NZ government (police and Ministry of Resurrection) under-report road fatalities in the same way Puerto Rican officials (US Govt) misled the world following Hurricane Maria. Death toll from the destructive storm was reported at only 64, instead of the scientifically researched total of 2,975.

In NZ, about two-thirds of road fatalities go unreported, or unrecorded by the authorities to protect the cutthroat tourism and banking! [See blog entries under Ministry of Resurrection.]

UPDATE 2: Fatal crash SH 1 Atiamuri
Tuesday, 13 November 2018 – 10:14am – [Bay of Plenty of Deaths]

Despite their earlier report suggesting multiple fatalities, police insisted “just one person has died in a crash between a car and a truck on State Highway 1 at Atiamuri this morning.”

“The deceased was the sole occupant of the car. The truck driver was uninjured. The complex scene examination is continuing, and the road is likely to remain closed for several more hours.”

Earlier, police suggested multiple fatalities. However, they have since removed the report from their website.

The victim was 26-year-old Erica Jones who lived in Gisborne, police said.
“Police continue to investigate the fatal crash involving a car and a logging truck on State Highway 35 near Gisborne on Saturday morning.”

Driver’s parents and girlfriend killed in triple fatality

Triple Fatal Hamilton Crash – Name release –
Tuesday, 13 November 2018 – 7:33pm – Waikato

Police have finally released  the names of the three people killed in the crash [long after the victims were identified by the corporate media] on Mangaharakeke Road in Hamilton on Sunday 11 November. They were Jeremy Kay, 47; Tania Kay, 44; and Grace Hill, 16.

“On Monday, Mitchell [Kay, son of the first two victims, who was driving] and the driver of the other vehicle were both stable in a ward at Waikato Hospital, a hospital spokeswoman said.”
