Three percent of kiwis abandon New Zealand

Posted by te2ataria on March 8, 2012

January 2012 saw the 2nd highest number of Kiwis ever emigrating to Australia

The mass exodus has seen a total of at least 119,000 kiwis, or three percent of the population, abandoning the sinking ship in the past 3 years.

Some 4,700 more New Zealanders left for Australia than arrived in January, taking the annual loss to a record 38,100 in the 12 month-period, according to Statistics New Zealand.

Readers unfamiliar with the Darkland will note that the population of this country is around 4 million.

[Despite the usual rumours, Tasman Sea did not part.]

Kiwis packing up and heading across the ditch to Australia has become an all too predictable trend under National, and will only worsen as further job cuts and public sector retrenchment is realised, says Labour’s Economic Development spokesperson David Cunliffe.

January 2012 saw the second-highest number of Kiwis emigrating to Australia ever.

“While National drives down wages and puts more people on the dole, Australia is offering secure jobs that pay well. For many, moving is a no-brainer,” David Cunliffe said.

“119,000 people have now left New Zealand since National came to power promising to halt the trans-Tasman exodus. That’s more people than the city of Dunedin, and far more brains than the country can afford to lose.

“Their decision to leave can’t be blamed on the global financial crisis which has hit everyone, including Australia. Nor can it be passed off as short-term thinking. That’s National’s territory.

“The reality is Kiwis are done with slogans. They don’t think their future is looking bright,” David Cunliffe said.  [Labour Party, Fuseworks]

To avoid a nightmare scenario, Australians are well advised to demand pakeha bringing their own food and drinks, and contain the lot of them in NSW, Victoria and Tasmania!

Dumbass Navy’s 2nd New Ship Breaks Down

Posted by te2ataria on May 31, 2010

Land Ahoy!!!

New Zealand Bathtub Navy’s 2nd New Vessel Breaks Down on Maiden Voyage

Informed sources told blog moderator the ship has also sprung a leak!

Two new naval vessels, lots of hilarious disasters. Well, the adventures of the Micky Mouse navy would have been hilarious had not the money to buy the dud ships come from the same purse that denies more than a quarter of a million poor kids in this country their most basic needs like food and health.

Navy chief Butt Admiral Tony Parr said: Wellington and its sister ship Otago were designed and built to patrol and protect New Zealand, the Southern Ocean and the Pacific. [It’s too bad you can’t keep them afloat long enough to leave the harbour, Butt Admiral]

STICK THE GUNS MR KEY!  The kids are malnourished.

Navy’s new ship breaks down

The navy’s newest ship has been forced to abort its maiden voyage because of engine problems, just months after its sister ship suffered the same fault.

The HMNZS Wellington had to divert to Sydney during its voyage from Melbourne to Auckland today after a water seal leaked in its port engine and its starboard engine control system developed a fault.

Engine problems also struck Wellington’s sister ship, the offshore patrol vessel HMNZS Otago, which had to delay its maiden voyage to Auckland in March.

Wellington was in the Tasman Sea about 650km from Sydney when the problem was discovered early this morning.

Technicians from the engine’s manufacturer MAN have met the ship in Sydney and were working with the ship’s engineers. The engine is under warranty so repairs will not cost the navy anything.

It is the seventh and last ship in the $500 million Project Protector fleet, and with its delivery the navy will have a fleet of 12.

Caravans fly as wild winds hit

Metservice has released a severe weather warning has also been issued for heavy rain in the Marlborough Sounds, Tararua Ranges and Mt Taranaki.

The nightmare weather is due to hit late tonight, and is thanks to a cold front sweeping over the Tasman Sea, heading for the top of the South Island.

Police have already attended three crashes involving two caravans and a high sided truck being blown over in the wind on State Highway 73, and at Rakaia gorge. – NEWSTALK ZB

pakeha incompetence: Genetic fault?

Posted by te2ataria on March 18, 2009

If you thought NZ police farce are the most incompetent in the world, you’d be right, of course; however, the pakeha incontinence doesn’t stop there.

Take the Chemical Republic’s naval forces, for example.

New Zealand navy staff were washed into the ocean during a joint naval exercise with Australia in the eastern Tasman Sea on Tuesday.

It happened during a routine transfer of sailors between the New Zealand ship Canterbury and the Australian amphibious vessel Kanimbla.

“New Zealand Defence Force” said their rigid hull inflatable boat (RHIB) was hit by a wrong size wave and nearly drowned the incompetent b*stards.

“No one was seriously injured and the personnel will be returned to their ship later today.” NZ Navy said.

May your Jolly Roger always fly at half mast you useless, wasteful b*stards!

May your Jolly Roger always fly at half mast you useless, wasteful b*stards! The money you bunch of morons throw in the ocean playing captain hook could be spent on the kid’s education, or fix our leaky homes.
