Try keeping feces out of the water, as “the right standard”!

“Having some standards in place is a useful step always, it’s tricky to work out what the right standards should be, so you know there’ll always be some debate about that and as we get new and better information that always helps us refine that over time,” uttered Ministry for the Environment deputy secretary Cheryl Barnes, lamenting that improving water quality was complex.

Must read for foreigners planning to visit NZ!

Welcome to the World’s Deadliest Tourist Destination: Truth about NZ’s “Death Roads,” as We Know it:

  • Based on insider information, statistical models and local news, we believe about 900 people were killed and more than 8,000 others critically/seriously injured on NZ suicide roads in 2017; however, only 380 fatalities were reported last year. [For every 24 or so victims, who die from their road injuries later in a hospital, only one death is reported. See blog content.]
  • To protect the tourist industry and massive foreign investment, about two out of every three road fatalities [and other tourists deaths] go unreported, or the dead are statistically resurrected by NZ government’s “Ministry of Resurrection” [aka, Ministry of Transport.]

♠|♠

Medical Miracle, or Malicious MENDACITY?

Of an estimated 3,000 people who have received near-fatal, critical, or serious injuries on New Zealand roads in 2017, only a handful were deceased from their injuries, according to NZ police reports, or lack thereof.

‘Gunman’ most likely incinerated in police-sparked house fire after allegedly shooting two women in Northland

A gunman, who allegedly shot two women dead at a rural Northland property, is “very unlikely” to have survived a massive fire, sparked by police, which completely burned down the property,

“Two women, who are believed to have been related to each other, arrived at the house 10km east of Whangarei to carry out a property inspection along with another man on Wednesday morning.”

The gunman shot the two women dead and seriously injured the man, police said.

“The identity of the shooter is known to police.” [Something is fishy, again!]

“Police used tear gas at the address and the offender fired several shots at staff. Police fired a number of shots in return. The house caught fire soon after this, and was fully engulfed. The status of the offender is currently unknown, however we believe it is very unlikely that he has survived. While Police and the fire service are at the property, they will not enter the house until it is safe to do so,” police said.

At least one person was killed in a crash near Pawarenga in the Far North at about 4pm today, police said. As usual, no details of the victim, or the cause of crash are available/released.

This is only the second road fatality report released in five days.

  • Blog estimate: About 900 people are killed on NZ roads each year. [Most probably] up to 255 road fatalities have occurred in NZ since 1 January 2016.

Today is DAY 118 of the latest TOURISTS or truth? campaign in NZ

Serious Road Crashes

Based even on the government’s heavily manipulated data, an average of 25 crashes occur on NZ roads each day, resulting in 31 reportable injuries including 14 hospitalizations (8 serious injuries) and at least one fatality.

That is 700 crashes in last four weeks (since March 17), resulting in 868 reportable injuries including 392 hospitalizations (224 serious injuries), and at least 28 fatalities.

However, no more than about 40 or so serious crashes have been reported over this period.

What happened to the other 660 or so crashes that have occurred over the past 4 weeks???

There’s clearly a reporting ban [also] on serious crashes in effect. Police would otherwise be unable to manipulate the road toll, if all of the serious crashes were to be reported.

[Heavily Doctored] Motor Vehicle Crashes in New Zealand 2014

  • 268 fatal road crashes
  • 295 deaths
  • 8,614 injury crashes
  • [They forgot to include the number of seriously injured]
  • 11,219 people injured

In 2005 there were:

  • 405 deaths
  • 2,531 serious injuries
  • 11,920 less serious injuries

In 2002, according to the official data, there were:

  • 404 deaths

Again, NO road fatalities reported today!!

Previously, 70,017 reasons NZ is the worst country in the world – today, reason No. 70,018 – 80,000.

Police dismiss independent watchdog calls to change policy on deadly pursuits

The Independent Police Conduct Authority (IPCA) “urging” police to review its fleeing drivers policy for some time, as they don’t reduce the risk to the public and rarely end successfully.

The unqualified, malignant Police Minister Judith Collins said she supported police and their efforts to keep the roads safe by pursuing fleeing drivers. [This is a clear example of how gangster government ministers hog-tie progress, despite expert opinion, logic, and common sense, and in the face of the proven, deadly consequences.]  http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/crime/76744923/Police-dismiss-independent-watchdog-calls-to-change-policy-on-fleeing-drivers

Visiting Australian police officer chases car after it hits a bike near Queenstown

An off-duty Australian police officer chased down a foreign driver who hit a motorised bicycle, injuring the rider and a 3-year-old passenger.

Sergeant Blair Duffy, of Queenstown, said it appeared an American man driving a Volvo clipped the bike being ridden in the 100kmh zone by a local man with the 3-year-old boy in a seat on the back.

The local man and boy on the bike, who were not father and son, were treated by St Johns for minor injuries and released.

The man and the father declined to comment. [Clearly, the police didn’t make any comment either, as to what the relationship between the man and the boy on the bike was, since they were not father and son!] http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/crime/76721675/visiting-australian-police-officer-chases-car-after-it-hits-a-bike-near-queenstown.html

Finally, reasons up to at least 80,000

Hundreds of eels found dead in “Toxicborough” creek

Hundreds of dead eels have been found floating on the surface of a creek in Marlborough.

A vineyard worker noticed the smell of rotting flesh before finding the shortfin eels in a roadside creek near Rarangi, north of Blenheim, on Wednesday morning.

Marlborough District Council freshwater ecologist Pete Hamill said he counted more than 200 eels in the two-kilometre creek, and estimated there could have been hundreds more below the surface and out of sight.

“It’s killing the plants along the bank as well. Whatever it is, it’s toxic to both,” Hamill said.

“It’s a bit tough on the poor old eels … they do play an important part in the habitat.”

“It could be anything from cement to herbicide to paint to hydrocarbon.”

The George Orwell MiniTrue Award

This Week’s Winner of The Big Brother Honest Journalism Award: The Northern Advocate

The George Orwell MiniTrue Award (aka the ‘Big Brother Honest Journalism Award’) for this week goes to New Zealand’s The Northern Advocate for the following:

Story Title: Gold-toothed skull found on beach

Orwellian Newspeak comment that grabbed the prize:

‘The skull – obviously old, but said to still have hair and gristle attached to it – was found by Australian tourists walking on the beach at Glinks Gully, 24km south of Dargaville, on Tuesday.’

GRISLY FIND: Glinks Gully resident Geoff Nicols points to the site where the skull was found. Source: Northern Advocate. Image may be subject to copyright.

Background information:

Tourist Catch of the Day: Severed Head, Torso

Tourists Find Severed Head and Torso in Northland, New Zealand. A pair of Australian tourists found a severed head and torso in the sand dunes near the entrance of Glinks Gully, about 20 kilometers south west of Dargaville, Northland, New Zealand.

However, the police, which seems to have decided that the headlines were bad for business, apparently forced the reporter(s) to change the headlines and certain parts of their story to make it sound as if the discovery of a severed head and dismembered torso was actually something completely different. The new Stuff NZ headline read: Skull found on Northland beach

NZ Herald echoed much of the same: Very old’ skull found on Northland beach

A “very old” human skull has been found on a beach south of Dargaville.

Police spokeswoman Sarah Kennett said the skull is being referred to a pathologist to find out when the person died.

She said the skull was found in the sand dunes in Glinks Gully, Te Kopuru, Northland.

Asked if it could be a skull from pre-European colonisation, Ms Kennett said she could not say. [Amazing!]

NZ Police Interfere with News Coverage

As luck had it…

The two Australian tourists, Louisa and Michael Ergles, who discovered the severed head, read the new, amended headlines and apparently contacted the [advertising] media.

Mr Ergles who is a search and rescue officer in his hometown of Lajamanu in the Northern Territory, Australia, said, “there was still a bit of flesh on the head when we found it.”

“I don’t think it would have been there longer than a year.”

[Note: All mentions of the ‘torso’ have also been removed from the new versions of the story. ]

Tourist Catch of the Day: Severed Head, Torso

    Posted by te2ataria on November 19, 2009

Tourists Find Severed Head and Torso in Northland, New Zealand

A pair of Australian tourists found a severed head and torso in the sand dunes near the entrance of Glinks Gully, about 20 kilometers south west of Dargaville, Northland, New Zealand.

“Local camp ground operator Geoff Nicols says a pair of Australian tourists were shocked to spot a head poking up out of the sand and asked to use his phone to call police.” A report said.

“There’s no public telephone around here so they came down to my house to ring the police station.”

Nicols says it took 45 minutes before a police officer contacted them, “No-one was answering the phone at the Dargaville police office.”

“I went and saw the head and stayed with it until the police arrived.

“There were bits of gristle and hair at the back of the skull,” says Mr Nicols.

“I reckon it would have been buried there a few years.”
[More recently dumped body parts take a while before they show up!]

“It was right up the top of the dune and I’m sure it must have been placed there.”

“It maybe that somebody disposed of the body in different places.”
[Doesn’t he know the drill well?]

Nichols thinks the find was unearthed when part of the dune was washed away by a large wave.

Dargaville Police Station is still unmanned, and therefore no-one was available for comment.
