Chinese workers to build hotel in Auckland!!

Posted by te2ataria on May 16, 2018

WARNING! SEVERE Karmic Booms Striking NZ!

| ♠ |

Will they use Chinese steel?

Immigration New Zealand [the Mafia] has approved, in principal, work visas for 138 workers  through March 2019 to build the [Chinese-owned?] Park Hyatt hotel, a major hotel on Auckland’s waterfront.

They include welders, painters, tilers, carpet layers… and will be paid $26 – $35 an hour, but it’s unclear who would foot the bill for their food, accommodation and entertainment.

“Immigration New Zealand said they were satisfied that the company acting for Fu Wah, Auckland Fitout Limited (AFL), had been unable to find locals first,” a report said.

When the Living Have NO Human Rights…

UPDATE: NZ Road Toll Y-T-D (including fake stats as doctored and cooked by NZ police and then manipulated by the Ministry of Resurrection)

No. of crash victims who have been statistically resurrected by the Ministry of Resurrection: 42 [No. of the dead currently in limbo: N/K]

  • Actual road toll for 2018 so far: 376  [Based on the blog’s advanced statistical model – margin of error: ±3 per cent.]
  • No. of fatalities reported by police: 188
  • No. of crash victims NOT resurrected: 146 as of Wednesday morning (May 16, 2018)

Welcome to the World’s Deadliest Tourist Destination: Truth about NZ’s Deadly Roads, as We Know it

  • Based on insider information, statistical models and local news, we believe about 900 people were killed and more than 8,000 others critically/seriously injured on NZ suicide roads in 2016; however, only 328 fatalities were reported last year. [For every 12 or so victims, who die from their road injuries later in a hospital, only one death is reported. See blog content.]
  • To protect the tourist industry and massive foreign investment, about two out of every three road fatalities [and other tourists deaths] go unreported, or the dead are statistically resurrected by NZ government’s “Ministry of Resurrection”.

Foreigners Killed in NZ Since 2000
At least 4,500 overseas visitors, international students, foreign workers, recent emigrants and refugees have lost their lives and more than 30,000 others seriously injured in New Zealand between Jan 2000 and Jan 2018.

Medical Miracle, or Malicious MENDACITY?

Of an estimated 3,000 people who have received near-fatal, critical, or serious injuries on New Zealand roads in 2017, only a handful were deceased from their injuries, according to NZ police reports, or lack thereof.

Failed country: Since when humans had rights?

Posted by edmundironside on April 23, 2018

S H A M E  O N  Y O U!

Foreword: “We have a [kosher] white supremacist establishment that shame even Donald Trump [NY mafia,] spend billions on an incompetent and unnecessary military, and let a brutal police force [and private security/spy firms] run the country [and commit murder and other heinous crimes] with absolute impunity, but have no clean water [and go blind while waiting for eye care, or die within hours of being released from hospital, while a significant portion of the taxpayers’ money goes toward servicing money-laundering operations, instead of feeding the 325,000 children who live below the poverty line] in New Zealand…” — A Reader

∇  ∇  ∇  ∇  ∇

Unacceptable: Child poverty, housing crisis, incarceration rate, violence, abuse, bullying…

A UN human rights committee is reportedly “shocked” by New Zealand’s record on multiple issues including “child poverty, inadequate housing, the incarceration rate, and violence, abuse and bullying.” [WOW!]

The UN Committee responsible for oversight of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR) was appalled even by the fake, watered down, euphemized, and otherwise doctored human rights stats presented to it by NZ officials, when they met in Geneva in March.

“According to the Ministry of Social Development’s Household incomes in New Zealand report 140,000 children – or 13 per cent – were living in households with income of less than 50 per cent of the median, before housing costs, in 2016.”

However, the actual child poverty figures are at least 325,000 or 30 per cent.

About 100,000 New Zealanders are HOMELESS!

For a third of ALL New Zealand children the Kiwi dream of home ownership, stable employment and education is just that – a dream.

For poor children in the developed South Pacific nation of 4.5 million illnesses associated with chronic poverty are common, including developing world rates of rheumatic fever (virtually unknown by doctors in comparable countries such as Canada and the UK), and respiratory illnesses.

Meals are irregular and nutritionally poor, consisting of meat pies, hot chips and 99c white bread. School attendance may be patchy or skipped entirely, and protective clothing and footwear for the harsh New Zealand climate is a luxury.

New Zealand’s most shameful statistic:

  • A third of ALL New Zealand children, [or 325,000,] now live below the poverty line – [70,000 more than two years ago – and over twice as many as did in 1984.]

Unicef’s definition of child poverty in New Zealand: Children living in households who earn less than 60% of the median national income – NZ$28,000 a year, or NZ$550 a week. [This definition has since been downgraded to 50% of the median national income by government to make the stats look improved.]

  • Cost of renting a garage in Auckland to live in:  search the net!

[Rent in New Zealand is 26.04% higher than in Sweden – average data for all cities.]

It’s time for a Government

Posted by te2ataria on June 9, 2016

Sent by a reader in ‘Murder City’

Sick and tired of slumlords denying you the most basic human rights?

[John Key and his clique] need to stop joking about homelessness and start building desperately needed homes, said the Green Party.

OCR: Households and businesses still held hostage to housing crisis

The National Government’s failure to fix the Auckland housing crisis continues to keep interest rates higher than they need to be, meaning families and businesses face higher than necessary costs of borrowing, the Green Party said today.

The Reserve Bank today left the Official Cash Rate unchanged at 2.25 percent despite economic conditions that favour lowering the rate, citing risks to the economy from high house prices and a lack of housing supply.

“National’s failure to fix the Auckland housing crisis is forcing the Reserve Bank to keep interest rates higher, hurting families, exporters, and jobs,” Green Party Co-leader James Shaw said.

“If National had tackled the Auckland housing crisis instead of choosing to do as little as possible, households and small businesses could be benefitting from lower interest rates right now.

Slumlords should stop joking about homelessness

At least 177 people sleeping rough within a 3-km radius of the Sky Tower, with another 51 in temporary emergency accommodation, up from 147 people last year, according to the 2016 Auckland City Street Count.

“The Government needs to stop joking about homelessness, as the Prime Minister did in Parliament today, and get on with building more houses,” Green Party social housing spokesperson Marama Davidson said.

“Families sleeping on the floor of marae, or in their cars, would be devastated to hear the Prime Minister joking about whether they’re actually homeless or if they’re just renovating their houses.

“John Key and Paula Bennett both mislead New Zealanders about homeless people not wanting help last week yet neither are prepared to apologise for the hurt they caused. And now they’re joking about homeless families.”

“Clearly, neither John Key nor Paula Bennett have any idea what life is really like for families spat out the rough end of the housing crisis, who genuinely have nowhere to live.

Govt should attack housing crisis, not families in need

National’s has failed New Zealanders on housing. Budget 2016 delivered nothing to give young families a chance to buy their own home. It slashed funding for home insulation by two-thirds. It continued John Key’s cruel policy of taking a $118m a year profit out of Housing New Zealand at the same time families are living in cars because there aren’t enough state houses.

No wonder 76 per cent of Kiwis say there is a housing crisis, and this Government has failed to fix it. Just one in four adults under 40 own their own place today. House prices are rising at 30 times the rate of inflation. 16,000 houses are year are being bought by foreign speculators. Record numbers are living in cars and garages.   http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=11653530

How the average Kiwis are being ‘sodomized’ by PM and his gang

The value of an average home has increased by twice the amount an average worker earns.

  • Average price of a home in Auckland: About $1.2 million
  • House prices average annual growth ($35,000 or 8% in 2015)
  • Average income:  $44,000 (growth of 3.1% in 2015)

Housing affordability in Auckland better than in 2008, says Sick Nmith

Housing affordability is no worse in Auckland than in 2008, says Housing Minister Sick Nmith. [Which is actually true because the average family couldn’t afford to buy a house in 2008 and the average family, sure as hell, can’t afford to buy a house in 2016.]

“[About] 100 per cent of the average person’s income would be required to service their mortgage,” Dr Sick said.

Last year, the typical Auckland property earned about $230 a day – that’s twice what the average worker made in their job, or the same as an entry-level doctor or head of department teacher with responsibility for 10 staff.

“… the price growth was nearly twice the pay of an entry-level nurse and $25,000 more than a constable [earns] in his fifth year as a police officer.”

High Auckland rents forcing people onto the streets – Sallies

People are paying more than 70 percent of their income just for rent.

New Zealand human rights breach international treaties

Posted by te2ataria on April 13, 2009

New Zealand law allows significant human rights failings and breaches of international treaties

Civil rights lawyers to the United Nations

NZ found wanting on human rights

By MIKE HOULAHAN – The Press
http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/politics/2330632/NZ-found-wanting-on-human-rights

New Zealand law allows significant human rights failings and breaches of international treaties, a report by civil rights lawyers to the United Nations says.

The shadow report written by former Council for Civil Liberties chairman Tony Ellis and a team of lawyers was submitted to the United Nations last week.

It said New Zealand could do better in many areas of human rights law and that there were several deficiencies in respect of New Zealand’s international human rights obligations.

The report called for:

The elimination of extended supervision orders (ESO);

The Government to repeal the preventive detention laws;

The Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Act 2005 to be repealed.

The report said ESOs, which monitor and restrict the movements of sex offenders, were inconsistent with the Bill of Rights due to issues of double jeopardy and unreasonable search and seizure.

Two weeks ago, the Government sparked by possible lawsuits from high-risk sex offenders on ESOs rushed through a law change to patch a loophole in parole laws.

The law was passed despite a report from the attorney-general that warned the law change could not be justified under the Bill of Rights.

“These prisoners have already served their prison sentence, they have done their time and in some cases are then retrospectively sentenced again,” Ellis said.

The report also took issue with the sentence of preventive detention, saying it amounted to arbitrary detention.

It also condemned the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Act, which was passed to restrict prisoners gaining compensation for ill-treatment while behind bars unless the money was used as redress for victims.

The law denied people who had been ill-treated a remedy, adequate or otherwise, the report said.

“This legislation is a disgrace in any democratic society and plainly a breach of the covenant and numerous other international instruments.”

Ellis said while treating prisoners decently may not be popular, to do so was the mark of a civilised society.

The report also called for:

The Parole Board to be independent and impartial;

An independent prisons’ inspectorate be set up;

The Bill of Rights to be given supreme law status, and section 4 of the act (which allows the Government to pass laws contrary to the Bill of Rights) to be repealed;

Improving the care of mentally ill prisoners and addressing the over-representation of Maori in prisons.

New Zealand is a signatory to the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR), and as such supplies the United Nations Human Rights Committee with a periodic report on the country’s human rights status.

The most recent report, delivered in December 2007, is due for consideration by the UN in Geneva in July.

It reports considerable advances in human rights, including key judgments by the Supreme Court, the passing of the Civil Unions act, the creation of an action plan for human rights and the creation of the Families Commission.

Shadow reports are commonly filed by civil rights organisations from other countries, but it has been rarely done by New Zealand groups.

Ellis said that was partly due to funding his report was prepared pro bono and partly due to ignorance that such reports could be written.

Justice Minister Simon Power said New Zealand was presenting its report under the UN’s convention against torture this month, and then the ICCPR report in July.

Both included many positive developments in the protection of human rights in New Zealand, he said, including the establishment of the Supreme Court, the repeal of seditious offences, and reviews of laws governing policing and corrections.

Power noted the Human Rights Commission’s 2004 review found New Zealand met international human rights standards in many respects and often surpassed them.

However, he acknowledged there were issues to be addressed such as the vulnerability of children and young people in detention. Copyright author/news agency.

‘Sodomous’ Judge and the Rising Crime Rates

Posted by te2ataria on July 13, 2008

The “Sodomous” Judge Thomas Ingram warning a 17-year-old: “Two or three of these [convictions] and you will be Waikeria [prison] bound. Just think about lining up in the shower with all the boys, your bar of soap in your hand.”

A sodomous district court judge, his mouth frothing with delight and a horny glint in his eyes, told a young offender what might happen to him in the shower room if he was sent to prison. The depraved judge, with his hand moving in his trouser pocket, could hardly contain his excitement.

The 17-year old pleaded guilty last week for stealing a 99 cent bar of chocolate.

Auckland QC Peter Williams said the comment was “disgusting and ridiculous.”

“These are definitely not the type of comments we expect from our judiciary. We pay good money to judges so they act in a judicial manner, set an example to the community and adhere to standards of formality and dignity,” he said.

“It is this type of remark that condones violence in prisons. It’s quite shabby really.”

Criminal lawyer Chris Comeskey agreed, saying the comments were “outrageous”.

Another lawyer was heard muttering, “what if like the judge, the offenders liked the shower-room action,” or words to that effect, “isn’t that why they keep re-offending, committing bigger crimes?”

The young offender was sentenced to 40 hours community service [apparently in the district where the judge resides.]

A 39-year-old Asian woman, presumed to be Korean or Japanese, was murdered in Auckland as her assailant who snatched her handbag knocked her down with his 4WD and drove over her.

The Asian victim suffered serious head injuries and died about an hour later.

The other two Asians who were murdered in New Zealand last week were Mr Navtej Singh, 30, an Indian shopkeeper who was shot to death in his Auckland shop, and Mrs Yin Ping Yang, an 80-year-old Chinese woman who was viciously attacked and fatally injured in her home.

New Zealand Police: “Tourists Lucky To Be Alive!”

Posted by te2ataria on June 15, 2008

Mr Wolfie to the Next Busload of Tourists: Hello Lunch! Do You Feel Lucky Today?

Two separate tourist buses, one carrying Japanese tourists and the other Chinese, crashed in less than 24 hours in New Zealand.

In the first incident which occurred Saturday near Matamata, New Zealand, at least 7 Japanese tourists were treated for injuries.

The second tourist bus crashed and rolled down a bank, with the bus ending up on its side on Sunday. At least 8 Chinese tourists required hospital treatment for their injuries.

Police spokesman said the crash could have been a lot worse and the tourists were lucky to be alive! [They don’t normally survive the ‘mandatory’ crash!]

To All Foreign Parents Who Send Their Kids to NZ

If you love your children, why do you send them to New Zealand?

School bullying spurs human rights call

By LANE NICHOLS – The Dominion Post | Tuesday, 03 June 2008

The Human Rights Commission is being asked to investigate violence and human rights abuses of children in schools.

A group of Lower Hutt parents allege a “systematic failure” of state agencies responsible for protecting children from bullying and playground violence.

The group – whose sons were victimised at Hutt Valley High School in December – have written to commissioner Rosslyn Noonan seeking a nationwide inquiry.

The Government is poised to unveil measures to tackle bullying after a spate of violent incidents in schools.

But it is under pressure to strengthen rules around schools’ human rights responsibilities, to help address bullying and widespread under-achievement.

Former Amnesty International head Ced Simpson said New Zealand had obligations under international treaties to ensure children were safe and received a decent education.

But violence and estimates that 20 per cent of pupils were failing in schools meant children’s human rights were being undermined.

His group, Human Rights Communities in Education, has met Education Minister Chris Carter and Education Ministry boss Karen Sewell. It wants changes to schools’ national guidelines.

Schools should also introduce confidential pupil surveys to identify actual bullying levels, as the problem was probably under-reported, he said. “Educational achievement and bullying are obviously the key issues. It is important that schools have a clear regulatory environment which makes it clear what their responsibilities are.”

Writing to Ms Noonan, the parents called state agencies’ dysfunctional response to Hutt Valley High violence a “systematic failure likely to be involved in other cases of school violence”.

They allege some schools are under-reporting violence to protect their reputations and attract lucrative foreign fee-paying pupils, but say state agencies must act.

“The impact of school-based violence is wider than the physical pain suffered … Fear cripples the ability to learn, denying the victim’s right to education.”

The ministry says schools can already hold confidential “eliminating violence” surveys. They had to provide safe environments for pupils and follow New Zealand laws, including the Bill of Rights.

Schools were monitored by the Education Review Office, which found most had good practices to manage bullying.

No plans existed to amend national guidelines, but respect for human rights was a core value in the new curriculum. (Source) © Fairfax New Zealand Limited 2007.

The so-called human rights [sic] commissioner Rosslyn Noonan has made a mockery of human rights in New Zealand. Her role is not to uphold human rights, but to protect the establishment and their “asset,” the New Zealand government, against complaints of breaches of human rights. The outcome of this complaint would only serve to strengthen the case against the grotesquely inappropriate choice of “commissioner,” Rosslyn Noonan, and the government-controlled human rights commission!

Violent assaults among secondary school students are increasing, and girls are adopting a similar “pack mentality” to boy bullies. —Children’s Commissioner.

Yet Another Victim of New Zealand Tourism: Murdered in New Zealand in the Prime of Her Life

Karen Aim, 26, a Scottish tourist, was found in a pool of blood, caused by a serious head injury, on a street corner in Taupo, New Zealand. She spoke with the responding officers and gave her name. It’s not known whether her life could have been saved had the authorities acted professionally. Karen’s body will be flown to Scotland and then by boat to her home in Orkney Islands.

Six English and Dutch Tourists Injured in Knife Attack

Eight English and Dutch tourists, including two women, while walking through a shopping mall in the center of Christchurch on Saturday, were attacked by five knife-wielding New Zealanders in their late teens to early 20s. Six of the tourists were stabbed and required hospital treatment, one with critical injuries.

English Tourist Raped in New Zealand: Good Morning Miss. Will You Pay Cash or by Credit Card?

A 27-year-old English tourist was seriously sexually assaulted [syn: RAPED] while walking at a beauty spot (!) near Bay of Islands. The victim was dragged from the track and raped by a white male in his mid to late 30s.

The latest rape incident occurred in the same place where a honeymooning Dutch couple were viciously attacked over a year ago. The Dutch couple were tied up; the bride was raped by the attackers, and the couple were later forced to withdraw money from an ATM to pay the rapists.

Missing tourist’s family may sell home to fund search

The brother of missing Israeli tourist says the family may have to sell their home in Israel to help fund the search for his sister. The misssing woman failed to return to Queenstown on March 27 after a day out walking on a track in Fiordland. Police has called off an official search for Ms Okin, but her brother has now set up a trust to fund a private search for her. “We don’t believe in people just disappearing,” he told The Press. The Malevolent NZ Authorities are violating the tourists’ human rights and are party to the crimes perpetrated against them through concealment of tourist murder statistics, misrepresentation of facts about tourist safety, and negligence in failing to provide adequate protection for the visitors!

CASF Human Rights Team has asked the NZ Ministry of Justice and several other ministries for a list of foreigners who have been murdered or ‘accidentally’ killed in New Zealand in the past few years. Unfortunately, the New Zealand authorities declined to provide any information.

According to nztourmaps.com, a New Zealand tourism promotion company, about 779 overseas visitors were killed in New Zealand between 2001 to 2006. [Note: the figure provided may be a gross underestimate, though it still means overseas visitors are 7 times more likely to be killed in New Zealand than in Australia.]

PM of New Zealand and the felonious members of her malevolent government MUST be held jointly and severally responsible for each and every incident of murder, rape, assault, or harm that befalls the UNSUSPECTING tourists in that country. The morally repugnant b*stards should be sued for every ill-gotten penny they have got!
