Suspiciously dead body of missing man found on Dunedin beach not suspicious
Dunedin man Stephen Gourlay has been found dead. As to be expected, police say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death. Mr Gourlay, 52, had been missing since December 20. His body was found on Boulder Beach, on the Otago Peninsula, on Monday afternoon.  http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/75840797/body-found-on-dunedin-beach-confirmed-as-missing-man.html

Mr Gourlay was described as a “loving father always there for his family.” He had just celebrated the birth of a new grandchild, said her youngest daughter Emma Feather Shaw.

“Our dad has spent the last few days helping us babysit the grandkids, run mundane errands, help a friend move house, and deliver a firewood donation to a member of the community.”

Police did not bother to find out the circumstances leading to his death, like the how, the what or the why. Case closed!
