Kiwis failing drug tests, that’s why we need more migrants: PM from Hell

Only three vehicle-related fatality reports allowed so far today!

Sent by a reader

It never occurred to the CORRUPT Prime Minister to address the drug problem that is destroying the country…

The young Kiwis failing workplace drug tests won’t just go away. They will replace the current generations of murderers, rapists, car thieves and burglars. And that’s why the addicts are needed. They enrich the establishment’s mega pushers, and promote the need for a dysfunctional police state.

PM defends net migration levels, says foreign workers needed because Kiwis failing drug tests

English defended the latest increase in net migration today and said he was not looking at curbing demand, despite 140,000 New Zealanders being out of work.

Speaking at his weekly press conference, English said the Government was still getting “robust” complaints from businesses that they could not fill vacancies, especially the hospitality and horticulture industries.

Asked why jobless New Zealanders could not fill these roles, English said: “One of the hurdles these days is just passing a drugs test.

Prime Minister from Hell: Bill English. I’m the frigging Prime Minister. It’s not my job to feed the poor, house the homeless, educate the stupid, or solve the drug problem. I’m here to look after the interests of the super wealthy and grant citizenship to Internet pirates and other international criminals. Photo credit: WARWICK SMITH/FAIRFAX NZ

Hundreds of whales killed in mass stranding at Farewell Spit

Posted by te2ataria on February 11, 2017

NO road fatality report allowed on Friday!

######

About 420 whales beached at Farewell Spit in Golden Bay

It is said to be New Zealand’s third-worst recorded whale stranding.

At least 340 pilot whales have died after a mass stranding on Farewell Spit, and about 80 were still alive tonight.

“The whales were reportedly stranded about one kilometre from the base, inside the Farewell Spit.

Project Jonah said there were many reasons for whales to strand. If they were old, or sick, a whale might struggle to keep up with the pod. Underwater explosions caused by sonar, seismic testing or underwater sea quakes could also have an impact on them,” said a report.   http://www.stuff.co.nz/nelson-mail/news/89265113/mass-whale-stranding-at-farewell-spit

A man who allegedly brandished a firearm at police was “extremely lucky” to be alive after being shot in the face, police say. [Translation: Police followed their shot-to-kill policy, but missed.]

Police [thankfully incompetent] marksmen fired at least 6 shots, but missed five times, said Acting Canterbury Police District Commander. The sixth bullet missed the upper part of the head and hit the 24-year-old Christchurch victim in the cheek.

What was the role of NZ government in Xero’s rapid growth?

Posted by te2ataria on February 4, 2017

Sent by a reader

Peter Theil screwed NZ taxpayers without even kissing them, thanks to incompetent/corrupt government!

Peter Thiel, the gay German/American billionaire, pocketed tens of millions of dollars from a joint venture funded by New Zealand taxpayers, while his publicly funded investment partner almost suffered a loss, said a report.

“The partnering of Thiel’s Valar Ventures and the Government-owned New Zealand Venture Investment Fund (NZVIF) was launched by minister Steven Joyce in March 2012,” said a report.

Joyce said at the time the venture was “part of the Government’s comprehensive business growth agenda”, but a Herald investigation has discovered the arrangement was quietly ended in October when Thiel activated a generous buyback option allowing him and his private partners to claim all profits from the venture by cheaply buying out his public co-investor.

A Wall St analyst told the Weekend Herald the clause left the Government facing a “horrendous risk-return proposition” that had no place in agreements between commercial parties.

Thiel netted at least $30 million after investing  just $6.8m, while NZVIF received just $10.2m after having earlier invested $9m.

“If a professional investor signed this deal, they would be the butt of their colleagues’ jokes all the way out the door,” the analyst told Herald.

Despite claims at the time of launch that Valar Ventures would invest $40m in local technology companies, it ended up committing only $18m — the bulk of which went towards accumulating shares in the NZX-listed cloud accountancy software company Xero.

Xero share price soared from $3 to as high as $45 in a short period of time, making the Xero-dominated Valar Ventures extremely valuable. “By mid-2016 its stash of Xero shares was worth $43m, representing the vast bulk of the fund’s value.”

What’s missing from the Herald report is the role of NZ government in helping to make Xero so valuable! Did they award the accounting software company large government contracts?
