Two-thirds of young NZers are suicidal

Posted by te2ataria on September 8, 2013

The title of article posted below should have been

“How the police state has made two-thirds of young NZers suicidal”

Those of you who read this blog regularly may recall previous headlines like “NZers are among the happiest nation in the world [despite having the highest suicide rates in the world,]” and so forth…

As for the other one-third, they join the police force or the military, kill a few brown people at home or murder in cold blood a dozen women and kids in Iraq, Afghanistan … , and then commit suicide.

Nearly two thirds of young kiwis depressed

By: Bruce Russell| Newstalk ZB| Sunday September 8 2013 14:58

Nearly two-thirds of young New Zealanders are showing signs of depressed mood.

Recent results from the New Zealand Sovereign Wellbeing index have revealed the need to improve our wellbeing by encouraging a flourishing community.

University of Canterbury lecturer Tracy Clelland says the country rates very poorly compared with most European countries, particularly in the area of connecting with others in the neighbourhood.

“Things like more local events where people can come together, just making sure you knock on the door of the neighbour’s house, just making sure you know who your neighbours are.”

The theme for Mental Health Awareness Week next month is connecting with others.

Half a million kiwis now in Australia

Posted by te2ataria on June 23, 2012

Smarter kiwis go to Australia!

Latest census figures show at least 483,000 New Zealanders, or about 13% of the population, now call Australia home, according to the local media.

Since moving to a less violent environment and making more life-supporting choices are normally associated with the top (more intelligent) percentile of the population, you could correctly conclude that very few of those still remaining in the country have triple-digit IQs.

Latest census figures show 483,000 New Zealanders now call Australia home – 130,000 of them are Maori.

By far the biggest numbers have moved to Queensland – with 98,000 New Zealanders there.

KiwisinOz.com.au managing director Ramesh Naran says that number is large, but he’s confident it’ll get even bigger in years to come.

He says New Zealanders are still attracted by the lifestyle and stronger economy, although many are now trying to secure jobs before they move across. (Newstalk ZB)

Three percent of kiwis abandon New Zealand

Posted by te2ataria on March 8, 2012

January 2012 saw the 2nd highest number of Kiwis ever emigrating to Australia

The mass exodus has seen a total of at least 119,000 kiwis, or three percent of the population, abandoning the sinking ship in the past 3 years.

Some 4,700 more New Zealanders left for Australia than arrived in January, taking the annual loss to a record 38,100 in the 12 month-period, according to Statistics New Zealand.

Readers unfamiliar with the Darkland will note that the population of this country is around 4 million.

[Despite the usual rumours, Tasman Sea did not part.]

Kiwis packing up and heading across the ditch to Australia has become an all too predictable trend under National, and will only worsen as further job cuts and public sector retrenchment is realised, says Labour’s Economic Development spokesperson David Cunliffe.

January 2012 saw the second-highest number of Kiwis emigrating to Australia ever.

“While National drives down wages and puts more people on the dole, Australia is offering secure jobs that pay well. For many, moving is a no-brainer,” David Cunliffe said.

“119,000 people have now left New Zealand since National came to power promising to halt the trans-Tasman exodus. That’s more people than the city of Dunedin, and far more brains than the country can afford to lose.

“Their decision to leave can’t be blamed on the global financial crisis which has hit everyone, including Australia. Nor can it be passed off as short-term thinking. That’s National’s territory.

“The reality is Kiwis are done with slogans. They don’t think their future is looking bright,” David Cunliffe said.  [Labour Party, Fuseworks]

To avoid a nightmare scenario, Australians are well advised to demand pakeha bringing their own food and drinks, and contain the lot of them in NSW, Victoria and Tasmania!

A quarter of young pakeha  planning to leave New Zealand: Report

To any delusional would-be immigrant to New Zealand: YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Shocking statistic

”That’s terrible and it’s because the Kiwi dream is beyond their reach, partly because house prices are beyond their reach and put more out of reach by our tax settings, which benefit the people who own multiple houses because of tax advantages,” said Labour’s economic development spokesman David Parker.
