The vague and confusing reasons we’ll never know exactly where the wage subsidy is going
Katie Kenny 09:17, Jun 11 2020
ANALYSIS: The Government has talked up the transparency of its $11b Covid-19 wage subsidy scheme. But if you want to see a list of every recipient, you’re out of luck. Even half of them? Nope.

The illusion of transparency has been created by an online search tool that allows members of the public – and stickybeak journalists – to look up a company’s name and see whether it’s received the subsidy.

But the search engine returns only five results at a time. Stuff – and other media – sought the full list. It seemed a straightforward request. We only wanted what the Government had already made public, just in a different form.

Days went by and it became clear the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) could not, or would not, provide the list. Why?

“We designed the tool with close involvement from the Privacy Commissioner to ensure compliance with the Privacy Act,” said Nadine Kilmister, a deputy chief executive at the ministry, in a statement.
[…]
For valid privacy reasons, total transparency will never be possible. But to refuse to provide even a redacted list of recipients falls well short of the insight taxpayers deserve.

ECONOMIC IMPACT OF COVID-19 PANDEMIC ON “AGGRESSOR” NATIONS

About 1.542 million Americans filed jobless claims for the week ended June 6, the Labor Department said.
A total of more than 47 million applications for unemployment benefits have been submitted since the COVID-19 pandemic began in March, government records show, a number that dwarfs even unemployment figures in the Great Depression.

More than 50% of American families have been financially affected, experts say.

Coronavirus: UK economy could be among worst hit of leading nations, says OECD
The UK is likely to be the hardest hit by Covid-19 among major economies, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development has warned.
Britain’s economy is likely to slump by 11.5% in 2020, slightly outstripping falls in countries such as Germany, France, Spain and Italy, it said.
If there were a second peak in the pandemic, the UK economy could contract by as much as 14%.

“The crisis will cast a long shadow over the world,” the OECD added.
It said that in what it called a “single-hit scenario”, with no second peak, there could be contractions of 11.4% in France, 11.1% in Spain, 11.3% in Italy and 6.6% in Germany.
In its latest assessment, the OECD found that the UK’s largely service-based economy meant that it had been particularly badly hit by the government’s lockdown restrictions.
The services sector, including financial services, hospitality and tourism, makes up about three-quarters of the UK’s GDP.

New Zealand’s economy among the worst hit by Covid-19 in OECD, new report warns
The organisation, made up of 37 leading economies, said Covid-19 had triggered “the most severe economic recession in nearly a century”.
The report paints two scenarios; one where the current wave of infections is the worst of the crisis and another where another wave of infections hits before the end of the year.
In either scenario New Zealand is likely to see a sharper economic contraction than most other members of the OECD, and a much larger hit than Australia.
Even if a second wave of global infections is avoided, the OECD predicts the New Zealand economy would shrink by 8.9 per cent in 2020, with only eight of the OECD’s 37 members contracting more.
If the global economy does see a second wave, New Zealand’s economy would shrink by 10 per cent, with 11 OECD economies taking a bigger hit.
In both scenarios, all of the economies expected to see a larger contraction than New Zealand are in Europe.
Australia meanwhile is expected to see a 5 per cent contraction this year or a 6.3 per cent hit if there is a second wave, with only South Korea facing a smaller hit.

The Final Destination: Indian Woman, Geriatric Pilot Killed in Taupō Glider Crash

Posted by te2ataria on June 4, 2020

ONLY Death is Democratic in NZ!

More than 40,000 foreigners—overseas visitors, international students, foreign workers and new emigrants from more than 70 countries—have been violently killed, permanently maimed, or otherwise seriously injured by NZ tourism machination between Jan 2000 and December 2019. At least 98 percent of the casualties would’ve been avoidable, if the ultra-racist, white supremacist gatekeepers of the slaughterhouse gave a f*ck. [Updated December 2019.]

UPDATED

Female victim and her husband emigrated from India five years ago

The Indian woman, 41, from Wellington, and a Taupō-based geriatric pilot  [nationality undisclosed] were killed when the glider crashed into Mt Tauhara around 2.45pm on Sunday.

The two people who were killed have been identified as Anthony Frederick Hector Budd, 78, and Kusum Pasha (nee Chandrappa), 41.

WTF: Blog Moderators are distressed to discover that a nearly octogenarian glider pilot was permitted to fly with passenger onboard, resulting in a most likely avoidable fatal tragedy.

The Indian couple, members of the Muslim community in Wellington, were reportedly holidaying in Taupō for the weekend.

“The husband of a woman who died in a glider crash near Taupō had already taken a trip in the glider and was waiting for his wife to return when the crash happened.”

The Indian woman was described as “a very generous person who always supported community projects.”

The bodies have since been recovered and sent to Wellington for post mortem examinations before being returned to the families, the report said.

The Final Destination: Body of Missing British Woman Found

Posted by te2ataria on February 15, 2020

AN APPEAL TO ALL CREDIBLE HUMAN RIGHTS ORGANIZATIONS

More than 40,000 foreigners have been violently killed, permanently maimed, or otherwise seriously injured by NZ tourism machination since 2000.
The Axis of Evil, however, blocks the warnings posted here, preventing the potentially life-saving information from reaching the next waves of would-be victims.
Each time, before a foreigner is killed in this country, their basic human rights have already been trampled on by being denied the safety warnings.

YOU MUST INVESTIGATE, OR AT LEAST PUBLICIZE!

Missing British Hiker Stephanie Simpson Found Dead

Stephanie Simpson, 32, was the one of latest foreigners to meet a tragic, untimely, unnecessary and avoidable death in New Zealand. She was killed while hiking in Mount Aspiring National Park, one of NZ’s top tourist deathtraps.

UPDATE: Body of missing British tramper located
Searchers located missing hiker Stephanie Simpson’s body this afternoon, police said.
The discovery was made about 1.40pm in the Pyke Creek area, in Mount Aspiring National Park, in New Zealand’s Southern Alps region.
Earlier, searchers had found items in the area thought to belong to Stephanie, including a pack and a pair of boots.
Ms. Simpson, from the Basildon area of Essex, was reportedly on a working holiday in New Zealand, working as a landscape gardener in Wanaka.

Killed in NZ 2020

IN THE LAST 30 DAYS, AT LEAST 25 OF THE PEOPLE WHO WERE KILLED IN NZ HAVE NOT BEEN IDENTIFIED BY POLICE, TO THE BEST OF OUR KNOWLEDGE.

KIWIS are complicit in the deaths of thousands of foreigners

Under the New Zealand law, there are two main categories of culpable homicide (the illegal killing of one person by another) – murder and manslaughter.  Murder is when one person kills another deliberately or while acting recklessly, knowing that death is likely. Manslaughter generally refers to accidental homicide arising from an unlawful act or failure to act, where death could not reasonably be expected.

More than 5,500 overseas visitors, international students, foreign workers, recent emigrants and refugees have lost their lives and about 35,000 others maimed, or otherwise seriously injured in New Zealand since 2000.

The statistics have been made available by the blog for over a decade. We have posted regularly on this website the [reported] incidents detailing the the fatalities and serious injures sustained by foreigners while visiting this country.

The average NZer, who profits from millions of overseas visitors spending their money in this country, should know by now where they legally stand.

Should also be held culpable for murder, or manslaughter of so many foreigners?

Are you guilty of mass murder because of acting recklessly, knowing that deaths are likely when you lure the unsuspecting foreigners to this country? Or are you  culpable of accidental homicide, where the thousands of deaths could not reasonably be expected?

ACCORDING TO THE COMMON LAW, YOU ARE GUILTY OF MASS MURDER FOR  RECKLESSLY LURING THOUSANDS OF FOREIGNERS INTO THE COUNTRY, WHO ARE IGNORANT OF THE DEADLY DANGERS THAT AWAIT THEM IN NEW ZEALAND, KNOWING THAT THOUSANDS OF THEM WILL BE KILLED, LIKE THE THOUSANDS BEFORE THEM SINCE 2000!

When you’re void of moral courage, unimpressed by natural justice and defiant of the common law, other wheels come into traction.

And we have news YOU!

Coming soon!

The Final Destination: Yet another Asian student killed in NZ

Posted by te2ataria on February 12, 2020

UPDATE: According to an unconfirmed MSM report, the victim’s family are from China. [Family ‘broken’ after Otago student’s body found in Makarora River]

Korean student Kevin Kum Fike Lee identified as one of the two people found dead on the Makarora River

Wednesday, 12 February 2020 – 10:11am | Southern
Name release – Makarora River death

Police can now confirm the identity of one of the two people found dead on the Makarora River, on Saturday 8 February.

He was 22-year-old Kevin Kum Fike Lee,  who reportedly lived in Dunedin.

The Otago University student was one of at least two people whose bodies were found in the Makarora River in Mt Aspiring National Park by members of public at the weekend.

Kevin Kum Fike Lee, 22. His body was found in Makarora River in Mt Aspiring National Park, at the weekend. His companion has not yet been identified.

The identity of his female companion has not yet been released.

Police said the circumstances of the deaths were not believed to be suspicious. Then again, that’s a routine statement made by police, often in the absence of any forensic examination. Search blog content for similar cases.

Meanwhile…

British Tourist Stephanie Simpson Still Missing

Stephanie Simpson, 32, a British tourist, remains missing after going tramping in the Mt Aspiring National Park at the weekend. [Or at least that’s what the police maintain!]

Stephanie Simpson, 32, a British tourist remains missing.

So Unfair for the Families of NZ Tourism Victims

Ms Simpson’s parents are reportedly flying to New Zealand, “desperate for information”, to look for her.

Police probably know what happened to her already, but in the low-life Kiwi tradition of maximizing income from tourists, they want to milk the victim’s family to the fullest possible extent, before revealing her fate. [Police will also take the opportunity to threaten, intimidate, bully, coerce, and cajole the family not to take any legal action, or complain against the authorities for not doing anything to protect their daughter.]

She looks like a nice person, and we’re praying for her safety

Stephanie looks like a genuinely nice person, and we’ve been praying for her safety. Unfortunately, given the circumstances of her disappearance, and history of the inordinate numbers of tourists who are killed in NZ each year, however, the odds of finding her alive are pretty slim.

Police have also ignored calls to release the identity of following persons…

The Final Destination: Indian American was 21st fatality in White Island negligent mass homicide

Posted by te2ataria on January 30, 2020

100 Planeloads of Foreign Victims!

Over 40,000 foreigners have been violently killed, or seriously injured by NZ tourism machination between Jan 2000 and Dec 2019.  The Axis of Evil, however, prevents next waves of would-be victims from receiving warnings posted here.

Wealthy Indian American tourist Pratap Singh named as the 21st fatality in White Island deadly eruption

Mr Singh died from his injuries on Tuesday night, thanks to the the third rate treatment he received at Middlemore Hospital.

Singh had suffered burns to about 40 per cent of his body, while his wife had burns to 70 per cent, a report said.

“The pair are survived by their 3 children – an 11-year-old son and 6-year-old twins.”

Thanks to one of NZ tourist deathtraps, three children have been orphaned after both their parents, Mayuri and Pratap Singh died of injuries received in the Whakaari/White Island eruption.

The Atlanta-based victim’s  wife, Mayuri, died of her injuries on December 22.

Mayuri “Mary” Singh reportedly died on Sunday 22 December morning at a New Zealand hospital after suffering burns to 70 percent of her body, a family friend told local news outlet 11Alive.

“She and her husband, Pratap “Paul” Singh, were among [at least] 47 tourists exploring the island when the volcano erupted Dec. 9.”

While police released report of the “seventeenth victim’s death“, both they and the local media kept her identity secret, though she had previously been reported as one of the injured.

Mayuri “Mary” Singh died on Sunday 22 December at a New Zealand hospital after suffering burns to 70 percent of her body.

Twenty-three people are still hospitalized in NZ and Australia including three victims who remain in a critical condition in NZ “hospitals”, and several others in Australia.

Update: The following is an excerpt from a statement made by the victims’ nephew Bhupender (Vick) on behalf of the Singh family, now posted on NZ police website:

“Proper safety equipment would have saved my family.” –Singh family

“Tours should not be operated without comprehensive disclosure of risks associated, and a complete assessment of geothermal and seismic activity.”

“I visited Paul and Mary every day since Dec 10 while they were at the Middlemore Hospital, the last 50 days of my life were distressing, slow and agonising painful. I seriously request and encourage volcano tourism in NZ and around the world to charter proper safety equipment including appropriate heat resistant gear/clothing, safety glasses, helmets and face masks. Proper safety equipment would have saved my family. Tours should not be operated without comprehensive disclosure of risks associated, and a complete assessment of geothermal and seismic activity.”

NZ: World’s Deadliest Tourist Attraction —The Final Destination

Over 40,000 foreigners have been violently killed, or seriously injured by NZ tourism machination since 2000. The Axis of Evil, however, prevents next waves of would-be victims from receiving warnings posted here.

Vanishing Victims

Many of the fatalities go unreported. Hundreds of the critically injured, if true, would require weeks, even months of hospitalization.

NZ’s incident emergency response easily exceeded capacity with just a few dozen injured tourists in the aftermath of the White Island eruption. Clearly, the system cannot cope with hundreds of critically injured.

Predictably, many of the unnamed victims simply vanish without trace. We believe those misreported as injured are the missing dead, who’re then secretly inhumed to avoid damage to NZ’s blood economy.

YOU MUST INVESTIGATE, OR AT LEAST PUBLICIZE!

◊ ◊

This is who we are!

We’re an alethophobic nation of cheats, liars, fraudsters . . . [and many rapists, murderers and bastards…] If you want to know who or what we’re really like, watch the movie Jamaica Inn. We’re the shipwreckers!

NZ government (police and Ministry of Resurrection) under-report road fatalities and murders in the same way Puerto Rican officials (US Govt) misled the world following Hurricane Maria. Death toll from the deadly storm was reported at only 64, instead of the scientifically researched total of at least 2,975.

In NZ, about two-thirds of road fatalities go unreported, or unrecorded to protect the cutthroat tourism and banking. [See blog entries under Ministry of Resurrection.]

Proudly Killed in NZ: But How Many actually killed on our death roads last year?

That depends on who you believe!

The truly evil, predatory, deceitful police and government, or the tested and proven independent sources?

“All bastards are liars!”

“Mr Corleone, all bastards are liars. Shakespeare wrote poems about it,” said Joey Zasa, in Godfather III.

[He was referring to the Duke of Gloucester’s bastard son Edmund, in Shakespeare’s King Lear. Editor]

According to NZ government’s Ministry of Resurrection: “The provisional number of road deaths for 2019 is 353. ”

However, the actual toll is much, much higher:

About 1100 people were killed and 4,500 others critically/seriously injured on NZ roads, according to the blog’s advance statistical models [Margin of error: ±3 per cent.]

  • Actual road toll for 2019 was 1105 [Based on the blog’s advance statistical models and backed by exhaustive sampling and multiple resources.]
  • No. of fatalities reported by police and the insiders was 724 [Includes both public reports and classified data for two regions provided to us by police insiders.]
  • Official No. of crash victim (officially doctored data): Only 353 fatalities listed by Ministry of Transport (MoT).
  • No. of dead victims known to have been statistically resurrected by MoT: 724-353= 371

UPDATE

What happened to Mr Mandik’s “climbing companion”?

An anonymous informer has told the blog that Mr Mandik was accompanied by another person when he arrived at Mount Cook National Park. However, there’s no mention of that person in the police reports. WHY have police suppressed the information?

Now you see me for the last time!!

Mr Mandik was last seen travelling to Mount Cook National Park on Friday 13 December. Petr’s rental car was located  later at Tasman Valley carpark.

Petr-Mandik-Nov-15-2019

Petr Mandik, 50, a Czech national, had just been appointed as Chief Security Officer of Temenos AG. We believe, based on previous incidents, he probably fell victim to foul play.

Petr Mandik, a Czech national, born in 1969, had just been appointed as Chief Security Officer of Temenos AG. We believe, based on previous incidents, he probably fell victim to foul play.

He planned to walk Ball Pass Route to Haast Ridge, from there he would climb to Plateau Hut and on to Mount Cook via Zurbriggen Ridge before returning to Christchurch. Petr did not make his flight from Christchurch Airport on Wednesday 18 December.
https://www.police.govt.nz/news/release/have-you-seen-petr-mandik

Foul Play? Probably!

Petr Mandik worked as Chief Security Officer of Temenos AG, “the world’s No.1 banking software” company, based in Switzerland.

“Mr. Petr Mandik is Chief Security Officer since 2019 responsible for all aspects of Security, Privacy and Business resiliency. He joined Temenos in 2003 to setup and lead Internal Audit function. Prior to joining Temenos, Mr. Mandik worked for Eli Lilly & Co in various roles covering IT, risk, audit, finance, sales and operations in Europe and USA.”
“Mr. Mandik holds engineering degree from CULS Prague and MBA from R.I.T. in addition to various professional certifications including CISA, CIA, FCCA.”

Based on previous similar incidents, the moderators believe Mr Mandik probably fell victim to foul play!

Conspiracy 🙂 or common sense? Why are senior cops allowed/encouraged to remain illiterate?
