UPDATE

What happened to Mr Mandik’s “climbing companion”?

An anonymous informer has told the blog that Mr Mandik was accompanied by another person when he arrived at Mount Cook National Park. However, there’s no mention of that person in the police reports. WHY have police suppressed the information?

Based on previous similar incidents, the moderators believe Mr Mandik probably fell victim to foul play!

Conspiracy 🙂 or common sense? Why are senior cops allowed/encouraged to remain illiterate?

The Final Destination: Search to resume for remains of missing Swede

Posted by te2ataria on December 25, 2019

Swedish Hunter Hans Christian Tornmarck went missing [presumed dead] in May 2017

Mr Tornmarck, 27, is one of scores of foreigners who are permanently missing in New Zealand.

He went hunting by himself on Friday 12 May, 2017 and was due out of the bush on Wednesday 17 May police said.

The Swede, like so many other foreign visitors, went missing—permanently!

He was understood to be in the Karangarua Valley, near Fox Glacier, where his sleeping bag and tent were located on Saturday 20 May, 2017.

However, on Wednesday 24 May, police concluded search for the missing visitor, just six days after it had begun. They’d failed to find his remains.

His sleeping bag and tent were located in the Karangarua Valley, near Fox Glacier on Saturday 20 May, 2017.

At the time, West Coast Area Commander, Inspector Mel Aitken, huffing and puffing, blew the police trumpet:

“Search and rescue teams have worked tirelessly over the past week, unfortunately not reaching the outcome we all hoped for.

“I have been impressed with the work ethic of my staff, the selflessness of volunteers and the attitudes of all involved in this operation.

“Extensive efforts have been put into searching what is an extreme, raw and unforgiving environment deep in the heart of South Westland.

“It is deeply disappointing that we have not been able to locate Mr Tornmarck despite the efforts.”

A pang of conscience: “It didn’t sit right with me!”

Now, Sergeant Jayne Bretherton, who was involved in the search for Tornmarck in May 2017, is having a pang of conscience, and perhaps even a guilty thrill. She says:

“It didn’t sit right with me. The search was called off and it stayed with me. There’s not many like that.

“We couldn’t search some areas because of the snow, so I think there is a very high likelihood we will find him because we are going back in summer.”

West Coast police search and recover teams are said to resume looking for the remains on January 31.

Nelson lawyer found dead in crashed car: Murder, Suicide, or Death by Driving in NZ?

Posted by te2ataria on March 14, 2017

Heavily Censored Road Fatality Reports

Nelson lawyer Alistair Bowers found dead in crashed car

Every death in New Zealand must be regarded as suspicious, unless investigated by qualified, independent (non-NZers) investigators.

EIGHT days after the body Bowers, 52, was found dead in a crashed car, police say his death is being treated as a suspected suicide.

“Bowers, a lawyer who lived in Nelson, was supposed to be in Christchurch representing a plaintiff in a civil case. He never arrived at the courthouse.”

[NOTE: Death by driving on NZ suicide roads should be treated as negligent homicide. The authorities are fully aware of the dangers, yet they take no step to prevent the vehicular mayhem. Moderator N.]

A 29-year-old Polish tourist driving an SUV was involved in a head on crash on SH47 west of Turangi on Monday morning… A 38-year-old American driving the other car, a Subaru, suffered a broken wrist, his front seat passenger escaped injury, but the two men who were travelling in the back seat of the car sustained serious injuries and were airlifted to Waikato Hospital.

“Police say neither of the men was wearing a seat belt. A 40-year-old remains in a critical condition while his 46-year-old companion is serious but stable.”

All three passengers in the Subaru were from the Czech republic, police said.

Teenage girl found dead on Waikato road

The 17-year-old’s body was reportedly discovered by other party goers on State Highway 3, Main Rd, at the northern end of Otorohanga.

What’s wrong with this report?

“Detective Senior Sergeant Ross Patterson said Police were keeping an open mind as to how the young woman came to be at the roadside, after her body was discovered about 6.30am,” according to police report.

Enter Denise Johnson, who lives immediately opposite the crash scene and said she heard the crash around 4am and went to investigate. [Her son Logan Wright was killed in a three-car crash near Te Kuiti in January.]

“It was a dark four-door sedan, like a Commodore or something,” she said.

“It was obviously a young person driving from the sound of his voice. There was a girl in the car with him, but he was doing all the yelling.

“It looks like it’s just another day in Otorohanga where speed and stupidity takes the life of an innocent person … my heart sincerely goes out to this girl’s mum and dad.”

Aucklander Pare Te Wao, who attended the Main Road party, said one of her nephews attempted to contact the police about a crash on the Main Rd about 4am.

When no response appeared forthcoming, he went to the Otorohonga Police Station, which was still closed.

Another witness said they saw a lone police car at the scene about 4.45am as they drove through town. http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/78495494/Teenage-girl-found-dead-on-Waikato-road

Meanwhile, Otorohanga mayor Max Baxter said he was crossing his fingers there was no foul play involved.

Who discovered the body first? Nearby resident Denise Johnson, at 4am? Aucklander Pare Te Wao, at 4am? Or other party goers on State Highway 3, at about 6.30am?

Olivia Rutherford Tragedy: Suicide or Foul Play?

Posted by te2ataria on February 16, 2010

Under a highly-predatory sociopolitical regime

Our teenagers fear for future easily transformed into self-destruction

Body of the missing Wellington 15-year-old Olivia Rutherford
was recovered from Wellington Harbour this morning

The body was retrieved from Wellington Harbour about 11.30am and was formally identified by her family this afternoon.

New Zealand has the highest male and female youth (15-24 years) suicide rate within the 13 OECD countries, despite the latest Ministry of Health [doctored] figures.

An online survey of 500 teens, aged 15-18, carried out in January, revealed that the overwhelming majority of them feared the future.

  • 43% lacked confidence to achieve the things they wanted to in life.
  • 39% were concerned about ever being able to get a good job.
  • 38% did not feel connected to their local community.
  • 48% worried about disappointing friends and letting parents down.
  • 46% believed they would one day live in another country.
  • 46% wished they had more confidence to make new friends.
  • 18% knew peers who were subjected to violence in the home on a daily or weekly basis.  [Source: Baseline Consultancy]

Our children aren’t a priority in this country. The most important issue is how the earthly can be manipulated to boost the net worth of a few dozen people whose assets are worth more than a third of New Zealand GDP.

The system is not geared to ensuring future security for our kids; it’s there to guarantee the status quo would never change!

Bullying’ link to child suicide rate, charity suggests
13 June 2010

“A bullying prevention charity has called for more official data on child suicide and research into its causes.

“Beatbullying found that up to 44% of suicides among 10- to 14-year-olds may be bullying-related.

“The charity said 26 out of the 59 cases reported in the national media were linked to intimidating behaviour.

“Its report was published to mark the second anniversary of the death of 13-year-old Sam Leeson.

“Beatbullying said the Office of National Statistics had recorded 176 cases of suicides of 10- to 14-year-olds between 2000 and 2008 in England, Scotland and Wales.

“It then searched national press reports on the issue and said at least 14% (26 of 176) were clearly linked by the press to bullying.

“However, the press covered only 59 cases and the charity thinks up to 78 of the total could have been related to bullying.

“It also said nearly every bullying-related suicide identified the school as the main source of the bullying.” […] https://www.bbc.com/news/10302550

Mr Wolfie Kills another tourist in NZ: A Swiss electrician!

Posted by te2ataria on October 20, 2008

Submitted by a reader:

And the condescending nincompoops have the nerve to tell you: the “death is a sad reminder of the dangers of walking on the railway lines…”

They want you to believe that a 23-year-old Swiss electrician doesn’t know the dangers of walking on railway lines …

The man killed on the Kapiti Coast was Christophe Paul Breisinger, 23, a Swiss electrician on a working holiday, police said.

Our hearts go to the friends and family of Mr Breisinger, and we believe they should launch a private investigation to find out if this tragedy was really an accident, or foul play.

There are simply too many tourists killed “accidentally” in New Zealand. The excuses offered by NZ police as the “cause of death” are, at best, bizarre, unrealistic or improbable! [See links below.]

Mr Breisinger had been in New Zealand for seven months and was traveling around the country with his girlfriend, reports said.

A local policeman, who was on a first name basis with the victim, said: “Christophe’s death is a sad reminder of the dangers of walking on the railway lines.”
