Missing Chinese girl: Something fishy about police update

Posted by te2ataria on October 13, 2019

Where’s the 17yo Chinese girl who was reported missing in Auckland?

Police said they had concerns for the safety of a 17-year-old Chinese girl Xiuhan Lyu who’s been missing. She was last seen at her home on the North Shore on Friday.

Police reported Xiuhan Lyu, 17, as missing in Auckland area on Sunday, and then they changed their story within a few hours .

She has been in New Zealand for less than a month and it is unknown whether she is still in the Auckland area, a report posted at 2:19pm today (13 Oct, 2019) cited police as saying.

Police were asking anyone who sees the missing girl to contact them immediately on 111.

Then, police changed their story within a few short hours. At 5:00pm they posted the following message on their website:

So, what’s the problem, you might ask?

The problem is our sources cannot verify that Xiuhan Lyu has left the country!

At what point do “passengers” become “patients” in a car crash?

The bards at the Police Media Centre sing again!

Isn’t primary school education an essential requirement for joining the Jerks in Blue?  Then again, the “car” that crashed might have been an ambulance, or the passengers were “professional patients”!?

Again, NO road fatalities reported today!!

Posted by te2ataria on February 10, 2016

Previously, 70,017 reasons NZ is the worst country in the world – today, reason No. 70,018 – 80,000.

Police dismiss independent watchdog calls to change policy on deadly pursuits

The Independent Police Conduct Authority (IPCA) “urging” police to review its fleeing drivers policy for some time, as they don’t reduce the risk to the public and rarely end successfully.

The unqualified, malignant Police Minister Judith Collins said she supported police and their efforts to keep the roads safe by pursuing fleeing drivers. [This is a clear example of how gangster government ministers hog-tie progress, despite expert opinion, logic, and common sense, and in the face of the proven, deadly consequences.]  http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/crime/76744923/Police-dismiss-independent-watchdog-calls-to-change-policy-on-fleeing-drivers

Visiting Australian police officer chases car after it hits a bike near Queenstown

An off-duty Australian police officer chased down a foreign driver who hit a motorised bicycle, injuring the rider and a 3-year-old passenger.

Sergeant Blair Duffy, of Queenstown, said it appeared an American man driving a Volvo clipped the bike being ridden in the 100kmh zone by a local man with the 3-year-old boy in a seat on the back.

The local man and boy on the bike, who were not father and son, were treated by St Johns for minor injuries and released.

The man and the father declined to comment. [Clearly, the police didn’t make any comment either, as to what the relationship between the man and the boy on the bike was, since they were not father and son!] http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/crime/76721675/visiting-australian-police-officer-chases-car-after-it-hits-a-bike-near-queenstown.html

Hundreds of eels found dead in “Toxicborough” creek

Hundreds of dead eels have been found floating on the surface of a creek in Marlborough.

A vineyard worker noticed the smell of rotting flesh before finding the shortfin eels in a roadside creek near Rarangi, north of Blenheim, on Wednesday morning.

Marlborough District Council freshwater ecologist Pete Hamill said he counted more than 200 eels in the two-kilometre creek, and estimated there could have been hundreds more below the surface and out of sight.

“It’s killing the plants along the bank as well. Whatever it is, it’s toxic to both,” Hamill said.

“It’s a bit tough on the poor old eels … they do play an important part in the habitat.”

“It could be anything from cement to herbicide to paint to hydrocarbon.”
