Reward of up to $30,000 offered to locate missing person Yoon Sook CHUN

Yoon Sook Chun, 47, is one of more than 500 foreigners missing in New Zealand.

Mrs Chun was last seen on May 18, 2009, shortly before she left her Christchurch home.

Canterbury Police said:

“Mrs Chun was last seen six years ago and over that time it is also possible that loyalties will have changed, or someone who hoped she would be found without them getting involved will step up and contact police.

“We urge anyone who knows anything and hasn’t spoken to police before to come forward, so that police can decide whether the information is of importance to the investigation or not.

“If you are Mrs Chun please contact police.”

The offer would be valid until October 1, police said.

Mrs Chun “held both a New Zealand and South Korean passport.  Neither passport have been used to travel out of the country since her disappearance.”

Blog moderators sincerely hope Mrs Chun, who is a mother of two, is still alive. However, the chances of that are pretty slim.

Will the Missing Aussie Be Found Alive?

Posted by te2ataria on December 5, 2009

The Keyword May Well Prove to Be ‘Olive-Skinned’

An Australian tourist has been reported missing in Lyttelton, about 12 km by road from Christchurch, New Zea;land’s second murder capital. The thick blue line say they are concerned for his safety. They should know!

Michael Craig’s “travelling companion,” who remains unnamed, reported the 45-yo  as missing.

After a drink with his travelling companion the Lyttelton Hotel, Mr Craig left the premises going for a walk at about 2am Friday morning.

He is described an olive-skinned Caucasian.

What, an olive-skinned foreigner with the wrong accent walking at 2:00am near Christchurch gone missing ?

It’s sincerely hoped that Mr Craig  would be found alive and well. Realistically, however, his olive skin may well have determined his fate.

The thick blue line has released the following bulletin:
