Three More American Students Killed in New Zealand

Posted by te2ataria on May 13, 2012

Foreigners Nos. 2,468th, 2,469th and 2,470th   killed in New Zealand

The victims might have been still alive today had the information posted on this site reached them

Boston University students Daniela Rosanna Lekhno, Roch Jauberty and Austin Brashears, aged 20 to 21, were horrifically killed on Saturday when their vehicle went out of control on State Highway 46 and rolled 3 times near Rangipo, 10km south of Turangi, in the North Island.

Five other students were injured in the crash.  Margaret Theriault, 21, who was studying in Sydney, remains in a critical condition in intensive care at Waikato Hospital.

“The students were just over a month away from finishing their exchange studies at Auckland University and wanted to see where the Lord of the Rings was filmed,” according to a report.

“While the details of this crash are still sketchy, it appears that poor road design has contributed to this tragedy,” said safety campaigner Clive Matthew-Wilson.

Two other women, Alys McAlpine and Kathy Moldawer, aged 20 and 21, remain in Rotorua Hospital in a stable condition, while Stephen Houseman, 20, and Emily Melton, also 20, were treated at the Taupo Hospital emergency department and later discharged.

All of the students except the woman in a critical condition were enrolled in a Boston University study abroad program in Auckland, says Bernd Widdig, executive director of BU’s study abroad programs,

On average, 3 foreigners are murdered/killed in New Zealand every 4 days.

Studios Need Quake Prayer Sheets

Posted by te2ataria on October 30, 2010

U.S. Film Studios: ASS Backwards

New Line, Warner Bros and MGM Need Earthquake Prayer Sheets

Happy Filming!!

As the US movie studios backing filming of The Hobbit thank director  Sir Peter Jackson and NZ PM Don Key for an additional $20m tax break and guarantying to  change the law so there would be no possibility that contract workers could go to court and claim employee rights, we [rudely awakened by the latest earthquake in Gisborne] ask, shouldn’t the studios first work on their earthquake prayer sheets?

New Zealand Earthquake Forecast

Filming is scheduled to begin in February 2011, which coincides with new waves of seismic activity throughout New Zealand!

Removing the Last Hints of Employee Rights

“Yesterday parliament passed a labour law change the Government said was an essential part of the deal to ensure the movies stayed in New Zealand,” according to a report.

Thank You [you lovable, corrupt, little fascists] Statement

“We’d like to thank Prime Minister Key, his cabinet and the other dedicated New Zealand officials for their support and cooperation, which helped assuage our concerns and enabled us to keep The Hobbit in its proper home of New Zealand.” New Line, Warner Bros and MGM said in a statement.

May You Film in Interesting Times!!

Fly to NZ and Help Make the World a CO2-Rich Place!

Posted by te2ataria on July 10, 2008

Get a Life! Be a CO2 Douche – Fly to Apartheid New Zealand!

What’s all that about?

Everyone in New Zealand starting from the un-authorities to the “tarts” and “crumpets” at advertising agencies is scratching their butts trying to get more tourists into the country for fleecing.

More and more conscientious visitors from the US and Britain are opting out, however, canceling their high-carbon visits to apartheid New Zealand. Intelligent people know that flying to New Zealand is an act of eco-terrorism.

Flying to New Zealand once produces 50 percent less carbon dioxide than flying to New Zealand twice!

On a return flight from the United States to New Zealand, each visitor produces about 7.4 metric tons of CO2 pollution; a UK visitor produces about 17.64 metric tons of CO2.

[Note: Driving an average passenger car in the US over a year, traveling 12,500 miles (20,112 km) and consuming 581 gallons (2,200 liters) of gasoline, produces about 11,450 pounds (5.2 metric tons) of carbon dioxide. A couple on a return flight from the US to NZ produce as much CO2 as driving their car for about THREE years! A European/UK couple on a return flight to NZ produce more CO2 than in EIGHT years of driving.]

Unfortunately, three American tourists were last seen visiting the exact spot on Wellington’s Mount Victoria, where F**king “Frodo from Lord of the Rings stood looking troubled.”

Saatchi and Saatchi, the vampires of commercialism, with their corny slogans and downright dishonest tricks on “selling” New Zealand, are back, again, on the government payroll: “Our remoteness is our strength.” [Recall George Orwell’s famous slogan perpetuated by The Party:”War is Peace; Freedom is Slavery; Ignorance is Strength.” ]

No! That is false:

Your remoteness means 17.4 metric tons of CO2 pollution produced per UK visitor.

Here is another one of theirs: “This is as far away as you can get …”

Wrong again! The earth is round, you advertising morons!

Come to Unforgettable New Zealand: Where you could get killed for the first time in your life!

And another: “New Zealand, the place where almost nothing happens and isn’t that refreshing?”

That’s a big lie and a load of BS, and they know it. A hell of a lot happens in New Zealand: If you don’t get killed in New Zealand, you’ll probably end up looking like this:

BASHED: This 24-year-old man suffered severe facial injuries, including two black and bleeding eyes, after a vicious assault. (Source: Stuff NZ.) Image may be subject to copyright. See NewZeelend Fair Use Notice!

Or like Robbie …

Robbie O’Brien
Robbie O’Brien, 31, was attacked by a group of muggers in Westport, New Zealand.

Or hundreds of others who have been murdered, raped, mugged and viciously assaulted.

Here’s a one:

You’ll never be out of reach of a murderer, a rapist, or a psychopath in New Zealand; they’ll be in touch; they’ll always find you!

Numbers of Tourists Leaving New Zealand in Body Bags!

Even if you go by the doctored statistics of Land Transport New Zealand, at least 413 people died on New Zealand’s death roads in the last 12 months. Statistically, up to 50 percent of the dead may have been tourists. But this information is not made available by the NZ un-authorities. Nor are any statistics concerning the cases of serious injuries among the tourists.

According to nztourmaps.com, a New Zealand tourism promotion company, about 779 overseas visitors were killed in New Zealand between 2001 to 2006. That’s 195 visitors each year who were murdered or killed one way or another from the end of 2001 to the beginning of 2006. [Note: The figure provided may be grossly underestimated, however, it still means overseas visitors are 7 times more likely to be killed in New Zealand than in Australia.] But even this information is not readily available. In fact, NZ Govt. and its agencies have repeatedly declined to provide the Moderators and their colleagues with the numbers of foreigners who lose their lives in New Zealand each year.

So, here are some more HONEST slogans about puke green New Zealand:

Adventure New Zealand: You are 7 times more likely to be killed in New Zealand than in Australia.

Come to New Zealand: You are twice more likely to be killed on our roads than even in Germany.

Visit New Zealand! Experience the unique feeling of leaving the country in a body bag!
