WARNING! SEVERE Karmic Booms Striking Racist, Morally Repugnant NZ!

Mycoplasma bovis confirmed in the Wairarapa -MPI

This new property brings the total number of infected properties nationwide to at least 36. Biosecurity New Zealand says it expects to find further infected properties as the tracing of animal movements continues.

Cattle cull reaches 24,500 in M bovis battle

Some 24,500 cattle have been culled in the fight against Mycoplasma bovis so far, a report said.

“It was estimated as many as 126,000 cattle [v. low estimate?] may need to be culled when the government announced the plan to eradicate the disease almost two weeks ago.”

Safe Drinking Water: Poo dumping has long plagued NZ

Synergy: Poo dumping and Mycoplasma bovis!

‘I wouldn’t be drinking that water’: Poo dumping plagues Waikato

More effluent is being dumped on the side of Waterworks Road, just metres away from the Topehaehae Stream, which supplies drinking water to hundreds of people in Morrinsville.

A Waikato farmer is worried truck drivers are dumping stock effluent on a road, next to a stream supplying drinking water to hundreds of people.. Others are also worried effluent discarded on roads could hinder efforts to stop Mycoplasma bovis from spreading in the region.”

‘Dinosaurs’ in Toxic New Zealand

Residents say they are falling ill because of emissions from Bob Clarkson’s building

Toxic organic dust coming from a building owned by a controversial former National Party MP is believed to have caused health problems for neighbours, at least two of whom have been hospitalised.

The dust is from stock feed stored at a large warehouse built and owned by Bob Clarkson on Tauranga Airport land.

Clarkson famously knocked Winston Peters off his throne in Tauranga in 2005, but served only one term in Parliament, during which he was dogged by allegations of sexual harassment and his offensive comments about Muslims and homosexuals.

Harmful animals like Bob Clarkson and Bob Jones ought to be stuffed and kept in Auckland Museum!

Mycoplasma bovis hits Waikato farm, the 39th across the country!

Posted by te2ataria on May 14, 2018

WARNING! SEVERE Karmic Booms Striking NZ!

| ♠ |

Mycoplasma bovis infects at least 39 properties across the country, thanks to the tracking system!!

[In July 2017, the bacterial infection Mycoplasma bovis was found in cattle in the Oamaru area of the South Island, and has since spread to at least 39 properties across the country, thanks to the MPI tracking system!]

“Biosecurity New Zealand (a unit of the Ministry for Primary Industries) today confirmed that a farm in the Cambridge area has tested positive for Mycoplasma bovis. [Thank God, the infection isn’t the same as the mad cow disease, or CJD. Editor]”

Abysmally Failed Tracking System

“The Waikato region dairy farm was identified through the tracing of cattle movements from infected properties and has been put through an exhaustive testing process to achieve a reliable result. The farm is under strict controls preventing the movement of animals and other risk goods on and off the property.

“Biosecurity New Zealand’s response director Geoff Gwyn says it is very disappointing to find the disease in another of New Zealand’s key dairying regions.

“It was, however, not a huge surprise, given the sheer number of farms we are uncovering that have received cows and calves from affected farms.”

Poor Record Keeping – Farmer Shafted by Farmer

“It’s a reality of New Zealand’s farming system that large numbers of animals are sold and moved across big distances. This response is serving to underline just how much movement takes place and it is this, coupled with poor record keeping through NAIT that is making our job very challenging.”

The new Cambridge positive takes the number of infected properties across the country to 39.  More…

  • To protect the tourist industry and massive foreign investment, about two out of every three road fatalities [and other tourists deaths] go unreported, or the dead are statistically resurrected by NZ government’s “Ministry of Resurrection”.

Foreigners Killed in NZ Since 2000
At least 4,500 overseas visitors, international students, foreign workers, recent emigrants and refugees have lost their lives and more than 30,000 others seriously injured in New Zealand between Jan 2000 and Jan 2018.

MPI detects Mycoplasma bovis in 3 new properties

In July 2017, MPI detected the bacterial infection Mycoplasma bovis in cattle in the South Island…

Mycoplasma bovis is a bacterium that causes illness in cattle, including udder infection (mastitis), abortion, pneumonia, and arthritis.

The disease was confirmed in July 2017 on 2 farms in a 16 farm dairy enterprise in South Canterbury. In August 2017 a third infected farm was confirmed in the Oamaru area. All 3 affected properties and the remaining 14 corporate farms in the group are under legal controls (a Restricted Place Notice) restricting the movement of stock and equipment off those farms to contain the disease…

August 29 update: The Ministry for Primary Industries’ tracing and testing programme has identified 3 new properties positive for the bacterial cattle disease Mycoplasma bovis.

These latest detections bring the total number of infected farms to 6.

Two of the newly identified properties are Van Leeuwen Dairy Group farms and were already under Restricted Place notices under the Biosecurity Act

The third property was a trace farm that had received a small number of calves from the third infected farm confirmed last week. The property is a lifestyle block near Rangiora.

Mr Yard said MPI is continuing with its [senseless] policy of not naming the affected properties if the owners did not want this.

“MPI is prevented from doing otherwise by the Privacy Act. However, we do understand community concern about the disease and we are strongly encouraging farmers under controls or investigation to talk to their neighbours, customers and suppliers.” [Source: MPI]

Cow disease outbreak: Farmers demand answers

Farmers meeting about the Mycoplasma bovis outbreak, a dangerous cattle disease, are pushing for answers from the government because of its slow response to the infection.

“Mycoplasma bovis is a bacterium that causes illness in cattle, including udder infection (mastitis), abortion, pneumonia, and arthritis. It does not infect humans and presents no food safety risk. There is no concern about consuming milk and milk products from affected cattle,” according to MPI.

The disease was first confirmed (July 2017) in 14 cows at a South Canterbury dairy farm and about 150 animals are showing clinical signs consistent with the disease.

“To date 25 animals on the first affected farm have been euthanised by the farmer for welfare reasons. A further group of affected animals has been checked by a vet and is fit for transport to slaughter.”

BAD KARMA EVENT: Lethal oyster parasite Bonamia found on farms

MPI confirms flat oyster stocks removal from Big Glory Bay

The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) has today confirmed it will be working with flat oyster farmers to urgently remove all flat oyster stocks from marine farms in Big Glory Bay on Stewart Island.  This is due to the recent detection of Bonamia ostreae in 2 of the marine farms.

“Science has strongly guided our decision.  The epidemiology of Bonamia ostreae, and the proximity of the 2 affected marine farms to others, means there is a strong risk of spread to those farms, and increasing the threat to the wild population.  Removing all of the flat oyster stocks from the marine farms in Big Glory Bay significantly reduces this risk,” says MPI Director Readiness and Response Services Geoff Gwyn.

“We acknowledge the strong feeling among locals to act quickly, however, our main consideration has been establishing the best process for the removal of the oysters. The last thing the community and industry needs is a rushed removal process that causes more harm than good.

“We’re confident that the movement controls already in place have given us the time to get this next stage right.  We will be working closely with the marine farmers to outline the plan for the removal of the oysters.

“While we appreciate enthusiasm from the local community and offers of help, the removal of the affected oysters without causing further spread is a very particular process and will require expert direction.”

MPI will also be working with Marlborough marine farms to remove all flat oyster stocks to remove disease pressure in New Zealand.

Sampling to date has found no evidence of Bonamia ostreae in Bluff oysters in Foveaux Strait, however, MPI is continuing its sampling and surveillance.

There is no food safety issue from eating oysters with Bonamia ostreae.  Fresh, good quality New Zealand oysters continue to be safe to eat.

“We have been in contact with the affected Big Glory Bay and Marlborough marine farmers.  We appreciate this isn’t positive news for these farmers.  We would like to thank them for their input and cooperation to date,” says Mr Gwyn.

If the flat oysters in the marine farms are at harvest age, they can be harvested for consumption, however, this will need to be decided by individual farmers.

Compensation under the Biosecurity Act, including the process for applying, is a matter MPI will be discussing with the affected Big Glory Bay and Marlborough farmers.

While flat oysters are farmed in Big Glory Bay and Marlborough, mussels form the bulk of the marine farming operations in those areas.

Seafood such as Greenshell mussels and Pacific (rock) oysters aren’t affected by Bonamia ostreae, but they can carry and transmit it to flat oysters.  However, this seafood also expels Bonamia ostreae and, once expelled, the Bonamia ostreae generally dies within 24 hours, so the risk of spread is low.

A Controlled Area Notice remains in place legally restricting movements of some shellfish species, including their spat, into and out of Nelson, Marlborough Sounds and Stewart Island.  It also legally restricts movements of farm equipment and vessels associated with shellfish within and out of Stewart Island to limit further spread.

Bonamia ostreae

In May 2017, MPI detected the flat oyster parasite Bonamia ostreae on 2 flat oyster farms on Stewart Island. Find out about the parasite and what we’re doing to try to control its spread.

 Millions of oysters

“Big Glory Bay is growing millions of oysters in total, but many are sown in among hundreds of millions of mussels, and a cull of the lot would cost millions of dollars,” said a report.

“In 2016, 244 people (217 men, 27 women) were first known to be infected with HIV in New Zealand, 118 through Western Blot antibody testing and 126 through viral load testing. Of these 244, 30 had been previously diagnosed overseas.

“Of the 244, 159 were men who have sex with men (MSM), 5 men were infected through either sex with another man or injecting drug use, 42 people (22 men, 20 women) were infected through heterosexual contact, and one person was infected by injecting drug use (IDU). For the remaining 37 people (30 men, 7 women) the means of infection was unknown or information is still to be received.

“The total number of diagnoses in 2016 (244) was higher than in 2015 (224). Among MSM the number diagnosed rose from 136 in 2014, 153 in 2015, to 159 in 2016. However, the number diagnosed each year will not be the same as the number infected, as people may be infected a number of years before being diagnosed.”

“Overall 23 people (20 men, 3 women) were notified with AIDS in 2016, compared to nine people in 2015. Of the 23, 16 (70%) were MSM, 4 (17%) were infected heterosexually, 2 men (9%) were infected by either sex with another man or injecting drug use, and for one person (4%) the means of transmission was not reported.

“Twelve (52%) were of European ethnicity, 4 (18%) Māori, 6 (26%) Asian, and 1 (4%) Pacific Islander. Sixteen people had their AIDS diagnosis within three months of being diagnosed

with HIV and would probably not have had the opportunity for antiretroviral treatment to control progression of their HIV infection.”

Indian dairy owner’s teenage killer paroled and sent back to school

A teenager who stabbed and killed an Indian dairy worker in West Auckland has been released from a youth justice facility.

Arun Kumar, 57, was killed in June 2014 after being stabbed by a then-14-year-old and his 12-year-old friend.

The teenager, who was granted permanent name suppression in High Court, was found guilty of Kumar’s manslaughter [NOT murder, of course] and jailed for six years, but later released on appeal.

Just Like That!

The racist, shameful, frigging judges in the “Court of Appeal ruled the sentencing judge failed to take into full consideration the effects a traumatic brain injury had on his behaviour on the day of Kumar’s death.”

If the teenage murderer had a brain injury, why wasn’t  he kept under some kind of supervision?

Why is he now set free and sent back to school, where he can kill again?

How wealthy/ well-connected  is his family?

Why did the court fail to take into account the victim’s right to live?

Wasn’t Arun Kumar conveniently eliminated from the “justice” equation because he was an Indian, and therefore expendable?

“What did I do wrong? Why do you have kill so many Indians in New Zealand with impunity?” Slain Henderson dairy owner Arun Kumar, 57. Photo: supplied/via stuff NZ

New Zealand Farmer of the Year

Posted by te2ataria on August 19, 2016

Sent by a reader in ‘Moo-Town’

Dairy farmer breaks tail of dozens of cows

Jeffrey Antony Wright, 36, who was working as manager of a large dairy farm at Queens Flat in North Otago, says he was under “a huge amount of stress” and unable to control his frustrations with his herd.

He decided to punish the four-legged creatures by breaking their tails!

A vet who examined the tails of all 1,065 cows on the dairy farm “found several cows with broken tails, including eight that had been fractured in the past fortnight – three of which had compound fractures with either bone protruding through the skin or the skin having been ruptured at the fracture”, said a report.

“The level of pain from a broken tail is equivalent to having a person’s fingers broken and interferes with the animal mating, defecation and swatting flies. It is an injury that requires veterinary care”, according to an official report.

“The level of pain from a broken tail is equivalent to having a person’s fingers broken and interferes with the animal mating, defecation and swatting flies. It is an injury that requires veterinary care”.

Wright has admitted to wilfully ill-treating eight dairy cows by breaking their tails and recklessly ill-treating 40 more cows by breaking their tails.

The cruel and sadistic farmer was not a “cruel or sadistic man”, says Zombie Judge

Judge Tom Gilbert said the wilful ill-treatment charge was very serious. It carries a maximum sentence of five years in jail or a fine up to $100,000. However, because the [cruel or sadistic] farmer was not a “cruel or sadistic man”, he would probably sentence him to home detention in November.

“Can you live with your mum [without breaking her tail?]” Judge Gilbert asked Wright.

“It’d be better than jail time, for sure,” he replied.

[Thank god the sadist wasn’t a schoolmaster!]
