International cash cows won’t be deported [naturally]
At least 70 international students, who shouldn’t have been sent to this country in the first place, won’t be able to continue studying the course they enrolled in because they have failed a reassessment.
The students had been studying at Auckland’s International Academy of New Zealand (IANZ) until it closed earlier this year when Newshub reported staff at the institute had falsified students’ English language test results.
IANZ was investigated by NZQA then bought by tertiary college EDENZ.
Nearly 330 Level 6 students were retested. Just 46 former IANZ students passed the reassessment and are now studying at EDENZ, while 213 others had “borderline” results.
“We are continuing to work with these students and are encouraging them to think carefully about their options,” said NZQA’s deputy chief executive.
[NZ porn industry would no doubt welcome them with open arms. Editor]
“An NZQA spokeswoman told Herald 213 of the 329 students who were reassessed had ‘borderline’ results and would be allowed to complete their qualification at EDENZ if they were able to catch up.” http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=11715767
[Of course they’ll catch up!! Don’t be stupid. If they leave the country, they’ll take their money with them. Editor! ]

The Minister for Tertiary Education and his department are aware international students are being “exploited” —W. Peters
“If you bring people into the country, force them to get low wages on the basis that they will be able to stay, give them a work permit as well, and they can’t stay because of the illegality they’re involved in – then it is a form of people trafficking,” Peters said.
The NZ First leader, Winston Peters, said thousands of international students had been promised they could stay in New Zealand, “which is a false promise made at the time of the application”.
The Cash Cow
Tertiary Education Minister Steven Joyce says [the cash cow] in New Zealand are a “good news story overall”.
And who would disagree? Some 125,000 international students generate about three and a half billion dollars in income for New Zealand.
Both Peters and Labour leader Andrew Little have also described international students as a “cash cow”.

Auckland Mayor Len Brown says Asian students are not targeted!
@*^%#!&^*, Mr Brown!
Four separate brutal attacks have left at least six Asian students, both male and female, bloodied, battered and terrified in the last week alone.
“…on Thursday, a male Chinese student [victim no. 5] walking to Unitec in Mt Albert was set upon by two men who beat him so severely photos show his face and upper body smeared in blood.
“They kicked him and stomped on his head, breaking his glasses, and stole his laptop, before escaping in a car.”
Local Board deputy chairwoman Susan Zhu said the incidents have caused widespread fear among the Chinese community.
“Some students have raised the issue with me that they feel very scared to go out and lots of parents in New Zealand and outside New Zealand are worried.”
While there was an element of “wrong place, wrong time” Mrs Zhu questioned whether enough was being done to keep visitors safe.
“People have been talking about the city’s stakeholders, for example, the police, whose first priority is to keep the community safe and in these three cases they have failed to keep our young students – who are our guests and who contribute hugely to our city – safe.”

At least four attacks on Asian students reported in Auckland last week
“The spate of aggravated robberies have targeted international students —using extensive violence to take handbags, phones, laptops, bank cards and shoes,” according to a report.
In the latest series of attacks, multiple male and female Chinese and Japanese students studying at University of Auckland and Unitec have been targeted.
In the most recent incident, which occurred on Monday evening, four youths were arrested after trying to steal a handbag from a young [Asian] woman who was walking along Khyber Pass near the corner of Broadway in Newmarket. The young woman was pushed to the ground [and was left heavily bruised] during the incident, police said. http://www.police.govt.nz/news/release/police-concerned-student-assaults

Welcome to the world’s deadliest tourist destination!
In New Zealand DEATH becomes you
About 3,400 international students, visitors, workers… have lost their lives and 18,000 others seriously injured in New Zealand since 2000.
Our statistical model, using multiple samples, shows that about 3,400 foreign students, visitors, workers and new immigrants have lost their lives and 18,000 others seriously injured in New Zealand since January 2000.
More foreign visitors killed in NZ than in the rest of the world combined
Based on extensive research, the blog moderators believe that more foreigners have died in this country than in the rest of the world (ROW) combined (non-military operations), making New Zealand the deadliest destination for foreign visitors.
- The 500 or foreigners who are missing in New Zealand without a trace, are not included in the above stats.
- Iraq Coalition Military Fatalities between 2003 and 2015 stands at 4,811.
- Afghanistan Coalition Military Fatalities between 2001 and 2015 is 3,493 as of posting. http://icasualties.org/
Proudly Killed in NZ [ https://newzeelend.wordpress.com/killed-in-nz/ ]
- Readers will note that only a tiny fraction of Road or “Accidental” Deaths are reported in New Zealand. That also goes for Rapes, Murders, violent crimes…
- Starting December 2011, NZ government has again intensified the censorship of information concerning the numbers of international students and foreign visitors killed in New Zealand to protect the tourist industry (cash cow).
- For every tourist killed in New Zealand at least FIVE others are seriously/critically injured. Names of the victims who are critically injured, for example as a result of road crash, and die later, either on the way to hospital, or while waiting for emergency treatment, remain as State Secrets.
On Tuesday, 22 February 2011 at 12:51pm local time a magnitude 6.3 earthquake struck Canterbury Region in New Zealand’s South Island. The shock was centered about 10 kilometres (6 mi) south-east of the centre of Christchurch, New Zealand’s third-most populous city, causing widespread damage across the city and killing at least 185 people, about a half of whom were international students from at least 16 countries.
The following WARNING had been posted on this blog two years before the deadly earthquake struck:

Submitted by a reader:
International students in Christchurch can now complain anonymously about racial harassment online. Really?
According to a report, 50 percent of the international students who took part in a recent survey said they experienced racial harassment in New Zealand.
What the report doesn’t tell you, of course, is the racial distribution of respondents. What percentage of those who answered the survey were “colored” international students? If only 50 percent of them were “colored” and they all answered positive to racial harassment, your survey result would only register 50 percent racial harassments.
Any survey that tells you less than 100 percent of “colored” students experienced racial harassment in Christchurch, New Zealand, is not worth the paper it’s printed on.
Complain anonymously, indeed. Then try chasing your complaint. [If the issue wasn’t so serious, the moderator would be ROFL.] They really take “colored” students for fools and imbeciles, don’t they!
My friend who is a Caucasian and his Japanese spouse experienced more than 50 incidents of racial harassment, some very serious incidents including damage to their property, in a nine months period they stayed in New Zealand. They complained to the police and the local Member of Parliament, and lodged a formal complaint with the so-called Human Rights Commission. No action was taken by any of those authorities to address their grievances.
The best thing “colored” international students who were inadvertently lured to New Zealand could do would be to cut loss and leave the country. You may just be saving your life!
