Canadian Woman Killed in New Zealand

Posted by te2ataria on June 5, 2011

First Victim of the Violent Explosion in Auckland was a Canadian Woman

Canadian mother-of-two Philomen Gulland, 48, was killed in yesterday’s violent explosion.

Six others were injured in the explosion including at least one person who has undergone surgery and is reported to be in a critical condition.

A gas build-up is said to have caused the explosion, a policeman last night said the cause was still unclear.

“Emergency services remain at the scene and air is being pumped into the space in an effort to make it safe so that a thorough scene examination can be carried out and to enable the maintenance work to continue as scheduled,” the cop said.

“One worker, who did not want to be identified because he and others had been told by project manager Watercare not to talk to media, said workers were routinely given gas-detecting monitors to wear when they went into the tunnel.” The report said.

“You would go down into a hole but you would have to take a gas monitor with you. When it [the monitor] goes off it makes a hell of a noise, plus it has lights that go off.

“God knows what type of bloody gas is in there. We’re playing with fire every day.” The worker said.

An eyewitness said he was walking close to the site when the explosion occurred and saw mud burst from the hole and workers screaming for help.

“I could hear screaming and people yelling `help, help, help’,” Kaiawe said.

Another eyewitness who saw emergency services arrive, said a man being taken from the trench, who appeared to have lost a limb.

“He was in a lot of pain, screaming. I’m sure he only had one arm…There was a lot of blood.”

Tema also saw a body brought up. “They were covered up, there was a lot of blood lying by the stretcher. The images, I can just still picture them.”

Timaru Death ‘Suspicious’

In a rare admission, the police farce say a body found by a member of the public just below an access way on Quarry Rd, Timaru  at 9.00am today “appears to be suspicious.”

It took the police 7 hours to finally remove the body, said to be that of a  woman aged between 20 and 40. [The victims appears to be an Asian, given that it was so difficult to tell the age. Moderator DH]

Mystery Gas Causes Fatal Explosion

Posted by te2ataria on June 4, 2011

UNIDENTIFIED gas explosion in Auckland suburb kills at least one, injures 6

First version of this story posted on June 4, 2011, at 2:33 pm

48-year-old woman killed in tunnel explosion

The explosion which killed at one man and injured six others in a tunnel in the Auckland suburb of Onehunga today was caused by an unidentified gas, emergency services say. Mystery

The explosion happened 4m into a tunnel where a new watermain was being connected in Onehunga’s Mt Smart Road, said Superintendent George Fraser, the police officer in charge of the rescue and recovery mission.

The workers had just entered the tunnel and were only a few metres into it when the blast happened, blowing two men out of the tunnel and injuring five. One of the men died.

“There are a total of seven workers that were involved. Six of those workers have been taken to hospital. We have one confirmed fatality,” an emotional Mr Fraser said.

One of the injured men was critical, one was serious and the other four were being assessed. One man was believed to have lost limbs.

Auckland fire acting area commander Steve Lakin said seven specialist appliances were sent to the area.

“When the Fire Service arrived at the scene it was a rescue operation. They rescued six people from the vicinity of what is an underground pipe.

“After we made the scene safe and realising it had been a fatal accident, the Fire Service, along with the other emergency services, made an effort to enter the tunnel to determine the state of play.

“We entered the tunnel with gas detection equipment and found that there were explosive limits of gases inside the tunnel.

“At this stage we are unaware of what those gases are likely to be, other than the explosive limits are beyond our normal safe procedures.”

They were working to make sure the area was safe and the gas was reduced inside the tunnel so they could go back inside for another inspection, Mr Lakin said. Gas detection equipment was on the site.

“We can’t determine what that gas is because we can’t get to where we need to be.

“All we can do at the moment is go through a process of elimination to make sure that the services in and around the area, such as electricity and gas, have been isolated and we are then working with the technicians on site from the relevant companies to determine what the gases are,” he said.

“The gas levels are low and are non-toxic but they have levels of flammability.

The 1.5km pipe was about 3m underground and was 2.5m in diameter, allowing people to walk into it before the diameter reduced. Emergency personnel got as far as they could into the pipe during the rescue mission, Mr Lakin said.

They planned to flood the pipe with material to reduce the risk of another explosion but first needed to establish what the gas was.

“Our first priority was to make sure nobody was in that tunnel. The second priority was to establish what the gas is and the next priority then will be to make this area safe,” Mr Lakin said.

No details of the dead man or injured workers were available.

Unidentified gas caused fatal explosion: firefighters

48-year-old Auckland woman was killed this morning when an explosion occurred in a tunnel in the Auckland suburb of Onehunga, police confirmed.

Contractors were working to join two large water mains this morning when the explosion occurred, killing one and injuring six others.

“The cause of the explosion is still unclear and gas levels remain high, restricting access to the area,” Superintendent George Fraser said.

“Emergency services remain at the scene and air is being pumped into the space in an effort to make it safe so that a thorough scene examination can be carried out and to enable the maintenance work to continue as scheduled,” he said.

“We will be working through the night to try and ascertain how exactly this tragedy occurred.”

More Slaughter on NZ Roads, More Earthquakes,”Mass Exodus,” Unrelenting Mayhem, Wild Weather and Deaths

Deaths and Mayhem on New Zealand Roads

[At least] fifty four people have been killed on Central District roads so far this year – more than any other police district in New Zealand.

The next highest road toll is in Bay of Plenty, where 49 people had died before December 15, followed by Waikato with 48 and Canterbury with 46. Despite a record low of 40 deaths in 2008, last year was the highest in recent history with 59 people dying on Central District roads, which include Palmerston North, Whanganui and New Plymouth.”

[NOTE: The above figures are boiled down to at least one-third of the actual death toll on New Zealand Roads.]

‘Horror’ Highway Collision, At Least 12 hospitalised

Three people are in very critical condition and at least five others are said to be in critical condition in Hawke’s Bay Hospital after a “horror” smash between a bread truck and several  cars on State Highway 2.  At least 12 people were rushed to hospital.

Tourists from Italy, Germany and Uruguay are among the critically injured victims.

Latest quake more violent than first [But Magnitude Misreported as 4.9 quake]

Violent ground-shaking in central Christchurch during the Boxing Day earthquake exceeded that of the September 4 quake.

‘Mass exodus’ from Christchurch

Hundreds of Christchurch families who are  too frightened to remain in the city after the latest earthquakes are seeking refuge in Timaru.

Wild Weather New Zealand

Gale force winds are wreaking havoc around the lower North Island, bringing down power lines, trees and causing structural damage.

Rain and wind has closed roads, cut power and forced campers to abandon their tents across the top of the South Island this morning.

A number of roads in the Marlborough, Nelson and West Coast regions have been closed because of surface flooding and slips.

Holidaymakers face 8-hour traffic jams north and south of Auckland

Body found in a smouldering fire

The body, which was discovered south of Hamilton, “had been extensively burnt,” however the exact cause of death is not determined.

Would it be OK for judge Fraser’s young children/ grandchildren, if he has any, to pose naked and be molested by paedophiles?

Does the brotherhood to which judge Fraser belong condone pedophilia?

Does the democracy [sic] and justice [sic] which the judge purportedly serves/ sworn to condone paedophilia?

Who or what is this ***** judge answerable to?

YOU thought we’re kidding about NZ police farce?

Posted by te2ataria on February 1, 2010

I’m livid with anger, but let’s not spoil the viewing by using inadequate adjectives such as “W*nkers”, “TOSSERS”, and “F**KING MORONS”, etc.

David MacGregor, a concerned parent at a fund-raising event at Auckland’s Target Rd Primary School,  used his mobile phone to record the New Zealand Police Farce training their new jocks, the Dominion Post reported.

Don’t Miss New Zealand Police Farce, the “Thick Blue Line”, in Action

Two uniformed policemen drove children around the grounds doing “figure eights and donuts” with lights flashing and sirens blaring, the report said.

The cars skidded near children playing on a bouncy castle and lining up to get ice-cream, Mr MacGregor said.

The scene “made a mockery” of the Government’s safe-driving message, he said.

Police National Headquarters spokeswoman Debbie Corney said Waitemata district police would request the original footage to establish its authenticity and would speak with staff to determine exactly what happened.

MS. Debbie Corney, Are you out of YOUR *&^%%*& MIND? Or do you think people are stupid all the time?

Watch out, David MacGregor, don’t let the b*stards come anywhere near you or your family. They are going to harm you in a serious way. All they need do to “establish its autheticity” is to interview the drivers and a few witnesses. It’s not possible to fake those images.

The event, a school fundraiser, took place more than a year ago, in November 2008.

Mr MacGregor told the Dominion Post that he only posted the footage online after his “phone memory filled up and he learned how to upload it to YouTube.”

Suva might have been safer than NZ!

I brought my children to New Zealand from Suva to get away from violence there. Victim’s Mother

Killing, beating, raping and abusing “coloured” people in Apartheid New Zealand is a common occurrence.

The following report is yet another proof, as if anyone didn’t believe it, of the extreme violence perpetrated against Asians and other “coloured” people in New Zealand.

NZ government [sic] must compensate the “coloured” victims of racial attacks for each and every incident of racial violence perpetrated against them.

Starting with the crime of ‘racial slurs’, the victim should receive $25,000 and a formal apology from the prime minister for each and every incident.

In the case of racial murders, the family of each victim should be compensated no less than $25million by NZ govt.

Victims’ compensation for all other racial crimes should be set on a “sliding scalewithin the two limits described above.

Victims of racial violence in New Zealand should be entitled to the same level of compensation, as are the Jewish residents.

Do it!

Christchurch schoolboys attack Fijian-Indian student

NZPA August 7, 2009, 9:05 am

A racist attack on a Fijian-Indian student at a Christchurch school was not isolated, the student’s mother says.

Mohammed Akif, 15, suffered a cracked cheekbone, chipped tooth, cut to the head and bruised ribs when he was set upon by other students on Tuesday, The Press reported.

He arrived in Christchurch only three weeks ago to join his mother, who had a two-year work permit.

Zeenat Akif said her son was walking along a corridor when a group of students who had been sent out of a classroom attacked him.

He was punched, kicked and pinned against a wall, and called racist names, she said.

It wasn’t the first time the group had bullied her son but he had not reported other incidents to teachers, she said.

She had spoken to other parents in the Indian community who said their children had been bullied too.

Linwood College principal Rob Burrough said a 15-year-old boy involved in the attack had been suspended, and another boy who had used racial taunts had also been suspended, and “his future at school is also under question now”.

Mr Burrough said the school would pay Mohammad’s medical fees and seek compensation from his attacker.

The attack was caught on security cameras, and was unprovoked.

The school was embarrassed, disappointed and angered by the attack, he said.

Mrs Akif said she brought her children to New Zealand from Suva to get away from violence there.  http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=10589251

If YOU are as outraged as we are, email Dr Manmohan Singh, the PM of India, and let him know how you feel.

Tourists could easily have been killed in nightmare cruise

Pacific Sun. Source: NZPA. Image may be subject to copyright.

Passengers and crew are extremely luck to escape death on a cruise ship rocked by a severe storm north of New Zealand last year, according to an official report.

“The Pacific Sun rolled up to 31 degrees, injuring 77 of the more than 2000 people on board the P&O cruise ship bound for Auckland on July 30.”

“The report, by British maritime officials, obtained by The Herald on Sunday but not yet shown to passengers, concluded it was “pure good fortune” that no one was more seriously injured or even killed by unsecured equipment and furnishings.”

A major disaster in Ne Zealand could occur ANYTIME killing hundreds of tourists! Play safe, stay away from New Zealand!
