Chinese vessel caught illegally fishing near New Zealand territory
One of the Chinese vessels caught fishing illegally in a New Zealand fisheries operation has a record of unlawful activity and is on a Greenpeace blacklist having previously attempted to cover up illegal fishing activity by changing its name and log books.
Two long-liners, the Da Yang 15 and Da Yang 16, both flagged to China, were allegedly caught fishing just outside New Zealand’s Exclusive Economic Zone near the Kermadec Island. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/crime/news/article.cfm?c_id=30&objectid=11687456
