WARNING: Deadly bacteria found in Canterbury rivers, superbug in Auckland hospital

Posted by te2ataria on December 20, 2018

WARNING: DO NOT VISIT NEW ZEALAND WITHOUT A WATERTIGHT TRAVEL DEATH INSURANCE!

NEW ZEALAND HEALTH WARNINGS

About 50 people have contracted a severe and potentially deadly syndrome caused by a bacteria found in Canterbury rivers in the past three years, according to reports.

“Fish and Game commissioned independent testing of the Ashley, Selwyn and Rangitata rivers which showed the presence of a bacteria called Shiga toxin-producing E. coli or STEC. It can cause haemolytic uraemic syndrome which damages kidneys and can kill people.”

The antibiotic-resistant cTXM genes in E. coli and other E. coli strains first detected in New Zealand rivers in September, are said to have come from our livestock.

Middlemore Hospital in S. Auckland finds superbug in at least two patients

At least two patients were found to be carrying carbapenemase-producing enterobacteraceae (CPE) bacteria that are resistant to almost all antibiotics.

“The organism was found in both patients by routine screening of the patients’ gut organisms,” said the Counties Manukau District Health Board.

“The first CPE carrier to be identified was a surgical patient in November, followed by the second patient, who acquired the organism on a different ward about nine days later.”

“There has been an increase in the number of patients presenting at the hospital with these organisms in their gut over the last few years”, said Dr David Holland an infectious diseases specialist.

NZ road toll: Police bury most of the fatalities news

At least 45 people have been killed on NZ roads since Wednesday (Dec. 1), but only 17 fatalities have been listed by Ministry of Resurrection.

The dead on the run: Now you see them, now you don’t!

NZ government (police and Ministry of Resurrection) under-report road fatalities in the same way Puerto Rican officials (US Govt) misled the world following Hurricane Maria. Death toll from the destructive storm was reported at only 64, instead of the scientifically researched total of 2,975.

About two-thirds of road fatalities go unreported, or unrecorded by NZ authorities to protect the cutthroat tourism and banking! [See blog entries under Ministry of Resurrection.]

Proudly killed on New Zealand’s deadly/suicidal roads

Impressed by chastity and intelligence of NZ women!!

Oregonian Dad places dating ad for “three wonderful, successful, handsome, alas unmarried, [and unfortunately intellectually impaired] sons”

Presumably impressed by chastity and intelligence of NZ woman, an Oregonian father, “has placed a classified ad in the Herald this week looking to set his sons up on blind dates with Kiwi women.”

“We are from the States (Oregon), visiting your beautiful country. My wife and I have three wonderful, successful, handsome, alas unmarried, sons between the ages of 28-32,” the ad read.

“We are not expecting, just hoping, to introduce our sons to nice NZ daughters. At the very least we’ll embarrass our sons and the truth is, we do find some enjoyment in that.”

Either the Oregonian traveller was brought up in India (arranged marriages and all), or his sons, like himself, are intellectually impaired and therefore unable to look after their own personal affairs.

[While his family might be planning to move to NZ, albeit using this pathetic charade, his would-be Kiwi daughters-in-law will definitely opt for living in the US. You see the types of crap we have to put up with in this country, day in, day out? –Moderator.]

Imbecile: A person with moderate to severe intellectual disability having a mental age of from three to seven years and generally being capable of some degree of communication and performance of simple tasks under supervision. NZ Health Warning: ‘Superbug’ found in people in Hutt Valley

Posted by te2ataria on October 19, 2018

Latest cluster of superbug carriers originated in the community

Hutt Valley DHB has identified a cluster of at least five carriers of the antibiotics resistant superbug Carbapenam Producing Enterobacteriaceae (CPE).

“We had the first confirmed laboratory result on Saturday 25 August and the most recent case was identified this Friday 12 October. Patients and their health professionals have been informed of the results immediately,” Hutt Valley DHB reported.

Only one out of the five people developed the infection and it was treated successfully, claims Hutt Valley District Health Board infectious diseases doctor Matthew Kelly.

At least 50 people nationwide have been discovered to carry CPE this year so far, Kelly said.

“There have been an increasing number of CPE cases identified in NZ and so far this year there have been around 50 cases. Most people found to have CPE in New Zealand became infected overseas, particularly if they had been in an overseas hospital.”

Tourism and antibiotic resistance rates globally, among other factors, contribute to the exponential  rise in the spread of superbugs.

However, the latest cluster of cases “appears to have originated in the community, however Hutt Valley DHB has not, to date, been able to confirm the source of infection.”

Road fatalities:

Police have blocked ALL news of road fatalities since late Monday.
Ministry of Resurrection Road Toll: Only 295

Welcome to NZ: Our Superbugs Await You!

At least 48 New Zealanders test positive to carrying CPE superbug

“Doctors are warning a powerful superbug could become deadly if it continues to spread in New Zealand at its present rate.

“So far this year, 48 New Zealanders have tested positive to carrying the bacteria known as carbapenemase-producing enterobacteriaceae (CPE), up from 33 people last year. It was found in just 30 people in the six years from 2009 to 2014.

“CPE are bacteria that produce an enzyme that deactivates a powerful group of antibiotics called carbapenems, meaning they are difficult to treat.

“In most cases, the bug sits in the body, usually the bowel or gut, and causes no harm. But if it gets the bloodstream or urine it can be life threatening.”    Read more. . .

Needles and Pins: Using Magnets in the Kitchen

Needles in strawberries

In NZ you can find just about everything in your food and drink! In fact, many of us use magnets in the kitchen to detect sewing needles and other metal objects in our food.

Police said:

“Anyone who finds anything suspicious in their food is urged to contact local Police immediately.

“Reports of this nature will be taken very seriously and investigated thoroughly. From the Police perspective, that means witnesses will be spoken to and any items of interest will be taken for forensic testing.

“For example, Whanganui Police received a report of a pin found in takeaway food over the weekend, and while this turned out to be an honest mistake, Police conducted interviews and a scene examination before determining there was no malicious intent [this time.]”
