Asymmetric War on Foreigners in NZ: 4,500 Foreigners Killed Since 2000

More than 4,500 overseas visitors, international students, foreign workers, recent emigrants and refugees have lost their lives and more than 30,000 others seriously injured in New Zealand between January 2000 and 2018.

The Final Destination: Chinese male violently killed in Mt Cook crash

42- year-old Qin Li of China was the driver violently killed in a crash on Tekapo-Twizel Road at Mount Cook on Wednesday 29 August.

Two other people were seriously injured and a third had moderate injuries due to the crash.

“South Canterbury locals are now asking the NZ Transport Agency to improve the notoriously bad intersection after the death of Li,” a report said. [HA HA HA…]

A volunteer firefighter, who was one of the first responders at the crash, said it was just one in a long list of serious accidents at the intersection and the second fatal one he had attended.

“Last year, local schoolteacher Sandy Nelson launched a petition calling for changes to the intersection. [However,] despite the petition getting more than 800 signatures, appropriate action wasn’t taken,” the report said.

Foreign workers in NZ are being exploited and abused

“We thought you’re fucking civilized” –systematically abused foreign workers in NZ

“Exploited, abused Filipino worker speaks out”

“A Filipino construction worker who came to Christchurch for a better life says he’s been bullied, kicked in the back and hit in the head at work.

“It comes after a devastating report released this week by E Tū Union, found Filipino construction workers brought in from overseas for jobs in Auckland and Christchurch are frequently being exploited.”

There’s government corruption and then there’s NZ government corruption!!

Housing NZ to install gold-plated toilets in luxury state homes!!

Billions borrowed for new state homes against Treasury advice

Warning: Look out for poisonous snakes like Peter Thiel and buddies lurking in the “investment” bushes.

[Now you know why the establishment depends on corruption: Helen “Crooked” Clark, John “Assassin” Key, Jacinda “Chastity” Ardern…]

Finance Minister Grant Robertson, the clown on the left,  and Housing Minister Phil Twyford, the clown on the right, ignored Treasury advice on HNZ debt. [Little secret to how you enrich your masters.] Photo: LAWRENCE SMITH/STUFF

“The Government allowed Housing New Zealand to borrow billions of dollars to build new state houses despite advice from Treasury that such debt would be expensive and risky.

“In May, the Government announced it would be building 6400 new state homes over four years.

“The funding for this came principally from $2.9b Housing New Zealand was allowed to borrow independently, instead of through regular Government borrowing. Just $234m of new money was allocated to the crown agency.”

Meanwhile…

Meanwhile, Transport Minister Phil Twyford, the same clown on the right (see photo above),  announced an additional $16.9 billion will be spent on “improving road safety” in its three-year transport program…

Govt plans to build hundreds of homes over major active fault zone

Govt to build 330 new homes and refurbish hundreds more over Wairarapa and Wellington Faults

The 1855 Wairarapa Earthquake

A massive rupture along the Wairarapa Fault and Wharekauhau thrust, which continued onto the Alfredton Fault, was responsible for the 1855 Wairarapa mega earthquake, the most powerful to strike New Zealand in modern history.

The 8.3 magnitude earthquake struck on 23 January 1855 around 9:20pm, affecting the entire Cook Strait, as well as Wellington and Wairarapa (North Island), Nelson and Marlborough (South Island).

The quake caused a horizontal displacement of up to 18m, and an uplift of about 6m in Rimutaka Range. It also generated New Zealand’s largest local tsunami, with a maximum height of 11m.

Government Corruption:

Housing affordability is ‘in the eye of the beholder’ – Building and Housing Minister

The corrupt government has been fielding questions this afternoon on why the government and Auckland Council can not say how many affordable homes have been built in Special Housing Areas.

The Building and Housing Minister Nick [“shit-face”] Smith told Morning report today that the definition of affordability was “very much in the eye of the beholder”.

“Obviously someone has bought the 4751 new homes consented in those special housing areas.”

The corrupt, ugly specimen is right! If you’re a multimillionaire, everything is affordable.  As for the average Kiwi, the “beholder” with a fixed derisory income, he would never be able to afford  a home in this country.
