NZ ranks 33 out of 38 for inequality in education –Unicef report

“An Unfair Start: Inequality in Children’s Education in Rich Countries”

New Zealand has one of the most unequal education systems in the world, according a new global report released by Unicef.

The report ranks NZ at 33 out of 38 for inequality in education, based on global data from different reports looking at education from early education to secondary school.

The report analyzes  the gap in children’s access to tuition – in the context of income and education.

Poverty

Lack of household income [poverty,] contributed to the  inequality, Unicef director of child rights Andre Whittaker said.

Now you know why Chastity Jacinda is appointed PM

WARNING! SEVERE Karmic Events Occurring Throughout NZ! ARE YOU READY?

*****

Remember this:

“We have a white supremacist establishment that shame even Donald Trump, spend billions on an incompetent and unnecessary military, and let a brutal police force run the country [and commit murder] with absolute impunity, but have no clean water [and go blind while waiting for eye care, or die within hours of being released from hospital] in New Zealand…” — A Reader

The same reader has just sent this:

One in five New Zealanders risk of getting sick from drinking water

“Experts investigating the Havelock North gastro outbreak warn hundreds of thousands of New Zealanders – one in five people – are at risk of getting sick and universal treatment of drinking water is needed, a report said.

Earlier today, the Havelock North Water Inquiry released its second report.

“Attorney-General David Parker said it made for sober reading. There were a series of failures that led to so many falling ill in Havelock North and in other areas of New Zealand, he said,” according to the report.

“We will take control of the mess left by the previous Government, address any regulatory gaps, and work with councils to ensure water in New Zealand is supplied safely,” he said.

“This is a priority for us as a government.”

The report has warned about 800,000 New Zealanders – or 20 percent of people on town supply – are drinking water that is “not demonstrably safe”.

“Of these, 92,000 are at risk of bacterial infection, 681,000 of protozoal infection, and 59,000 at risk from the long-term effects of exposure to chemicals.”

[Drinking water in other areas of New Zealand is most probably as bad as Havelock North’s. Moderator]

The FAKE Freedom of Information: Police Censorship = NO Information!

The Latest Stats

Between Friday, December 1 and Wednesday December 6, 2017, at least 87 serious road accidents occurred in New Zealand [insider information] leaving about 16 people dead and up to 140 others critically/ seriously injured [statistical models and insider information.]  Of these only a handful and three fatalities were reported by NZ police.

Welcome to the World’s Deadliest Tourist Destination – Truth about NZ Deadly Roads, as We Know it:

  • Based on insider information, statistical models and local news, we believe about 900 people were killed and more than 8,000 others seriously/critically injured on NZ suicide roads in 2016; however, only 328 fatalities were reported last year. [For every 12 or so victims, who die from their road injuries later in a hospital, only one death is reported. See blog content.]
  • To protect the tourist industry and massive foreign investment, about two out of every three road fatalities [and other tourists deaths] go unreported, or the dead are statistically resurrected by NZ government.

Tourist Road Fatalities in NZ are a State Secret

On average, three foreigners are killed in New Zealand every 4 days, but many of the deaths go unreported:

Foreigners Killed in NZ Since 2000
At least 4,000 overseas visitors, international students, foreign workers, recent emigrants and refugees have lost their lives and more than 24,000 others seriously injured in New Zealand between Jan 2000 and Jan 2017.

Medical Miracle, or Malicious MENDACITY?

Of an estimated 2,800 people who have received near-fatal, critical, or serious injuries on New Zealand roads so far this year, less than a handful have perished from their injuries, according to NZ police reports, or lack thereof.

Road Fatalities and STATISTICAL RESURRECTIONS

[The following list represents figures monitored by the moderators and blog contributors. It represents only a fraction of the actual deception and disinformation by the authorities.]

  • Melanie Dangel, 19, was finally pronounced dead on Monday, December 4, some 10 days after a tragic, violent crash. MoT insulted the German victim by excluding her from the doctored official road toll.
  • Woman killed in Christchurch after crashing into a fence on Nov. 27 has not been included in the official road toll.
  • At least THREE road fatalities that occurred over the Nov 24 – 26 period [insider information] were NOT reported by police.
  • No. of known STATISTICAL RESURRECTIONS performed by MoT on Nov. 8, 2017 : at least ONE.
  • As of Monday, Nov. 6, at least FIVE additional fatalities that occurred over the weekend remain unreported by police.
  • No. of known STATISTICAL RESURRECTIONS performed by MoT on Oct. 24, 2017 : at least THREE.
  • No. of known MoT resurrections on Oct. 17, 2017 : at least TWO
  • No. known MoT resurrections on Oct. 13, 2017 : at least ONE
  • No. of known MoT resurrections on Oct. 2, 2017 : at least ONE
  • No. of known STATISTICAL RESURRECTIONS performed by MoT on Sept. 26, 2017 : at least ONE
  • On Monday, August 28, police reported at least THREE road fatalities. All three victims seem to have been statistically resurrected by the Ministry of Truth (Minitru).
  • At least FIVE, possibly as many as SEVEN, people were killed in serious crashes on Wednesday, August 23, according to a informed source, but only three fatalities were reported by police.
  • Both the actual number of road fatalities and cases of statistical resurrections performed by the Ministry of Transport (MoT) over the September 22-24 weekend remain UNKNOWN.
  • Between September 18 and 21, 2017 at least SIX road fatality victims were resurrected by MOT.
  • At least nine road fatalities occurred over the weekend (September 1 – 2), according to reliable insider information. However, only four of the deaths were reported by police, and of those, just three were recorded by the Ministry of Transport.

According to NZ Post Blenheim area manager Grant Sinclair,  the box was hit by a car and the door was bent beyond repair.

“Another reason for reconsidering this location was that the box had been targeted twice by vandals in the past year when fires were set in the box and mail was burnt,” he said.

“NZ Post complains about a drop-off in mail but do everything to discourage people from sending out their post,” said Bill Cox, 85, who is now faced with a 50-minute round trip to send a letter.

School bullying spurs human rights call

By LANE NICHOLS – The Dominion Post | Tuesday, 03 June 2008

The Human Rights Commission is being asked to investigate violence and human rights abuses of children in schools.

A group of Lower Hutt parents allege a “systematic failure” of state agencies responsible for protecting children from bullying and playground violence.

The group – whose sons were victimised at Hutt Valley High School in December – have written to commissioner Rosslyn Noonan seeking a nationwide inquiry.

The Government is poised to unveil measures to tackle bullying after a spate of violent incidents in schools.

But it is under pressure to strengthen rules around schools’ human rights responsibilities, to help address bullying and widespread under-achievement.

Former Amnesty International head Ced Simpson said New Zealand had obligations under international treaties to ensure children were safe and received a decent education.

But violence and estimates that 20 per cent of pupils were failing in schools meant children’s human rights were being undermined.

His group, Human Rights Communities in Education, has met Education Minister Chris Carter and Education Ministry boss Karen Sewell. It wants changes to schools’ national guidelines.

Schools should also introduce confidential pupil surveys to identify actual bullying levels, as the problem was probably under-reported, he said. “Educational achievement and bullying are obviously the key issues. It is important that schools have a clear regulatory environment which makes it clear what their responsibilities are.”

Writing to Ms Noonan, the parents called state agencies’ dysfunctional response to Hutt Valley High violence a “systematic failure likely to be involved in other cases of school violence”.

They allege some schools are under-reporting violence to protect their reputations and attract lucrative foreign fee-paying pupils, but say state agencies must act.

“The impact of school-based violence is wider than the physical pain suffered … Fear cripples the ability to learn, denying the victim’s right to education.”

The ministry says schools can already hold confidential “eliminating violence” surveys. They had to provide safe environments for pupils and follow New Zealand laws, including the Bill of Rights.

Schools were monitored by the Education Review Office, which found most had good practices to manage bullying.

No plans existed to amend national guidelines, but respect for human rights was a core value in the new curriculum. (Source) © Fairfax New Zealand Limited 2007.

The so-called human rights [sic] commissioner Rosslyn Noonan has made a mockery of human rights in New Zealand. Her role is not to uphold human rights, but to protect the establishment and their “asset,” the New Zealand government, against complaints of breaches of human rights. The outcome of this complaint would only serve to strengthen the case against the grotesquely inappropriate choice of “commissioner,” Rosslyn Noonan, and the government-controlled human rights commission!
