“Seismologists” at Geonet have been left scratching their butts at the aftershock pattern following the M7.8 Kaikoura earthquake. What’s Happening to the Road Toll??

The State’s other Stinking Secrets

BLOG’S STATISTICAL MODELS: About 900 people are killed on NZ roads each year. [Most probably] up to 810 road fatalities have occurred in NZ since 1 January 2016, but only 290 deaths have reported by police/minitru.

Truth about the daily carnage on the roads hurts the massive foreign investment in New Zealand including the $10 billion tourism industry.

[The Stock of total foreign investment in New Zealand was at least NZ$ 322,279 million, excluding confidential amounts “invested” through Channel Islands, according to a report posted at https://www.nzte.govt.nz/en/invest/statistics/ ]

Three more bodies found in New Zealand

Posted by te2ataria on February 26, 2016

Foreword: Not a day, not an hour goes by without a body being found somewhere in New Zealand. It’s no wonder New Zealand is among Top Ten destinations for “murder tourism.” [The others on the list are Afghanistan, Iraq, PNG, Somali…]

Interestingly (!) in most cases the police-instructed coroners want the curious public to believe that:

  • A victim can commit suicide by first hanging himself, then walking to nearest bridge/ harbor and jumping into water.
  • Bludgeon himself to death (!),  pretending it was an ‘accidental death

Another murder mystery in Waikato River?

Another man drowns in “ankle-deep water”

A 42-year-old man who drowned while swimming in the Waikato River near Hammond Park was reportedly found lying face down in ankle-deep water.

Police were called to the river off Malcolm St in the Riverlea area of Hamilton on Saturday about 4.50pm, according to reports.

“There were people who were watching him… He appeared not to be distressed. Then he reached reasonably close, the shallower part of the river or was approaching the shallower part of the river, so people kind of took their eyes off him,” said Senior Sergeant Pete van de Wetering of the Waikato District Command Centre.

“Within a couple of minutes… he had sort of submerged. “http://www.stuff.co.nz/waikato-times/news/75749844/man-drowns-in-waikato-river

Auckland man’s body recovered from Coromandel stream
Police said the 32-year-old Auckland man set out canyoning by himself on Saturday near Table Mountain, Thames.

“He came into grief  in a river,” said Senior Segreant Rupert Friend of Waikato Police.

Decomposing Body SN: NZ 1,587

Posted by te2ataria on April 4, 2010

sent by a reader, edited by TEAA and D.H.

They find ‘em here, they find ‘em there… rotting corpses, decomposing bodies, visitors’ cadavers, missing stiffs everywhere …

“If they didn’t have rotting, yellow teeth, you could call them bloodsucking lambs.”

Another day, another decomposing body  has been found in the Waikato River.

“The body was discovered near the Meremere Wharf, 64km south east of Auckland, shortly before 9am yesterday when a master of a barge saw it in the water nearby,” according to a report.

The body was recovered from the river about 7:00pm.

“Police said they were unable to speculate on the sex or identity of the person, other than to say the body was small in stature, because of the length of time it the body had been submerged.”

The body was sent to Auckland for a post-mortem examination, the report said.

Not a day, not an hour goes by without a decomposing body being found somewhere in New Zealand

Yet Another Victim of NZ Tourism

Posted by te2ataria on February 23, 2009

Yet another ‘nameless,’ ‘stateless’ victim of New Zealand tourism had his 15 seconds of fame described in 58 words on the internet yesterday:

Man in serious condition after jetski crash

A 20-year-old man is in a serious condition in hospital after a jetski crash on Waikato River today.

Two jetskis collided about 500m south of the Tuakau Brige, about 3.30pm, Inspector Kerry Watson of northern police communications said.

Passing boaties pulled the man to shore where he was airlifted to hospital.
