Another American tourist killed, her parents critically injured in violent crash

Young American woman violently killed; her parents near-fatally injured in logging truck crash

A tourist who was violently killed after the rental she was a passenger in collided with a fully laden logging truck near Matamata was an American woman, travelling with her parents, police said.

The 22-year-old woman was instantly killed in the crash on Hopkins Rd, off State Highway 29 on Monday morning.

The turn-off is the main route to Hobbiton Movie Set, but Waikato police Senior Sergeant Gill Meadows said it was still unclear where the trio were travelling but it was possible they were heading to the well-known tourist attraction,

The woman’s 59-year-old father was driving the car while her 55-year-old mother was in the back seat. The pair were airlifted to Waikato Hospital both in a critical condition, Waikato police Senior Sergeant Gill Meadows said.

“I understand the mother was going into surgery today, that was the latest update that we had, but both were still in a very serious condition.”

“The impact of the crash was so intense that witnesses noticed the truck and trailer unit get airborne on impact before shunting the car about 20m down the road into a fence,” said a report.

How Many Killed?

More than 3,400 overseas visitors, international students, foreign workers and recent emigrants have lost their lives and about 18,000 others seriously injured in New Zealand since year 2000.

Truth hurts New Zealand tourism. The average tourist would not visit this country, if they knew true extent of the daily carnage on our deadly roads. Therefore:

To protect the tourism industry, about two-thirds of the road fatalities in New Zealand go unreported by our political police, or unrecorded by Ministry of Transport [“Minitru”.] This week there’s been a near total news censorship…

About 2.7 million licensed drivers, half million or so unlicensed/unqualified drivers and more than one million tourists (per year) drive on New Zealand death roads.

A large number of the above drive a vehicle under the influence (illicit drugs, banned substances, prescription medication…), while intoxicated, fatigued or mentally unfit, resulting in inordinate numbers of fatalities and injuries. [Other factors for the carnage include deadly roads, road unworthy vehicles…]

IF you don’t publicly denounce the road carnage and the extreme violence perpetrated against the foreigners in New Zealand…

THEN, you’re complicit in the mass murder and…

Another tourist hit and killed by a truck in Napier

Posted by te2ataria on September 30, 2015

Police update: The fatal crash victim was Murray Anthony Reid. He was reportedly a resident of Mount Manganui.

UK tourist witnessed fatal crash that killed her husband

“Unfortunately the man’s wife has witnessed the crash, which is horrific when you think about it,” said the local cop, Senior Sergeant Brown.

The victim’s identity is known, but his name won’t be released until police have advised the remainder of the family.

The intersection where the fatal crash occurred “is in the top five for serious and fatal crashes in the country, and was the scene of a near-fatal collision between a logging truck and a car only a few months ago,” according to a report.

The New Zealand Transport Agency is planning to install a roundabout at the intersection, where other people have also been killed, in the next two years, the report quoted the cop as saying.

“It is one of those intersections that for some unexplained reason people keep making mistakes with. The speed has previously been reduced to 80km/h to reduce the risk but perhaps this needs to be explored further in light of the latest crashes.”

Moderator’s note: New Zealand is plagued with poorly constructed roads, hundreds of blind spots, and fatal intersections that for obvious reasons lead to deadly crashes in which hundreds of people are killed each year.

About 3,400 overseas visitors, international students, foreign workers and new immigrants have been killed and at least 18,000 others seriously injured in New Zealand since the year 2000.

Karaka Rd crash kills two Chinese nationals leaves a third fighting for his life

The Chinese visitors did NOT cause the Karaka Road’s fatal crash!

Police said:

Monday, 13 April 2015 – 2:53pm – Counties Manukau

The investigation into a crash which killed two women in Karaka on Saturday morning is continuing.

Police can name the two women as Na Huan, aged 22, and Zhuangya Xu, 23 both of China.

The women were travelling in a yellow Toyota Altezza with one other person who remains in hospital in a critical condition.

The other vehicle, a white Toyota Altezza, was travelling in the opposite direction on Karaka Road.  At this stage of the investigation it appears that this vehicle crossed the centre line.  The driver of this vehicle remains in hospital with serious injuries.

Everyone involved in the two car crash was wearing seatbelts.

New Zealand presstitute said:

Two dead; two seriously injured

The carnage continued early Saturday when two women died on State Highway 22 near Karaka. That crash also left two people fighting for their lives.

Firefighters used hydraulic cutting gear to remove the roofs of both vehicles to reach the dead women and the injured men.

Police said three Chinese nationals were in one car and had only recently arrived in New Zealand.

Ministry of Transport figures show to the end of February, 55 people had died on New Zealand roads – 14 more than the same time last year.

A 2014 ministry report on overseas drivers also shows the percentage of crashes involving overseas licenceholders has almost doubled over the last two decades.
