  collided killing the driver.

Update on fatal truck crash in Birkenhead

Police have released the name of the young woman killed in a fatal truck crash in Birkenhead yesterday.  She was Jane Lee Devonshire, aged 19 years old, of West Harbour.

Investigation underway following death of a child

Tuesday, 11 August 2015 – Bay of Plenty of Deaths

An investigation is underway in Taupo following the death of a three-year-old boy, police said.

The boy was admitted to Taupo Hospital with critical injuries at approximately 3pm yesterday afternoon (Monday, 10 August). Preparations were underway to transfer him to Starship Hospital but he died last night before that transfer could occur.

Man who was killed in avalanche named

Tuesday, 11 August 2015 – Queenstown

Police have confirmed the 58 year-old man who was killed in avalanche yesterday was Roger Greville of Sydney, Australia.  The cause of his death is still unknown and has been referred to the coroner. A post-mortem is scheduled to occur this morning,  police said.

Fatal crash on SH1 Orari-Rangitata Highway

Monday, 10 August 2015   –   Canterbury

At about 6.15am this morning a two vehicle crashoccurred on SH1 between Rangitata and Orari., in which a south-bound Suzuki Swift collided with a north-bound Ford Ranger.  “The driver and sole occupant of the Suzuki, a 55 year old female living in Timaru, was confirmed as deceased at the scene.”

Name release – investigation into the death of a child in Onehunga

Auckland City Police released the name of the child who was found dead in Onehunga on Friday morning.  She was Maggie Renee Watson, aged four years old. Homicide Investigation in Hamilton

Operation CARDINAL SIN.  A homicide investigation is underway after the discovery of a man’s body in a central city public toilet. Fatal Crash – Hawkes Bay

At 11.38pm on Saturday, 8th August 2015, a serious motor crash occurred on Farndon Road, Clive, police said.

Four males were in a motor vehicle which left the road and rolled, killing one of the occupants, and injuring the three others, who were taken to Hawkes Bay Regional Hospital, one in a critical condition and the other two with moderate injuries, police said. http://www.police.govt.nz/news/release/fatal-crash-hawkes-bay
