Just how far up our tushi does the Chinese arm reach?

Sent by an angry reader in NZ’s Murder Capital [aka, “Auckland”]

“5,000 years of culture” my arse, the little pricks are still “cannibals”

It’s beyond ridiculous the extent to which ankle-grabbing NZ establishment bends to please China!

Former US official [confirms by dismissing] fear of NZ being forced out of Five Eyes over extensive China ties

Questions were raised last month about links to both the Labour and National parties and China’s Communist party by an ex-CIA analyst. And a Canadian intelligence report labelled New Zealand the ‘soft underbelly’ for China’s attempts to infiltrate the network.”

However, a former US ass-istant secretary of state for East Asian and Pacific Affairs in the Obama administration, has indirectly confirmed the possibility by dismissing the idea.

“I understand the fear and the concern but my own sense is very different about New Zealand. What is most impressive about New Zealand is that it has an independent character to its foreign and economic policy and national security. And it’s careful about its sovereignty and its positioning and you see that reflected in every relationship. New Zealand has handled it exactly right,” said the poorly-informed Kurt Campbel, who had previously sworn, based on his own sense, the old bat would beat the giant orange earthworm in the US presidential election.

‘The China Council forced to fake data on the real extent of Chinese investment in NZ’

“I’m not sure what we are going to do to change people’s perceptions. We will be talking to people and showing them the statistics. And hopefully we are able to do this every year and see where we need to make change and where progress is being made,” says  executive director of The New Zealand China Council, Stephen Jacobi.

What statistics, the fake ones?

The Chinese Dilemma: Do I move to China,” or do I stay in China?

Instead of seeing a balanced ethnic mix, Auckland started to acquire an unwholesomely Chinese flavour: Chinese state agent

“Going to Auckland is like going to China,” two Japanese professionals said.

“You don’t hear English, you don’t see Kiwis, there is just Chinese, Chinese and Chinese.”

“I visit Queen Street in Auckland and I feel like I’m in Hong Kong. I’m the only person there who isn’t Asian,” bjb commented on Stuff NZ.

The final option for the failed Chinese?
“New Zealand First’s Winston Peters said many immigrants choose New Zealand when they have failed entering Canada, US, UK and Australia he is right.”

“At least it is a well perceived notion among my fellow Chinese that only the ‘less fortunate’ choose New Zealand.”

“Lower quality immigrants”
“As a consequence, we have been absorbing lower quality immigrants who neither have the intention to assimilate to our culture nor the intention to set up all inclusive businesses that provide jobs for Kiwis.”

Don’t miss:

IN FACT THE ONLY REQUIREMENT FOR 95 OF THE CHINESE PEOPLE SETTLING IN NEW ZEALAND IS HAVING ENOUGH MONEY TO “INVEST” HERE!

The property market has proved a “safe” and lucrative investment ground for the Chinese, much to the detriment of the rest of us!

Chinese buyers continue to have a major impact on our housing market much the same as in Canada and Australia (Sydney).

The overwhelming majority of the Chinese who come to NZ are very rich people, and they use their wealth to inflate the property market.

“More of us are bothered about the Chinese enclaves that are growing, where only Chinese is spoken and gradually only Chinese welcome,” said a pundit. “Most are bothered about the immigration policies that have meant that large Chinese ‘families’ follow one or two given a visa then contribute little to the country. Most are bothered by cultural practices in China that come here whether it be rhino horn, shark fins or crime.”

“Clearly the relationship is not beneficial to both countries. China’s view is one world one china – and little concern with anything other than money,” commented another unhappy Aucklander.

“The simple fact is, a lot of Chinese culture is in conflict with kiwi culture, social responsibility or laws,” and that upsets most of us.

“The New Zealand China Council you will understand why it is just a propaganda machine for the PRC,” says another concerned Aucklander.

“It might be useful to look at how Chinese investment in our Pacific Islands is changing those communities. Fisheries are being stripped, some businesses appear to have no requirement to pay tax (Tonga) and as these countries are unable pay their multi million dollar loans, strategic assets are at risk of changing hands and becoming Chinese owned. Even Tonga’s PM has said their government is likely to be taken over by the Chinese in the near future. Worth thinking about…,” another Aucklander commented.

“Chinese people are plundering New Zealand’s resources”
A young Chinese couple visiting a park in Auckland were told by the locals that eels had been stripped from the nearby stream by the Chinese.

“We’re not going to gloss over the information. It shows the holes in perceptions that we have to work on,” said Stephen Jacobi. To which a reader replied:

“I find it absolutely astounding that a country’s own citizens need to be ‘educated’ on how to become accepting of something like stripping eels from creeks by people who arrive here from other countries.”

‘Is this the future we want for NZ’
“Chinese immigrants using large amounts of capital [some of which may may have been borrowed from Chinese Triads] to buy property in NZ. It’s a reality and something to be rightly concerned about. Look at how property prices have skyrocketed and the increase in homelessness. We now have Chinese property development companies here.
Is this the future we want for NZ!?”
